After we were left without accommodation in the evening hours due to another unavailable and unprofessional service provider, Gianni, the host of Dimora Grottone, answered our call immediately, we met at the entrance of the accommodation in 10 minutes to see the remaining room. We were able to stay the first night to decide whether we would like to spend more days here. We finally chose this as our main base for the next 5 days. Perfect and fast communication, clean apartment, full equipment, quiet environment, close to the sea, close to the old town, yet a calm environment. But the most positive thing for us is the owner, who puts his heart and soul into his work and don't let travelers down. He answers quickly and willingly to all questions that arise. Kindness and trust are guaranteed with this choice of accomodation.

With modern air conditioning and a top-notch shower, every moment felt like a luxurious escape. What's more, its location is unbeatable—just mere steps from the enchanting old city. And Gianni? An unparalleled host. His warmth and helpfulness truly elevated our experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this haven to anyone seeking a memorable stay. Personally, I'm already looking forward to my return visit!"

The apartment is in an excellent location, on a quiet street but close to beautiful downtown Polignano a Mare. The host is very friendly and helpful. Ideal for a couple’s getaway! Would love to go back!

Although, we had some problems with the toilet leaking and going up the 4 flights of stairs haha, everything else regarding our stay was a wonderful experience. The host really is what made this experience super enjoyable. I’m super pleased with his customer service as he was very kind and helpful with everything, especially since we were a big group. I could not have survived there without his assistance.

Fantastic stay! Very close to the historic center, the lungomare Domenico Modugno and its famous statue, wonderful sea view. Close to several restaurants and coffee shop for breakfast. I parked at the street at the low season in May, but there is a convenient paid parking around 200m from the place. Gianni – the owner – could not be a better host: reliable at checkin and checkout scheduled hours, helped with baggage, gave a lot of useful information and booked us a very nice boat tour. When we arrived there was a bottle of local wine, water and snacks. The apartment is nice, comfortable bed and pillows, nice TV. The living room and small kitchen are useful, with the minifridge and the nespresso machine, always full with capsules. It was impeccably clean, as they service it every other day and refresh the towels. A free washing machine at the building was also very useful. Bravo, Gianni, a stay to be proud of!

Wonderful stay! They did everything possible to make our experience the best! We truly love Gianni and his hotel! We will be returning for sure, two weeks just wasn't enough! It's quiet and close to everything!

Hands down the best place I’ve lived in. The host Giovanni was exceptional and so was his assistant Valeria. Together they made my stay worthwhile and coincidentally I arrived on my birthday which they also made very very special with cake and Prosecco. The house is beautiful with a lovely balcony nice big room super clean and airy! Highly recommend staying here since I was single traveler and I had the most seamless experience ☺️

Ottimo B&B, Gianni il titolare è una persona gentile e disponibile. Struttura pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Centralissima (20 mt dalla piazza Domenico Modugno) ma le finestre insonorizzate ti permettono di riposare benissimo. Da ritornare assolutamente. 10/10

Siamo quattro amiche che da anni soggiornano a Polignano sempre ospiti al B&B “Dimora Grottone” dei fratelli Serio. Abbiamo trascorso cinque giorni fantastici. Pulizia e accoglienza al TOP! Cura in ogni minimo dettaglio! Locale dotato di ogni comfort e posizione strategica, essendo vicinissimo al mare. Ogni volta, come arriviamo, ci sembra di essere a casa, con Gianni ed il fratello Giuseppe che ci coccolano e ci fanno sentire in famiglia. Sono davvero delle persone squisitissime. Sicuramente torneremo perché ogni volta è un’emozione ed una cascata di affetto. Da amiche vi diciamo: MILLE VOLTE GRAZIE. Daniela, Ivana, Morena e Claudia.
