Whilst an unusual and eye-catching colour this was a really interesting and quirky hotel, with a very heavy and ornate wooded interior. Parking was secure and above ground, with plenty of spaces, although a small charge. Rooms were decent and a good size, with OK views Breakfast was the usual continental buffet style, with options for everyone Also a nice relaxing bar area in the lobby which opened til late Five min walk to several nice restaurants and also a supermarket. Would highly recommend !

Beautiful structure, very characteristic with beautiful wooden interiors and many paintings that recall the past Saxon life. Comfortable and spacious room. The only complaint was the TV, small and with just 30 channels. Shower cabin to be reviewed, water comes out of the bottom while taking a shower. However, the room was full comfort and very warm. Exceptional breakfast with everything and more.

Very nice hotel in the centre of old town. It looks like an older inn, but it has all the cobfort you need in a modern hotel. Cozy rooms, spitless clean bathroom, nice lobby, bar, good breakfast. Recomand if you want to visit the olt town!

Really nice hotel and personnel. Good service and breakfast. The restaurant in itself it is not so good and has very few selections. Every meal does not feel refined for the number of stars it has and contains relatively cheap ingredients eg cheap bacon in a heavy salat. I think rooms need a bit of renovation.

Hotel with a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the old town. Excellent free private parking. Reception staff efficient but a little distant and indifferent. Fairly sized room, rustic decor but comfortable bed. Bar with terrace.Very weak drink offer.Almost only beer. Weak breakfast without much variety. In short, reasonable hotel. Good value for money

Stayed here for 1 night. Travelling as familly, booked 2 rooms (junior suite) since January, 7 months in adcance. One of the rooms was good, but the other(room 304) had a strong smell from the very entrance. There was also a room deodorant, which means the staff knew about the problem since in the other room there wasn't. We found the issue was in the bathroom, like all the city sewage was passing through our bathroom. WE've raised the issue at the reception and the lady said "I believe you, but we are fully booked. Unfortunatelly there is nothing I can do." We had to leave te fan over the night, hoping it might keep the smell out of the room. Didn't receive any discout whatsoever. Avoid room 304!

Nice stay. We had cookies and wine as complementary on the room. Nevertheless, I think it is best to visit in summer. The heating system was so slow that we fell asleep late in the night. Blankets were for summer and we didn’t have the right pyjama. Breakfast was ok. Parking lot big. Room charming.
