The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is located in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto and there are at least a dozen (probably more!) kosher restaurants on the same block. The Great Synagogue and Jewish Museum are a 2 minute walk and many of the major tourist attractions are within walking distance. The staff was also exceptionally nice, responsive and helpful. The property is comprised of 3 units. The first unit is on up one flight of steps. The second unit is up a second flight of steps and the apartment/suite is on the 3rd and 4th floors. So if you have knee issues or heavy suitcases, be advised that there are up to 4 steep staircases to climb and this may not be the right property for you. With just a few tweaks, this property could have been much improved. We occupied 2 units - a double room on the second floor and the suite. In the double room, the lighting was exceptionally dim. Although there were lamps hanging next to the bed, they did not shine over the beds and could not be used for reading. I found the bed to be very firm and not particularly comfortable. The only storage area in the room was an open unit that could really only be used for hanging clothes. And the unit had a motion-activated light that was very sensitive and would go off in the middle of the night if you got up to use the bathroom. There was a couch in the room that was covered by a slip cover because the actual couch was in awful condition and needs to be replaced. The suite was more inviting. The main floor has a dining table, a sitting area and a tiny kitchen. The bedroom has 2 beds in it - a queen and a single and the bathroom adjoins the bedroom on the top floor. The ceiling in the bedroom is low (especially over the single bed) but the bathroom is in good condition and well-maintained. I also wish we had been given more than 1 key per room. As there were 5 of us in our party, we often parted ways and had to decide which one of us would be the first to arrive back so no one would get locked out of the unit.
