Myself and family stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a family wedding close by. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The owner was very accommodating for my family, especially for my grandmother who is disabled and provided a chair for the shower and also non-slip bath mat. The rooms were very spacious and cosy. The kitchen staff were very friendly and welcoming and the full English breakfast is highly recommended but also the continental breakfast has plenty of choice (toast, cereal, cereal bars, fruit, yoghurts, pastries) . House keeping came in the morning and replaced towels and tidied round. Nice surroundings and quiet area. This hotel is great value for money and overall was a good experience for us all.

Always stay at this hotel when visiting family the staff are very friendly the rooms are very clean and well equipped the food is excellent best pizza and salt pepper fries car parking is free l would definitely recommend this lovely hotel at affordable prices

We've just refurned from 4 nights at The Avenue, what a brilliant place to stay. The suite gave us (and our preteen) plenty of space to relax AND get ready for a family wedding nearby. Food in the restaurant was delicious (we had pizzas & burgers one night, then breakfast, a roast and evening snacks on the Sunday) and very well priced. Although we faced onto a road, the fact that this is a gated community meant that it was peaceful and quiet, and for a Bank Holoday weekend we didn't have any disruptive noise from the bar (even better that the rooms are in a separate wing). We elected for the paid cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was lovely, and took up one of the Continental breakfasts included in the price - it was fairly basic but suited our needs. The other 2 mornings we popped to the Coffee Shop across the car park for a delicious well priced cooked option. Adequate parking, a night door (handy if you're staying whilst attending an event nearby). Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed our daughter was sleeping on. Due to the Bank Holiday and the timings when we were using our room, we didn't see housekeeping but managed to get extra towels and other items as needed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Absolutely would stay again if in the area and will recommend to others.

The Hotel was clean.Set in beautiful countryside. The room was equipped with everything you require for an overnight stay,bed comfortable there was not really anything we could fault . Staff were welcoming and friendly. We were attending a family Wedding this Hotel fit the bill perfectly .

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were informative too. Bar prices were good, not usual hotel " rip off" prices. The shower was hot and powerful complimentary toiletries were welcomed. Continental breakfast was lovely too. Thank you.

We recently visited the UK and stayed at the Avenue, in one of it's suites, for 10 nights on our family trip. With our flights arriving late into Manchester, we were really grateful that a team member at the hotel was there to greet us at 12:30am and to make sure we had everything we need on our arrival. The room was nice and spotless clean and became a great base for our trip. Down stairs there is a fantastic bar/restaurant/meeting place and we enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings. The bar area has a great mix of hotel guests and local community members, which makes it a fun hub of activity and an opportunity to meet folk from the local area. There's a great atmosphere in there and the Sunday roast is highly recommended. The staff were excellent from our check-in to departure, assisting with any requests we had, and helped us store our luggage when we ventured further a field for the weekend. There's a nice relaxed vibe from the entire hotel crew and we really appreciated their accommodations throughout the stay. Located in the Ribble Valley there's lots to do within a short drive and I'd almost forgotten how beautiful the neighboring area is. There's plenty of additional great places close buy to eat or enjoy a drink when you venture out and we'll absolutely be back on our next trip. I'd 100% recommend the Avenue for either a short or longer stay in the Ribble Valley and we can't wait to return next summer! Thanks

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The hotel is small, quiet and lovely with comfortable, modern and clean rooms. We opted for the continental breakfast which is included. It is quite basic (don't expect pastries!) but there was plenty choice. My only disappointment was that it was instant sachet coffee at breakfast rather than a filter coffee machine. Really feel this is something they could add without costing them much money. There is a coffee shop less than a hundred yards away luckily so I did get my morning coffee fix! Overall we enjoyed our stay and found it good value for money

Family outing to celebrate GranJan’s birthday. We enjoyed a very yummy meal of Pizzas and Tapas and found the menu both interesting and tasty with plenty of vegetarian choices. We ordered a mixture of dishes and we were not disappointed with the taste, textures and presentation. Well done to both the kitchen and serving staff as they covered both the diners and a private function.
