We stayed in this hotel for a short break at the start of June 2023. Hotel is very central for everything in San Antonio Bay and the sunset *****, all within walking distance. On arrival the lady on reception was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. She’d even arranged a little surprise for us in our room on arrival for our anniversary. Room was clean, basic but we had everything that we needed and the maids cleaned it every day whilst we were there. I asked for an extra pillow as I have a back problem and it was there within the hour, we forgot to bring our plug socket converter so the receptionist loaned us one, nothing was a problem and we were very happy…..until the last day! The evening before we were due to return home we asked reception if we could leave our luggage and also have a shower later on the next day as we had an evening flight, the lady kindly told us yes we have a shower room located at the pool, which we could use to freshen up before our flight home. We went to the beach on our last day and returned to the hotel around 3:30pm to get changed etc. A young man on reception greeted us or should I say not so… he was lazy, unhelpfull, and contradicted EVERYTHING that we were told the evening before, apparently the shower was AT THE POOL and there was no room to change in, we could not use any of their towels - they had none apparently! He then stated to me that this is ‘a free service’ - truth of the matter was it was not a service at all - what we got was a cold shower (we had to wear our swimming costumes) in full view of the other hotel guests at the pool then we had to go into a TOILET next to the pool to dry off and get changed for our flight! First time we have EVER encountered this in Ibiza and we have been visiting the island for over 20 plus years! Young man on reception just did not care, shrugging shoulders, and very unwilling to help! I can see why others are commenting that SOME of the reception staff are difficult with no manners at all! You work in customer service my friend, I strongly suggest you learn how to deal with the public and paying customers! This hotel would have got a 5 star rating from us had it not been for what happened on our final day. Had there been a private room for us to use for 20-30 minutes with a shower we would have been more than happy and so would many other guests we are sure.
