Cet hôtel est situé dans une petite rue non loin de la gare et à environ 1.5km du centre historique. Nous y allons donc à pied le long de la rivière, c'est très rapide et agréable. Notre chambre est très belle avec une salle de bains entièrement rénové avec musique. Nous passons une très agréable nuit, pas de bruit malgré le côté rue, très bonne literie. Le petit déjeuner est complet, service des boissons à table, le reste sous forme de buffet. Nous prenons notre petit déjeuner en extérieur dans le jardin, très agréable. La personne du matin, apparemment la patronne, est très sympathique et parle français. Pour ce qui est des restaurants aux alentours, c'est un peu léger malgré le restaurant que nous avons fait le soir, il padrino. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking à 12.00€. Supplément pour le chien 12.00€

Located in a busy urban area. If you’re looking to have fun and around the city, this is definitely the place for you. The small hotel works really hard to try to cater to their clients. Visiting from Boston and found everyone here to be super friendly and nice. Especially the night watchman Joseph

Comfortable, clean accommodation in a convenient location for the main station and walking distance of Old Town area. Lovely breakfast. The only reason for the "average" rating for service was that a request for extra milk in our room for tea/coffee was forgotten about initially and when repeated the following day took rather a long time to appear. Otherwise the service was excellent.

The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from the main train station, where you could catch trams into the centre. The decor was rather old fashioned. Our room was large with a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but the shower was an old fashioned hand held one, so difficult to use when I wished to wash my hair. Breakfast was quiet with a good variety of food. They said they could keep our luggage for us in the morning, but they did not have a secure place to put the luggage. It was put in a corridor next to the reception area.

The loveliest hotel in that area of Salzburg, very friendly staff and great hearty breakfast everyday! The rooms where impecable and renovated and si spacious. The sound of music movie plays on channel 100 all day every day🥹! The views from the room were fantastic and the AC worked so well after a hot day in the city. We’ll be back for sure :)! Danke!

Check in was lengthy as one needed to fill out a form even though all the information had been provided on line in response to the hotel’s request for us to provide. Our room was quiet, with a very comfortable bed, and a newly refurbished bathroom. Unfortunately, when we needed to use the WC brush, it was disgusting, not something I would expect in a hotel of this grade. Breakfast had good choices and was tasty. We were provided with 2 small milk cartons in the room, alongside some tea and coffee sachets. When we asked for some additional milk cartons so we could have a second cup of tea, we were given a lengthy ‘lecture’ that these are complimentary and therefore we should not expect more. Was quite dumbfounded at this response, this being the 4th hotel on our trip, with no such issue experienced in the other hotels who were 3 star hotels. When leaving the hotel you had to leave your key with reception. However, when returning, staff didn’t always check who we were, simply handing the key to us, so any one could just ask for the key - not very secure. The hotel location was very good, easily reached on foot from the train station, and the old town was only 15 minutes walk away.

The front staff were not the friendliest, we had a hard time communicating and the check-in process was long and drawn out, even after I passed on all the information through booking ahead of time. The room was cramped, had an unnecessarily large table. The breakfast was quite good.

Not a 4 star experience for sure! There was supposed to be 24/7 reception, but we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to let us in at 9:00. And then the buffet breakfast was all packed away, when it was supposed to be there until 10 o'clock. Not a single sorry was said. Unacceptable. The next day we had breakfast at 9:20, and after 9:30, the staff already started to pack away the food. Not a nice experience for sure! And then to top it off, they wanted us to pay the whole sum at checking out, when we clearly paid it upfront. Some good points: we were allowed to bring our puppy for 12 EUR/night and when there was, the breakfast was good.
