Nongnooch Garden Resort

I was there for a conference, and the conference facilities are fine. I was in one of the Lakeside Villas, which was OK, if a little spartan. The beds were firm, but I didn't mind that. There were no bedside lamps, nor was there any tea available, or milk. (There were some sachets of coffee and powdered creamer instead.) The reception staff didn't speak much English, but Google Translate and pictures on my phone worked for basic communication. My main gripe was the lack of vegetarian options at breakfast or lunch - everything seemed to have chicken, pork, fish, or prawns in it. One time I was down to boiled rice and steamed cabbage - and the cabbage had been cooked in fish sauce! This was very disappointing. Also, there's no easily available shop if you want to stock up. There is a 7-eleven, about 20 minutes walk in the heat, but mainly full of ultra-processed things. And no Indian/Ceylon tea!

Visited for the best part of a day. Something for the whole family to enjoy, whether the gardens for Mum and Dad, the dinosaurs that are everywhere (including sound for some of them), the cars for Dad in the museum, or the plentiful restaurants for the whole family. Definitely worth a trip!

Nong Nooch is huge. The gigantic scale of the property hits you as you enter the place. With plenty of options for views & clicks, the resort is a great place for events. We were here for a large gathering of folks for a function, followed by dinner.

Habitaciones limpias, frescas y cómodas. El buffet era bastante variado, buena atención. El complejo es seguro, vigilancia veinticuatro horas. Y está muy bien cuidado, haciendo que sea un placer el hosped**** allí.

우선 코끼리들이 너무 불쌍했고 처음에는 불쌍한지 모르다가 정말 솜털로 덮힌 아기 코끼리도 꼬챙이에 찔려가며 팁달라고 무릎 꿇는데 정말 가슴이 미어지더라구요. 제발 가서 코끼리 타는거나 코끼리 쇼 보지말고 그냥 정원만 보다 오세요... 모든 코끼리들에 목에 쇠사슬 걸려서 울타리에 묶여서 팁달라고 아우성치는데 진짜 이건 아니다 싶더라구요..그리고 모르겠습니다. 세상에서 가장 인공적이고 기괴한 공원이었는데 동물 수집가가 만든 곳인지 동물이란 동물 플라스틱 모형은 다갖다 놨더라구요. 앞에 러시아 사람하는 말 들어보니까 옛날에 왔을 때는 이렇게 플라스틱 동물 모형이 많지 않았는데 지금 엄청 많아졌다고 하더라고요. 돈벌어서 다 플라스틱 모형만드는데 쓰는 듯. 그리고 코끼리 보고싶으신 준들은 하루 팔만원짜리 코끼리 목욕시키고 잡주는 갱추어리 생겼으니까 거기 가보세요 진짜 재밌었어요
