Wave Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Wave Resort is a place that cannot be described in a few words . At the lobby bar you can drink a great espresso. Every morning have delicious, varied and nutritious breakfast.At lunch or dinner, the variety is so great that it is extremely difficult to make a choice. I will mention the delicious soups, great pizzas, spaghetti. Various types of prepared meat delicacies are available. The food is prepared in front of the guests. Wave resort rooms have a great design, are spacious and cozy. I personally didn't like the desserts, but that's just me. But there is one big exception, and that's the eclairs. Incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, he only had them at lunch once. The mini bar in rooms is refilled daily if you have requirements from Wave Resort will assist you. For example, I don't drink regular coca cola, but cola with zero sugar. My next holiday in Wave Resort in May 2024

We travelled as a group (me, husband, our 8yo and my parents). It was the end of the season so understandably it was a little too chilly to use some of the outdoor facilities. There were a couple of heated pools which was nice. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. A/C wasn’t working so at some points the rooms were quite warm. But there are fly screens on windows and a nice breeze. Really happy with the food on offer. Varied, fresh and tasty. Plenty of it. Good availability of drinks at the restaurants and bars. Housekeeping excellent. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this resort. On our last day there was a film crew all around the lobby area of the hotel. There were a few signs warning of us of this, but they really made us feel unwelcome. So probably worth avoiding the last week of the season if you intend to visit, in case this is an annual occurrence.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, extremely helpful friendly staff, amazing range of delicious food available 24hrs a day, to suit every palette, fantastic amenities, comfortable rooms with great views. The dancing fountains were really lovely, plenty of sun loungers and very comfortable day beds to lounge on around every pool area. Snack bars and drink bars near all the pools, just a FABULOUS hotel!!!!

We spent two weeks ago 10 really great days at Wve Resort Pomorie. It was our second visit within 2 years and nothing changed between both visits. Always great food, great a**opshere, amazing fitness accommodation and an engaged entertainment team. We also visit this year the old city of Nessebar which really impressed us and we recommand to visit if you are in the neighborhood. We will probably move to another location next year but we will come back for sure. If we could really recommend one thing to the Hotel Management is really to improve this mess of each morning with the towel war. Too stupid to have people waking up at 6 o’clock in the morning to reserve their place near to the pool. This should be forbidden and there should be more discipline. For the rest we really recommand this family hotel at it is a great place to spend their holiday. For all future guests….enjoy as we enjoy it….

We were staying in an apar**ent in Pomorie and decided to try the all inclusive day pass (10.00 - 18.00) at the Wave Resort. We took a taxi there which cost 40 leva as the resort is actually in Aheloy. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is extremely clean throughout and having lived in a small village in Bulgaria, staying in many hotels and apar**ent during our time, I can honestly say it’s the best hotel by far! Extremely clean, friendly hard working staff and maintained to a very high standard. We arrived around 10.30am. We tried the Bistro bar, there were plenty of beautiful snacks, rolls (meats & cheese,) salads, fruits, cakes and drinks (soft, hot, alcohol.) We strolled along to the pool bar area. Passing the fantastic fountains and beautiful gardens. Amazing selection of drinks and the barman was so lovely (some of the guests were so ignorant and rude to him but he was still pleasant to them.) So many pools to choose from but the water was very cold but that didn’t phase us! We went down to the beach bar and it was such a relaxing area, again there was a great selection of drinks. The beach is mainly black sand, shells and pebbles (footwear would be advisable but not completely necessary.) A bit of a slope down to the sea (quite steep in places.) Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas available. The sea was quite warm, thankfully no jellyfish and only a small amount of sea grass. Some lovely waves to jump and have fun. The cocktail bar was lovely and the snacks available near the amphitheater were wonderful. There were lovely children’s pools (although we didn’t need them as we were a group of 3 adults.) The water slides were great fun but care is needed climbing up the wet tiled stairs to reach them. The main buffet restaurant for lunch was fantastic, plenty of choice and the staff were all pleasant and worked extremely hard. The indoor games area had a few things to do but I did think a 5 leva token to play pool was a little expensive. The Lobby bar and terrace was a lovely end to our time there. We didn’t have the time to make use of the spa area, sadly. Overall I would highly recommend the day pass and would love to actually stay at the hotel. With the prices of food/drinks on the coast, the all inclusive day pass is extremely worth it and the facilities are outstanding! The staff work extremely hard, they are friendly and the hotel is of very high standards for Bulgaria!

We’ve just returned from wave resort after a 2 weeks stay the hotel is really lovely the staff are lovely it’s spotlessly clean grounds are beautiful with pool areas and fountains which has a light show at night . there are lots of pools (7) including an adults only pool area a children’s splash park and water slides and an indoor pool there are cabana beds and an abundance of sun beds in every area . The hotel also has direct access to the beach with sunbeds and parasols . You have numerous outside bar areas a beach bar a cocktail bar and a huge bar and food court situated near the children’s splash park . Indoors you have the lobby bar and terrace . This is an ultra all inclusive hotel so you can get food and drink 24 hours as when one place shuts another opens. for food you have the main restaurant which opens for breakfast lunch and dinner in between meal times there is a bistro area which stays open all night which has cobs pizzas salads cakes cheese ham fruit wine coffees beer soft drinks .The outside food court opens at 11am till 5pm ( depending on season ) offering chips meats pizzas hotdogs cakes fruit doughnuts etc . The food in the restaurant is really good quality and lots of choice it caters well for children with baby food and formula milk available and a seating area with small tables and chairs . Also there are 3 Al a carte restaurants 2 that are complimentary with your stay ( bottle of wine payable ) and the Asian restaurant is 50% bill charge we tried all the Al a carte and thought they were really nice Rooms are nice and spacious good wardrobe space a fridge which has beer coke water children’s milk shakes and wafer biscuits and is replenished daily tea / coffee facilities including an Nespresso machine . The shower is powerful and good wifi in all areas and outside . Hairdryer was good there are no iron and boards in room but says has an ironing room in the hotel. In the hotel there is a shop selling gifts and essentials a clothes boutique a health spa hairdressers and beauty salon and there is a shuttle bus which takes you to Pomori . We are a couple in our 50’s and enjoyed our stay but think it’s more fitting for families with small children as the facilities food options children’s pools splash park/ slides kids clubs and children’s animation team etc were brilliant and this was emphasised as it was very busy especially our first week with a lot of children and families in the daytime we were at the adult only pool area which was lovely but in the evening it was very busy and noisy with children running around the restaurant bar and seating areas in the hotel so not great when you just want to have a few quiet drinks in the evening bar . We would stay again but maybe nearer the end of sept when appeared to be getting quieter and maybe only a week as too much lovely food on offer so now to get off the pounds
