Hotel Jagdschloss Resort

What a wonderful stay. Accomodation was very clean and very modern in the 3 Seen Haus, which is one of the buildings - there are at least 4 with accomodation, ranging from the main hotel to the a smaller older building, to the modern 3 Seen Haus, which is also wonderful. If you don't like walking across a road for breakfast, stay in the main building. both Seen Haus and the main building had saunas - which are really lovely and really fun after a hard days skiing. We ( 4 lads, all early 50s ) drank in the bar a few times - very nice, smarter than some of the surrounding options. We ate in the restaurant and because it was my birthday they gave me a small present and a cake - they were superbly friendly and really lovely, we felt very well looked after. I think the only negative is that its a small walk up to town up a hill, but its really no problem and the tradeoff is the proximity to the gondola and the chair lifts. The skiing was amazing, there is plenty and lots of safe off piste for us boarders, really fun to seek out the powder, of which we had a good amount. I echo other reviews - its all red, really, so don't go there is inexperienced. and if its icy, as it would be a fair amount, be ready to go fast. The sun only hits one side of the valley ( in January ), so there is a fair bit of white out but you just stay on the sunny side of the street if that bothers you. we had a mix of weather and skiied through it all. Its big enough but small enough to get home in one run anytime. I really could not recommend Kuhtai more for a weekend skiing ( also spend a day in Ochsengarden - you'll enjoy the other resort and its a short bus ride away ) and staying at Jagdschloss and being looked after by the front of house, bar, restaurant and general staff so well made it wunderbar. We have stayed many times in Kuhtai and skied passed this quirky “resort” but never actually stayed. We were travelling from Solden so decided to stay overnight to see what Kuhtai was like in March compared to our usual stay pre-Christmas stay in December. Checking into the hotel I was quite excited by how original, warm, cosy and welcoming it looked. Then the receptionist said we were staying in a building across the road at Kuhtaier Hof so initially I was a little disappointed as the hotel looked so lovely. However, we were not disappointed. The room was all newly renovated, beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and it was a lovely touch having a kettle with tea and coffee in the room (not often the case in Austria!) It really is a ski in/ski out hotel and it has a lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy and Aperol spritz. Breakfast in the hotel (where reception was) was lovely – so much choice and very fresh. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel, we ate out at the Dorfstadl about 15 minutes up the hill – a lovely restaurant/bar with fabulous staff and great food and a lovely atmosphere. We were disappointed the hotel bar wasn’t open as it looked so lovely on the website and the hotel restaurant did look very cosy and inviting, but the menu was more than we wanted to pay. The pizza restaurant was also closed sadly. Snow conditions were a little poor for March (which surprised me) and the village in the evening was extremely quiet. Having only stayed in Kuhtai previously in December when the snow is fresh and the start of the ski season, I think we much preferred December when the there’s more atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again as the room and breakfast were perfect and the location is great for skiing, but the staff need to be a little more welcoming and it would be 5* from me.

Wir waren über Ostern und die Woche nach Ostern zu Gast im Jagdschloss. Geniale Lage direkt an der Skipiste. Wir hatten ein Appartement im 3-Seen-Haus mit HP im Haupthaus. Perfekte Kombination, da man ein großes Zimmer mit hervorragender Verpflegung verbindet. Das Zimmer war sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Das moderne Ambiente des Appartements bildet einen sehr gelungenen Kontrast zum historisch-rustikalen Schloss-Stil. Essen und Service sehr gut. Angenehmes Publikum. Wir möchten sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Die Küche hat regelmäßig Open Houses mit vor Ort Verköstigung. Sehr schön gemacht und außergewöhnlich lecker! Die Zimmer sind auch super und alles in allem sehr gemütlich gestaltet. Auch zur Piste kann man theoretisch sogar in 15min laufen.

Wir haben Silvester hier einige Tage genossen. Besonders hervor zu heben ist das sehr freundliche und Service orientierte Team (sogar das Silvester-Dinner konnte ohne Voranmeldung noch möglich gemacht werden) und die vergleichsweise guten Pistenbedingungen in einem bisher schneearmen Winter

Das 3 Seehaus hat eine extrem gute Lage direkt am 3 Seen Lift. Der Skikeller ist sehr schön & praktisch. Die Skischuhe sind morgens trocken & schön warm. Der Skishop direkt daneben bietet alles was benötigt wird. Zu den Wohnungen kommt man bequem zu Fuß oder mit dem Aufzug. Die Wohnungen haben einen tollen Grundriss und sehr gute Möglichkeiten um alles gut verstaut zu bekommen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Piste ist extrem schön. Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen in dieses Skigebiet mit Schneegarantie im April wieder.

Door uitgelopen hike last-minute uitgekomen in Kuhtai - Jagdschloss. Zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan en geholpen door de eigenaar (?). Heerlijk gegeten en nog gebruik gemaakt van de zeer luxe wellness. Alles tot in de pintjes verzorgd. Dank en kom graag nog eens terug op deze bijzondere plek!

Schönes Hotel in top Lage zum Familien Skifahren! Auch beim 2. Besuch wieder uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit neuer leckerer Pizzeria , il castello’ im dazugehörigen 3 Seen Haus Leitung des Hauses und Service absolut zuvorkommend und angenehm!

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für gemütlichen Familien Schiurlaub. Sowohl Halbpension, wie auch hoteleigene Pizzeria waren sehr gut. Gute Weinauswahl. Personal immer sehr zuvorkommend. Waren zum zweiten aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort.
