Giving 1 star is being generous for the terrible experience at The Fern Shimoga on May 13th. After a long drive, I walked into a room with a broken AC not cooling properly. It took over 30 minutes and multiple requests for any staff to show up, and the ***ager wouldn't even address the issue. When someone finally came to the room, instead of fixing the AC they just turned up the temperature even higher! I requested a room change and had to relocate my entire family with 2 young kids into the hallway with our luggage during this chaos. Absolutely unacceptable service from start to finish at a brand like The Fern. This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life and I am de***ding co****sation, though I have little faith it will be properly addressed based on the shockingly poor service we received. Save yourself and stay away from this property!

Very neatly maintained property. Breakfast & ambience was very good. Service is very good.. Staff persons are very polite. Only thing is we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights & mentioned non smoking rooms but they provided one smoking room ,still we ***aged with that.

PROS: Ecofriendly Clean Hot water round the clock Prompt response when problems arise Free WiFi CONS: Quite far from the centre of the city Concierge not helpful when guiding people who drive down to the hotel Huge let down was the breakfast spread -bad ; waiters took forever to bring basic items to the table such as fried eggs Fitness center was not functioning No grocery shop near by to visit No travel desk - no guidance on local tourist spots Even if the room charges are for 3 people , the amenities kept such as towels or soaps is for one occupant

The hotel was excellent!!!! The ambience ..the staff ..the service...the food...room maintanance...everything just superb!!!! We went during divali time..enjoyed the Puja time too in the hotel. Met Mr Harsha and his father!!! I recommend this hotel for everyone..I dint find this as expensive!!!

House keeping was rlly gud with laboni responding very quickly and clean rooms and everything done harsha the fern staff are really friendly. We will come aging. SWIMMING POOL NICE, view nice. . .......................... thank you harsha team. .

Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean as well. Breakfast buffet was good. Parking in basement. Ample four wheeler parking space available. Staff were courteous. Well maintained property. Property located near the main road

Stayed in 405 for 2 days, view was nice from the window, restaurant was nice as well. Bar view also good. And thanks to reh***, Vishal, vinay, gulam and all the service staff for the lovely service. Chef Dinesh was very friendly. M coming soon

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant, thanks to the helpful ***ager and IT staff. Reception was responsive. While some service staff could improve, the restaurant service was exceptional, offering delicious food. Amazing views, comfortable rooms and a convenient location added to the experience.
