L'hôtel n'est pas si mauvais, à 600 m de la plage, mais le personnel est le plus désagréable que j'aie jamais rencontré ! Un air conditionné non fonctionnel (à plus de 30 degrés de température extérieure) et un couvert de toilette vide que j'ai signalé à la réception depuis 2.Tag n'ont pas été offerts jusqu'à notre départ mais il y avait aussi une autre chambre. défauts plus importants! Je suis habitué à Mercure un autre type d'hôtels et aussi personnel!!!! De la qualité, de la sélection et de la présentation du petit déjeuner's je ne veux pas parler! Que personne n'est devenu malade encore me surprenant! S****** et fromage sont sur les plaques et le beurre est presque liquide

Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene: dal personale super gentile, alle camere pulite e ben arredate con TV schermo piatto e bagno abbastanza spazioso. La struttura sia internamente, quindi hall, sia esternamente piscina e zona breakfast sono ben curate. Anche se abbiamo soggiornato solo per una notte ci siamo rilassati e l'atmosfera mi ha dato un senso di pace e tranquillità. Altro aspetto positivo è l'ampio parcheggio gratuito disponibile. La colazione è a buffet: il cappuccino è ottimo! L'unica nota per così dire negativa è la distanza dalla spiaggia di 2.5 km, noi ci siamo spostati in macchina e non abbiamo faticato a trovare parcheggio gratuito fronte spiaggia, in ragione del fatto che siamo partiti in settimana.

There is one tiny old elevator that acts up often. The hotel is very close to the beach. Be aware of the so-called 'customer service.' I hope the below tips will be helpful: 1. The hotel works with the private beach, Principe. It's not the hotel's owned beach that we are used to in the Caribbean. We didn't know that. Upon arriving at the hotel, we asked the front desk about the beach. The front desk employee told us the lounge chairs and umbrella cost 85 Euros daily. We were stunned at how high the price was. Seeing our shocked expression, the employee said she would talk with the Principe 'beach manager' and see what she could do. After talking with the 'beach manager,' she announced that she got a great deal for us, 75 Euros a day. At the beach, we were told that 75 Euros didn't include the towels and we could get them at an additional cost. The beachgoers told us Principe Beach charged 75 Euros. 2. In the evening, we asked another front desk employee to recommend an authentic Italian restaurant nearby. She suggested Pietrasanta. She made a reservation and booked a taxi for us. Knowing that there is no UBER in Italy and taxis are limited, especially in the evening, I asked if it makes sense to book a return taxi. She said she is from Pietrasanta and taxis are not a problem; either the restaurant will call a taxi, or we will find it at the main square. She was right about the restaurant (Pinnochio) and the town. It's a great place to spend an evening, with many good, reasonably priced authentic restaurants in a charming old town. However, there were no taxis. The restaurant called six taxi companies, all booked for the evening. We went to the main square, but there were no taxis. A shopkeeper in the main square said there were never available taxis at the taxi stand at this hour and this time of the year. We called Acapulco Hotel, hoping that we would get help. The night shift front desk attendant told us he could call a taxi from Forte dei Marmi, but we would pay double the price. I asked for help calling Pietrasanta taxi companies as some drivers don't speak good English. He gave me a number of a taxi company in Pietrasanta and told me to call myself. We called the number he provided, but the taxi company was fully booked. We spent more than an hour googling and calling Pietrasanta taxi companies until one taxi driver squeezed us in for a short ride to Forte dei Marmi (6km). At some point, we thought we would spend the night in Pietrasanta's main square. Some local shopkeepers tried to help by calling taxi companies for us. However, our hotel's front desk, whose job is to provide customer service, didn't bother to help. This is very unusual for Italy. Après avoir séjourner au Président et au De Russie (autres hôtels sur le bord de mer) nous avons fait le choix de nous rendre au Grand Hôtel Royal. Architecture emblématique de Viareggio et du bord de plage. Réservation directe auprès de l'hôtel. Prix correct. Accueil moyen à l'hôtel, aucun mot de français et aucun effort pour se faire comprendre des clients malgré le fait que je sache parler un peu italien. Globalement on a le sentiment que l'hôtel est peu fréquenté par les francophones. Possibilité d'entrer par le portail en voiture pour y déposer les bagages. Parking fermée accessible par code et facturé 15 euros par jour. Possibilité de se stationner dans les rues situées aux abords immédiats de l'hôtel au tarif de 8 euros par jour. L'hôtel se charge de l'opération par Internet.Attention certains jours défense de se stationner cause lavage des rues. Le lieu est chargé d'histoire avec un lobby très vaste, un bar, une salle de réception et surtout un parc arboré exceptionnel avec une grande piscine et transats ouverte de mai à septembre et une cage avec des perruches. L'hôtel est idéal pour accueillir des cérémonies (ex mariage). Beaucoup de choses dans l'hôtel sont d'une époque lointaine comme le mobilier, les ascenseurs qui mériteraient un miroir, mais le sol est magnifique dans les parties communes et dans les chambres. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un surclassement avec une chambre sans balcon (la 412) vue latérale mer. Deux fenêtres (dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain). Hauts plafonds, literie correcte avec draps (pas de couette). Salle de bain avec toilettes et bidet. A noter la propreté irréprochable des lieux. Insonorisation pas top notamment porte de chambre peu épaisse. Coffre fort suffisamment grand pour accueillir un ordinateur portable. Une table ronde et fauteuil. Produits de soin individuels. Une boîte en fer accrochée au mûr pour les mouchoirs en papier mais boîte vide tout au long de notre séjour. Un fil à linge dans salle de bain mais trop court pour être accroché. Douche correcte mais robinetterie ancienne aussi impossible de régler correctement l'eau chaude et froide. TV écran plat sur pied qui couvre en partie le miroir accroché dans la chambre. Deux chaînes françaises (TV 5 monde et France 24) mais nombreux dysfonctionnement de la TV qui s'éteint de manière aléatoire. Prises de courant en nombre insuffisant. WIFI gratuite et rapide avec code. Bouilloire avec sachets de thé, tisane et café soluble. Rideau de la chambre déchiré. Volet roulant. Petit déjeuner médiocre. Buffet mais impossible de se servir compte tenu de la crise sanitaire. Barbara, souriante et efficace, se charge de nous donner ce que l'on souhaite. Les produits proposés sont de qualité très moyenne : jus de fruits industriels, œufs brouillés industriels aussi et en lus froids, salade de fruit moyenne, café trop fort, charcuterie moyenne. Excellent hotel, location and service - Italian luxury at its finest. The room was clean and quiet, the towels, toiletries and linens were great quality. The on-site restaurant, bar and gym made the stay even better. Do not miss the breakfast! Their beach club was also very nice, clean, great service. We ordered lunch, wine and cocktails. We used the bicycles to go around town and everything was close by. Highly recommend and will be back!

Bonjour j ai passé un séjour du 20 mai au 2 juin 2023 avec 23 autres personnes( c était un groupe ) Hôtel bien situé en face de la mer. Pas trop gros ce qui est parfait pour mes groupes Hôtel qui a besoin d un grand rafraichissement , la chambre que nous avions n avait même pas de commode pour mettre nos vêtements . Quand vous y passez presque 2 semaines c est tres incommodant . Les tapis dans les escaliers n auraient surement pas passé le test avec le service sanitaire , ils étaient dégueulasse .J avais fait une demande pour avoir plus de chambres avec balcon et cela m a été refusée quand l hôtel était presque vide . En plus j était prête a payer . Nous avons demandé qu ils partent l air climatisé encore la non pas avant le 1er juin En passant le 1er juin elle ne fonctionnait pas Lits pour nous étaient confortables ainsi que la literie. Ménage toujours bien fait Accueil bien par Elton mais, il n est pas toujours d humeur égale avec les gens Marco qui je crois est le gérant , beaucoup de difficulté a sourire mais j y suis arrivée lol Nous avions 2 repas par jour ( petit déjeuner et dîner ) avec un quart de litre de vin par personne. Déjeuner le café était tres passable , en fait je ne suis même pas certaine que c était du vrai café .J ai dû demander pour avoir un grille pain car il ne voulait pas le faire fonctionner J ai demandé pour des oeufs a la coque ce fût un non catégorique . Le dîner 2 choix de repas pates en entrée ou potage , poisson porc ou veau avec des légumes trop cuits Comme dessert toujours la même chose un flanc Un petit bar à salade mais toujours la même chose salade. carottes rapés ,betteraves . mais en canne J ai fait 3 demandes de repas et ils ont accepté de nous les faire c était bon Les employés en salle a manger gentils surtout Maurissio qui veut essayer de nous plaire Est ce que j y retournerais ,non surtout pas avec un groupe

Very nice hotel. Great location. Walkable from train station. Breakfast was amazing and very hospitable. We stayed in premium room, ocean facing with gallery and view was amazing. Weather was comfortable to walk on the beach and shopping area along the beach is very nice!
