Anamar Patmos

Nice quiet hotel located which is ideally situated within 500 metres of Skala centre. Hotel staff very friendly and caring. Clean rooms. Large breakfasting area which is situated beside the swimming pool. Something for every taste for breakfast. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Worst hotel ever !!! Stay away. Everything was either very old or broken. People were quite polite but even them claimed that the hotel needs to be demolished! Dirty, old, disgusting bathrooms, stained sheets, hair everywhere. Simple do not come.

The experience has been horrible. The institute of consumer and hygiene department should intervene ASAP! Having Travelled extensively, like all of us, you never expect to find a place so badly run. Especially in Patmos! Patmos is considered an exclusive and elegant destination therefore prices are up. Having paid 180 Euros per night for this establishment is a disgrace. The receptionist was not welcoming and was not happy that we asked for twin beds though on the website it clearly states that all rooms have twin beds unless the customer asks for a double bed. When the ladies working there heard that we’re not happy. None was talking Greek and they were very upset while talking to a foreign language. The rooms have not been renovated for decades and you can see as everything is falling apart, the small refrigerator was off and rusty. The cleaning was only for dust while on the bathrooms you could find hair everywhere. The bathroom was so old you didn’t want to enter. The ‘breakfast’ was a joke. Overall, the management should be ousted asap as it is a disgrace for Greece. If the price was 1/3 of what the charge fair enough people know what they get. For what we paid it is scandalous and I hope others join me in making these reviews. We have complaint numerous times, but to jo avail. When I asked for shower products on the first day I was told there must be there. I said I checked thats why I am asking. The reply was the women ‘cleaning’ the bedrooms do not speak English. The room cleaning policy is every 2 days and that means changing towels and adding products. That’s it. Nothing else. The whole thing was a comedy and you could only laugh at their responses. Moreover, they asked us to pay the tax when we arrived. Weird, right? The location is the only positive thing if you have to find one. Still in the middle of nowhere in Skala. 7-8 mins walk to Skala. Stay away!!!!

The outside area is very nice in particular in the night with lights and the pool. Is old hotel but the view and the distance between rooms is perfect for the privacy. The rooms are very big, with good mattresses and very big balcony. The personal are kind and available to resolve the problems soon as possible.

They should shut down this hotel and never allow them to open again. I booked my trip to Patmos including all non refundable flights and ferries and unfortunately booked Anamar as my hotel to stay in. 6 days before my trip to Patmos in the middle of August while I was at the airport flying to Athens, I receive an email from the hotel asking me to cancel my *********** reservation because they messed up their reservations and were overbooked. My room which I had booked months in advance was suddenly not available anymore. I lost all my flights and ferries to and from patmos (Via Kos) because of the incompetence of this so called hotel. They’ve refunded the room but what about my entire ruined vacation flights, ferries and new more expensive hotels? DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE, THEY CANCEL THEM WITH NO REGARDS AND OFFER NO SOLUTIONS. BORDERLINE SCAM

Rude, unprofessional in an exceptionally old and ill maintained building. A pitty for Patmos overall I could go on for paragraphs, but the essence of it is ZERO stars. They will mess up every part of your trip and I can guarantee that: reservation, arrival, room type, breakfast,... At first you will be mad thinking it’s only you that has the problem then you will realise 80% of the guests are being put through the same nightmare Still, not gonna feel better

Entrando in albergo abbiamo riscontrato un personale molto carino e cortese, poco dopo abbiamo capito che la loro gentilezza non sarebbe servita a migliorare alcuni disagi della struttura! Oltre a interni sgradevoli e vecchi alcuni mobili erano rotti. Testata del letto impolverata, come le tendine delle finestre non piacevoli da aprire e chiudere per paura di toccare troppo sporco. Ci avevano promesso (e avevamo pagato) per la pulizia della camera a giorni alterni. Su 10 giorni ci è stata pulita due volte, solo perché siamo arrivati quasi a supplicarli. Ci sembrava che i dipendenti non avessero un capo o un direttore a cui fare affidamento e il tutto era un po’ allo sbando, non c’era professionalità, non sembrava di entrare in un albergo, più in una casa autogestita… Per tutto l’albergo ci sono tubi, scatoloni e la scatola di uscita dell’aria condizionata un po’ ovunque da rendere anche il passaggio per le scale triste e poco accogliente. La colazione okay… A ferragosto ci hanno risposto che non era possibile effettuare la pulizia (che comunque ci spettava e non avremmo dovuta neanche chiederla) perché quel giorno non lavoravano ed erano di festa. Questa risposta ci è sembrata un po’ comica per ovvi motivi. L’acqua della doccia e del lavandino era salata :) Ci tengo comunque a precisare che tutti i ragazzi che lavorano in albergo sono stati molto carini per tutta la durata de soggiorno!

Da evitare assolutamente. Uno schifo generale. Manco rifanno la stanza. A colazione accesso libero a persone con palesi sintomi da covid, nessuna precauzione. Un giorno mancava il succo e passi ma il giorno dopo non c'era il caffè.... Struttura fatiscente, dovrebbero escluderlo da piattaforme web.
