Ocean Dreams Galapagos

We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Santa Cruz. The small guest house is easy walking distance to the main street along the beach where all the restaurants, shops etc. are. It's on a side street so not too busy with traffic and people. They have small standard rooms on the very top and large rooms on the other floors. We switched to a large room which was more than double the size of the standard room and had a sofa, dining table with chairs and small kitchen (microwave, sink, plates, glasses). It's nice to be able to spread out after coming back from a day at the beach. On every floor in the corridor there is a water dispenser where you can get as much drinking water as you like (no plastic bottles needed). It also gives hot water which was suitable for our morning tea. The WiFi worked well most of the times but sometimes disappeared for an hour or so (I doubt this is the hotel's fault). AC and hot water worked very well. Breakfast was served on the ground floor, all freshly made as we sat down at the table. What I really liked at this hotel was the super friendly owner. She does not speak English and I don't speak Spanish but we managed to communicate. She always had a smile on her face and tried to help in every possible way. Ordering taxis , asking how our day was etc. It felt like coming home. If I ever come back to the Galapagos I for sure will stay here again!

I love this place! The owner made me eggs every morning and fruit breakfast. The room was super clean. I was sad to leave, and I’m definitely coming back! It’s on one of the side streets so that’s nice it’s pretty quiet and there aren’t that many people at the hotel so it’s more relaxed

We stayed there 3 nights. 4 friends in one suite. Plenty of room for all of us. The owner was very nice and kind. We felt as if she took us under her wings as our Mother. Made sure we don't miss our breakfast and when we had to leave early for our tour, she opened the kitchen early and prepared us food to go. Very close (5 minutes) to all the restaurants, the pier and the Darwin Research Center. Air condition, purified drinking water, hot water for showers, kitchen.

The people at this hotel are wonderful, especially Amanda! Very accommodating and very nice...The hotel is walking distance to the main street (restaurants and shops) and Charles Darwin research center! We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

This hotel is in a great location. It is close to the restaurants, the Pier (Fish market) is a must see with the pelicans and sea lions. We stayed 10 days at the Ocean Dreams Hotel. Based on the information we had, we were ready to pay with cash which is better for the businesses in the Galapagos. During our complete stay we felt safe and well taken care off by Amanda and family. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owner went out of her way to accommodate our breakfast based on our scheduled activities, which we greatly appreciated. Their suggestions were excellent. The hotel can also help you book your tours, diving and snorkeling trips ahead of your arrival. We will definitely return, thats the plan!
