Nous sommes venu dans cette hôtel en famille ou nous avons déjeuner. L'endroit et la vue est beau. Par contre la où nous étions très déçu pour un hôtel de ce nom le personnel est peux souriant et faire payer une assiette de poulet 20 euros c'est juste une HONTE. Mauvaise expérience aucun relationnelle client.

I wrote perhaps 9 positive reviews from my wife's and my trip to Italy. This one is a big negative. Maybe this is because this is somewhat of a rural setting, but we found the front desk service uniformly poor. They did or would not help with dinner reservations, or more importantly, when we had terrible noises overhead in our room they would not change our room. I had to get out of bed and get the night manager to come into our room. He said it was not a problem because it stopped after 45 minutes. No apologies. The breakfast was very poor including a one-size-fits-all machine for coffee, tea, and/or cappuccino--all of which were poor. They were constantly out of fruit. And finally, when we went to check out they gave me a bill for $980 Euro when it was prepaid. After 25 minutes, they "found" our prepayment. Again, no apologies for a very tense situation when our driver was waiting for us. We were not about to leave and have a thousand dollars charged to us. A very poor experience for us overall. The only saving grace was impeccable housekeeping.

We booked this hotel at the last minute, as we wanted a short break from our 4-week stay on Capri. The Hotel Rufolo is a charming, quite old-fashioned hotel located very centrally in Ravello. We’d booked a deluxe room with a view of the sea and were given a lovely room on the fourth floor with an enormous private terrace - incredible views of the Mediterranean! The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included with our room rate and it was just so so. Although the breakfast room was largely empty when we arrived around 8:30 am, many of the buffet offerings had not been replenished and we had to seek out staff to get us some scrambled eggs and bacon, which took some time. But breakfast aside, our experience at the Hotel Rufolo was very pleasant and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning a short stay in the beautiful town of Ravello.

We stayed at the Hotel Rufalo for two nights in between a visit to Sorrento and Positano, and it was amazing. So much so that when we arrived in Positano i wanted to go back to Hotel Rufolo. I had never been to Ravello and so I was kind of hesitant about the location and the hotel and both blew me away. The staff and the accommodations were wonderful. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, and we had a view that was incredible. We loved being able to see the towers of Villa Rufolo on one side and then the sea below on the right. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff helped us with any questions we had and we enjoyed the breakfast and took advantage of the pool as well while we were there. I actually think the photos on their website do not do it justice. It was a remarkable place to stay and we hope to return in the future.

I strongly do not recommend staying at Hotel Rufolo. There was a misunderstanding with which dates I booked to stay there and the Hotel charged me a "no show" fee even though I booked a year in advance and refused to credit me for the following summer which I booked or issue me a refund. The hotel's staff was unresponsive and displayed terrible customer service. Unfortunately, they have lost my business.

The hotel is in a great location. Though the hotel decor is dated- it is very clean and well kept! Service was wonderful and the views were spectacular from our suite. Breakfast is Ok and the dining room on the third floor was awful for dinner despite the view. The waitstaff were wonderful though. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

A must visit islands. Incredible scenery and amazing food experience. Amalfi is a bit crowded but we still enjoyed a lot. Capri is beautiful and w enjoyed the boat trip and the chair lift. The view of the island from the chair lift and the top of the mountain is breathtaking

Ravello is magical and the Hotel Rufolo was the icing on the cake. It was recommended by a friend and we recommend it to our friends. They helped me arrange transport and last minute travel plans. Helplul and friendly staff, patient with our almost complete lack of Italian. We woke up to amazing sunrises every morning.

A great little boutique hotel with a great location next to the Villa Rufolo, and a lovely view of the ocean (when it was not raining). Breakfast had a good selection although we were not fond of having a press the button cappuccino (vending machine type). The folks at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Only issue was when it dropped into the 50’s and the room became quite chilly, heating was sporadic and had to be turned on by the hotel—no in room controls that worked until the hotel turned it on. We were hiking in the pouring rain every day and were pretty cold.
