We stayed a few days at Borgo Condé wine resort and had a very nice, relaxing stay. The resort and views over the wine yards are absolutely stunning. On the day of arrival there was a wedding at the resort, we were informed in advance. We had dinner at the other restaurant of the resort which was about a 10 minutes walk. The room was very big and had everything you need, it was also very clean. We had a wine tasting which we highly recommend, you get a tour through the cellar and afterwards taste 3 red wines that they make. All of the staff members are very neat and polite, welcoming you with a smile and giving the best service possible. The breakfast, lunch an dinner were all very good. There is nothing bad to say about this resort. We will definitely come back sometime!

We came here three years ago with friends and we had great experiences with their service and foods. For this reason we decided to come back again this weekend. But it seems like they have replaced the management team or what. The same restaurant we came last time, this time has become our nightmare. We arrived at 9pm, tables are not full, but we waited 30 mins till waiter finally realized he didn’t even have us the menu. After ordering appetizers, 2 pasta for kids and mix grills for all adults, another 45mins to wait for the appetizer. After we finished the dishes, another 20mins of waiting. Because of the long waiting, we had to cancel one pasta because kid can’t wait that long to eat anymore. That’s the point when we realized the waiter order only 3 portions of mix grills for 8 adults. As soon as we went to complain about the waiting, suddenly the pasta and grills were all served. The waiter was with very bad attitude that just threw the pan with pasta inside on our table (really don’t think ppl should eat directly from the cooking pan but she left it like that anyway) The meats were all cold and she threw them on our table again without saying anything. Since those were from 3 adults instead of for 8 people, at that point we just wanted to run away from this nightmare. Again, the tables were not full, not even 50% full. We understand errors can happen, simply apologize and try to make it up, problem solved. But apparently the waiter has chosen the other solution. Thanks to her we will never come back anymore.

The location is stunning, beautiful vineyard hills and old refurbished buildings. We were not made aware of the services and this was disappointing as makes feel less welcome however everyone approached us with a smile and politeness. The room was nice, breakfast good, possibly overall a little overpriced.

We are fortunate travelers and stayed at Borgo Conde a few years ago, for Easter. We loved it then and returned in 2022 in March, and stayed in the same suite away from the main building. We had a car, which is really necessary if you want to venture off the estate. There were very few guests and limited staff, however, we loved our stay...AND the food and service at the restaurant each evening was wonderful! Thank you so much! God willing, we will return!

I spent one night at Borgo Conde in August. The place is in a beautiful setting and has a nice spa and swimming pool. However as a family we did not feel welcomed and we had a very bad experience in the spa as we were literally harassed by the massage guy who was terribly unpleasant and aggressive. First when we arrived we were assigned a room in a house which is very distant from the main structure and every time requires taking a car to move around to the restaurant and to the swimming pool. It is possible that this type of room is available only in that structure but it is very difficult if you are travelling with kids to move around that way and it would have been much more considerate to assign us a room in the main structure. Regarding the spa experience, this turned out to be a very stressful experience which definitely ruined our stay at this place. We had booked one hour only for us at the spa. When we arrived the massage guy came to us first at the entrance to warn us that we had to keep quiet with the kids as he was doing massages upstairs and any noise is amplified by the acoustics of the structure. We made an effort to keep kids quiet for the hour we had booked (which you can imagine can be quite challenging and stressful with a 6 and 4 years old) but we succeeded well. While we were having shower in the changing room (which was already after 8 pm and so at a time when most of the guests were away having dinner) one of the kids slipped and fell in the changing room and started crying. The massage guy came downstairs literally screaming at us that we were disturbing him in a moment while we were already stressed by the kid having fallen. I have to say that I have never been treated so badly in a spa or a hotel. I mentioned this to the reception but there was no reaction. The massage guy intervened at that moment to justify his reaction probably after realising that he had exaggerated. In any event if the acoustics are bad in the building it is a problem for the hotel but not a justification to mistreat or disrespect clients. I don’t think anyway I will be back anymore in this place.

This August we stayed at the Borgo Conde Resort for the second time. We‘ve already been there two years ago and since we loved it so much last time we decided to go there again. Starting withe positive, I have to say that the landscape surrounding the resort is just breathtaking…the views are simply amazing & you can go for great walks there. The buildings themselves are also very nice & look great from the outside as well the inside. Especially at night the atmosphere with all the lights on is lovely. When it comes to the staff we can‘t say say anything negative. They are all friendly, at this point I‘d especially like to mention the young waitresses, they are super polite and lovely. The spa area is really nice, too. There is only one small thing that we saw several guests be a bit disappointed about…it‘s the temperature of the pool. I don‘t know if it can be be heated, but it was just way too cold. Hardly anyone went in there. You could use the spa area but covidwise you can only book one-hour slots, which is perfectly understandable though. We dined twice in the resort‘s restaurant…it was just like last time we‘ve been there unbelievably good. I even think it‘s the best food we‘ve ever had in Italy. Also, the dishes are highly creative! Compliments on that! Now, what really makes me sad somehow was our last night at the resort. We paid more for a better room, had the deluxe junior suite overlooking the pool, but we were not informed that there would be a wedding going on. I am quite sure we‘d have chosen other dates to go to Italy if we only knew that… it was anything but relaxing. The noise (very loud music) coming from the wedding hall just below our room was just way too loud. We‘re definitely not light sleepers but this was just not nice. To be fair however, it all stopped at 2am. We had to get up at 6, though ;) Now, I know this is also an event location and you earn money with this but maybe you could just arrange this a bit differently and maybe not give away the rooms right above the hall when there is an event? Or maybe let people know and give them a discount for that one night? When we left we got a bottle of wine, which was really nice & the receptionist (?) told us that he was really sorry. Thank you for that! :) Still, we truly love this place, it‘s one of our most favourite resorts ever and highly recommended. There is just always some room for improvement, right? ;)

What a special place! I came to Borgo Conde with some friends for dinner, and will definitely be back to spend some days at the resort. The location is incredible, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the valley straight from your table (we were sitting under a beautiful old oak). Our experience was flawless, from booking to payment. Emanuele (the manager) was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time with us explaining the story of the Borgo and recommending some of the amazing Sangiovesi produced using the grapes harvested from the Borgo's vinyards. All the waiters were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect evening, always with a smile even when the restaurant was at full capacity. The food was delicious, leveraging traditional Italian (Romagnola) cuisine with a modern twist, and creating amazing dishes presented in a fabulous way. All using fresh local produce! I only wish I could have tried more, so many to chose from! If you want a special evening or a relaxing getaway, this is the place to go for!

dopo qualche anno torno per pasqua in questo posto incantevole. proprio come il vino piu' passano gli anni e migliora. Cosa dire ... ottima cucina e personale fantastico, siamo stati coccolati da subito sia al ricevimento, alla spa e al ristorante la sera con piatti cucinati con amore e vino ottimo, la loro direttrice squisita ha pensato al nostro soggiorno in ogni particolare anche la stanza dove abbiamo dormito da favola con una vista sugli ulivi e piena di pace , la colazione al mattino ricca con prodotti del territorio , la degustazione in cantina con pane fatto i casa e il loro olio sublime...il pranzo di pasqua in osteria con carne tenerissima e valide proposte vegetariane... e poi… purtroppo viaggio terminato si ritorna a casa ma un salto sulle colline di Predappio in questa isola felice è tappa obbligatoria . grazie a tutto lo staff per la meravigliosa esperienza
