Most probably the best hotel in Reykjavik, modern, new, everything in great condition and with a great location. That being said it is a very expensive hotel even for Icelandic standards. So let me start with the highlights of this hotel: - Very comfortable and great materials condition. - AC with individual room adjustable temperature is a great plus for Iceland. - I got the basic room and it felt big enough, modern and super clean. The bathroom was also big but there was no bathtub unfortunately. Great comfortable bed and sheets. - Le Labo bath products are truly amazing. One of the best I ever tried! I also appreciated that for ecologic reasons they weren't in non reusable small plastic bottles. - The rooms are silent and relaxing. I would change the black TV furniture as black always highlight the dust on it.. even when the room is nicely cleaned. - The breakfast is big and overall with good quality. But daily variation should be bigger. - The location is perfect to stroll along the shops and walking distance to the most important city spots. - The spa is beautiful and very interesting. Probably the most well designed small spa in a city hotel I have ever seen. Complimentary use of the spa is a very nice touch indeed. Although it was a really good expericence in no way this was a perfect stay specially when the price tag is considered: - The hall and corridors cleaning left too much to be desirable. At least at 3rd floor corridor there was dust, earth and stains that remained for the whole 3 night stay. It is strange as the rooms are really well cleaned (maybe it's a different team? maybe someone forgot that the corridors are also to be cleaned?). - The reception. It is always busy and sometimes feels chaotic at the proper hotel entrance. I also felt that some guest were treated differently and with more care. I got no welcome drink or even the suggestion to leave the bags. That's ok for me but then I realized the guest next to me was immediately offered all of this. I mean.. consistency is important at this level. - Hidden fees. Ok maybe it was a misunderstanding but when we arrived we were told that the hotel had valet parking only. But nobody told us the extortion each night of it. At the chekout there it was though. Also in the breakfast there was no specific tag with the champagne price but after I filled a glass with it a waiter quickly send me the bill to sign. I mean it is very bad to mix not included stuff in the buffet. Also every egg besides the scramble had a price tag. I mean for almost 700 euros a night is it reasonable to charge for a egg toast?. - The room curtains. Beautifull but totally off for iceland summer status (2-3hours of darkness). Light comes in in every curtain fold so it is impossible to cover it. Every night I woke up several times due to too much outdoor light in the rooms. This should be quickly addressed. It honestly really bothered me. - The spa only opens at 12h00 meaning you cannot use it

Nous avons eu une petite chambre avec 2 lits, une table à manger, une petite couille et un bain. Il y avait tout ce dont on avait besoin, même un balcon. La situation était tout simplement parfaite! Nous pouvions tout passer en un court moment. Les magasins et les bourrages à proximité de la corne, la vue sur la mer devant la porte et le supermarché suivant ne sont même pas à 5 minutes. Si nécessaire, nous essayerons de nous rendre ici :-)

Un hôtel ressemble beaucoup à un B&B. Chaque maison individuelle est une maison chargée d’histoire et de culture. Il y a une cuisine séparée, équipée de couverts et d'assaisonnements simples. Si vous restez longtemps, vous pourrez cuisiner quelques repas. À côté du centre-ville, les transports sont très pratiques. Vous pouvez télécharger l'application de l'hôtel et effectuer votre enregistrement et votre départ directement, vous n'avez donc pas besoin de vous rendre manuellement à la réception.

La façade est très petite, il n'y a presque pas de façade, dès que vous entrez dans la porte il y a un escalier. Au deuxième étage se trouve un bar et un restaurant, où vous pouvez manger, et la réception est également là. Les bagages peuvent être entreposés gratuitement au deuxième étage, mais il s'agit d'une boîte de rangement dans le salon sans serrure. Peut-être que le patron pense que personne ne le prendra. Les troisième et quatrième étages sont des lieux de séjour, et il y a de nombreuses salles de bains et toilettes à chaque étage. Il n'y a pas de salle de bain et de toilettes dans la chambre. Il y a aussi deux machines à laver au quatrième étage. Le coût est d'environ deux ou trois euros par fois. Il y a des armoires dans chaque pièce, mais il n'y a pas de serrures. Il y a peu de prises dans la chambre et chaque lit n'a qu'une lampe, mais pas de prise. Fondamentalement, il y a une petite table dans la salle. Au moment du départ, sortez les taies d'oreiller, les draps et les draps dans le sac de recyclage du couloir. A chaque étage des troisième et quatrième étages, il y a des cuisines avec casseroles et poêles complètes, réfrigérateurs, etc., pour cuisiner. Il n'y a pas de shampoing gel douche, mais il y a des serviettes en papier à volonté. Je n'ai pas trouvé de sèche-cheveux, mais je n'ai pas demandé non plus. Les fenêtres du couloir permettent de voir directement la mer. Bien que le bar du deuxième étage soit très bruyant la nuit, l'insonorisation de la salle est bonne, et ce n'est pas du tout audible. De plus, Ctrip a déclaré qu'il paierait les taxes et les frais au magasin, mais le patron n'a rien dit à ce sujet. Dans l'ensemble c'est plutôt bien, laissant une somme d'argent pour moi en Islande.

Location parfaite dans une zone sûre, à pied. Près de Braud & Co pour pâturages et café. Deux blocs de Sandholt pour petit déjeuner et pâturages. 5 minutes à pied à Hallgrimskirkja. La chambre était petite mais confortable. La chambre est très confortable, la chambre est très confortable et confortable. Il y avait une bataille dans la rue avec plusieurs boissons, mais nous fermions la fenêtre et le bruit était minimal.

L'expérience de cet hôtel depuis 2 jours a été remarquable par le récepteur de bureau frontal, Farooq, qui sans hésiter et parfait attitude peut-être a aidé à récupérer mon téléphone cellulaire erroné avec la compagnie d'autobus Tour Island qui vient de nous quitter . Les personnes comme Farooq peuvent continuer à faire preuve de grande expérience de voyage.

This one is somewhat tough to review. Service was 1-star. We received no instructions to enter and had to spend a fair amount of time on the phone (at costly international rates) to receive instructions. The instructions we received were not detailed enough. They did not mention entering through the restaurant to get to the first-floor rooms. Rooms on the second floor do not have to do this. The room itself was okay to decent. The kitchenette was nice, but the dishes were in the dishwasher when we arrived. The room lacked commonplace security features like an interior deadbolt, security chain, or a peephole. Combined with the strange way to enter the ”hotel” this made us feel uneasy. The fact that this hotel is not staffed and entry is through code would have been fine if detailed instructions were provided. Plenty of AirBnBs do this well. For the price, this would be much better value if they had better customer service and detailed instructions along with some additional security features. As it is I wouldn't recommend.

Pas de petit-déjeuner, l'hôtel est situé sur la route principale de la ville de Reykjavik, mangez 24 heures en dessous du supermarché, les cochons roses sont très proches. La chambre sur la route sera bien entendu très bruyante. Il se trouve également à 10 minutes à pied de la cathédrale. Il y a des ustensiles de cuisine dans la chambre, et c'est très pratique pour cuisiner sa propre pizza. La réception était très enthousiaste et tous les deux souriaient les deux jours. Le lit king-size, les remarques avec les enfants, a ajouté un lit d'environ 1,2 mètre, et un grand lit d'environ 2 mètres. Assez pour 4 personnes. Impressionnant

The location of the hotel is great. There is a great bar downstairs that supposedly has live music every night. The hotel is very safe, a password is required to enter at night. The hotel staff are nice and the rooms are clean.

I’m trying to write a balanced review … so here goes … Benefits: Location Clean rooms L’OR coffee machine … but there is a but later on …. Nice chocolate offered on check in but just slapped into my hand! 2 x bottles of water offered again just dumped into my hand no here we are complementary snacks and water on behalf of Canopy Hilton … I found this level of service not good. Set backs: Diamond member - remember a serious amount of money spent at Hilton brand hotels and extreme loyalty to the Hilton brand - No upgrade offered, but suites still Showing on Hilton app for entire stay and on booking.com Canopy Hilton might have shown the same commitment back to top tier members loyalty and in-fact a poor attitude and extremely lacking in customer service on front desk I would say 8/10 times during stay. No milk for L’OR coffee machine only creamer!! No milk for tea in room Poor bathroom amenities no shower cap, no toothbrushes, no razors etc had to ask not great! Housekeeping said they had none … asked at front desk and the Hilton colleague opened a draw full of amenities!!! Making guests go down to reception to beg instead of just providing in room!!! Demonstrates Poor customer service. Then to be told we may not have orange socks or shower caps we may have run out … surely at a top rated brand hotel there is stock take and orders are placed in a timely fashion! Not impressive from Canopy Hilton at all. No orange socks in room, but left bathrobes again poor customer service. No welcome to Canopy Hilton thank you for being a diamond member …. Again poor customer service not recognizing loyalty. No executive lounge - no drinks vouchers given to diamond members as in other Hiltons - seems mean and lacking in customer service. All in all as a diamond member felt a little let down after really looking forward to my trip especially at this brand of Hilton in a great location. Feels run by people who either haven’t been trained adequately, they have no commitment to the Hilton brand or simply just have no idea about hospitality.
