Votsalakia Hotel

Very cosy, nice hotel. Not luxurious, but more than satisfactory. Very friendly staff, from the receptionists to the cleaning lady to the generator! Always a friendly smile, and very helpful. The room was very nice; perfect size, air condition and a small kitchen area. Nice pool area, and the beach only a few meters away. If you want lunch, you can order from the beach bar/taverna, and they will bring it to you if you prefer to eat by the pool. I will definitely visit again!

This hotel is getting two stars out of five only because of the location. The hotel by itself is not more than one star and let me tell you why. The rooms are outdated and wasn’t even properly cleaned when we arrived. The push button on the toilet was broken and so was the TV our entire trip. We mentioned it to the reception who first told us they were looking into it but when we reminded them they gave some lame excuse instead. The staff is alright but doesn’t do anything extra at all. There’s air condition for 10 euro/day and the safety key also cost extra. The beds are super hard and so is the pillows. It’s two small beds pushed together not a master bed. On top of that the room isn’t soundproofed at all so you can hear everything that is going on in the corridor. I haven’t slept this bad in my entire life really. The breakfast is super simple. It works but we really missed some kind of fruit, the only vegetables/fruit they had was cucumber and tomato. The dinner however, we tried to eat it the first day but left and never came back. First of all you don’t get to choose what to eat. They serve you whats for dinner that day and don’t even tell you what it is. One of us has allergies and when we asked they didn’t understand the question first. The food was… well, not tasty at all and we’re not even that picky. I highly recommend to eat dinner in the town instead, there’s some really nice spots with fantastic staff and food! On the positive note, the hotel is really nice located and you can get sun beds on the beach by ordering something for minimum 5 euros by the always lovely staff at Votsalakia Beach Bar. With that said, we loved the town and the beach but would highly recommend to stay somewhere else. This hotel really need to focus on some renovations.

Great hotel, great personel, always friendly and helps you whenever you have questions. All in all great week. Their deluxe room is just what you need in a week. The food is great and has a lot of diversity. Location is great aswell it is close to the beach Greetings, The lucky ones 😉

The hotel is in a good location in the middle of Votsalakia, and the cleaning of the room is good. But the beds are so hard that you can't sleep on the side and the breakfast is boring and unhealthy..

Best location on Kanpos, Votsalakia beach. Panos the reception manager and his wife, the owner of the hotel and the other staff do everything to help you out and have a pleasant stay. Free sunbeds at the beach. We stayed in room 502 which had the best beach and sea view and a big balcony with lots of shade which you need when you want to enjoy the balcony in summer! Will come back here! Comfy beds and a very new luxurious bathroom! The room is big and only a few steps from the beach and bars and restaurants. The restaurant from the hotel has great views and food. Next door you will find Evi’s bar with the best coffee and sandwiches! Try the Club Sandwich and the frappé! A warm welcome from Pannos and Evi everytime!

Had a nice, relaxed beautiful stay here. This is the best /beach/location of the island in my opinion. Nice quiet hotel with friendly helpful personnel (especially at and around the bar). Beautiful beach and view. Hotel is relaxed and quiet but more than enough good restaurants and bars nearby to explore. Recommended! Points that could be improved (but certainly didn't make my vacation less fun): - The shower/toilet was a bit flimsy (but clean). - The breakfast and pension dinner is shall we say...basic.

Hotel położony w pięknej scenerii. Hotel w pięknym ogrodzie. Śniadania optymalne, kolacje dobre i można się najeść. Personel uprzejmy . Pokoje w stylu kolonialnym, łazienki do remontu ale nam to nie przeszkadzało. Sprzątanie codzienne wraz z wymiana pościeli i ręczników. Taras miły gdzie można się zrelaksować. Samos to przepiękna wyspa. Jeszcze wrócimy
