A wonderful surprise. The dark green room was super cute and super clean. Nice sized with everything we needed (except no ice!). Responsive A/C. It looks like it's an owner-occupied place with an entire house on one side and rooms on the other. Some rooms may have had permanent residents. Quiet. It looked iffy on the outside. It's been in operation for a long time. Our room was recently updated. There wasn't a lot of room on the toilet, but room everywhere else. Very reasonable rate. It was a nice surprise because we'd stayed at other places on the trip that cost more than twice as much for half the value. We would stay there again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE USING ******* OR ***********!!! In fact, do not stay here at all. This place will allow you to book using an online site but I recommend you don’t waste your time or money. They refused to honor the online booking we had prepaid for, citing the loss of revenue due to the commission charged by these online sites. As we had arrived late in the evening and were exhausted, we did as the Front Desk person had said: PAID AGAIN AT A SLIGHTLY HIGHER RATE THAN GUARANTEED BY *******!! This person also stated that he couldn’t honor the ******* booking lest he get fired by the owner and that once ******* called the front desk he would confirm we’d paid him directly. Two days after I requested my refund, ******* processed it. Further, our room smelled musty and of years of stale cigarette smoke. We kept the air conditioning going all night to combat that. Bed was okay and I’m sure the room is serviceable if you’re in a real pinch but we will never recommend this place to anyone based on our experience. We suggest you drive on. This is a small owner run motel. Very friendly proprietor. Basic room, but most of all it is clean. Value for the price. Very quiet. The only drawback is that the room smelled of old smoke even though it is non smoking motel. I’m sure this older building was smoked it considerably and remediations not have been done to the room to eliminate the smell.

I arrived under the weather just being out of the hospital for a week and using some new meds. The owners were very helpful in even carrying in my luggage. There was no delivery for food at the time the owners called and ordered food for me and went and got it and brought it back for me. As I was not feeling well they ask if they could physically check on me which they did. I had a very great nights sleep. The room was clean and well taken care of. The adjustable bed was just what I needed as I was having trouble breathing. I am always looking for a reasonable place to stay as I make the trip from Iowa to Montana several times a year. I CAN SAY I FELT THESE PEOPLE CARED MORE AOUT ME THAN THE MONEY. YEP I WILL RETURN.
