Not too bad for an overnight stay a little cosmic work needs doing like the carpet and shower needing a spruce up but this doesn’t affect the stay as the bedding is clean and beds comfy maybe could do with a welcome pack on arrival like info on WiFi password etc. I did get confused with the title of b&b tho as breakfast isn’t provided.

Door handle cam off when trying to enter the room. Looking like the room hadn’t been maintained or cleaned for years. Absolutely disgusting! And no refund or contact from the owners. This property shouldn’t be allowed to advertise and should be shut down.

Worst place I've stayed in. No hot water, no towel, no hand soap, filthy carpets, mould in shower and on walls, peeling ceiling, cobwebs, stuff growing in the kettle. I had a cold shower whilst making sure I didn't touch the sides. That place is a health risk. Such a shame as they could do something decent. I can do dated and basic, but not dirty. Get yourselves a couple of cleaners and a decorator. My usual place was booked up but for the same price I get a spotless 1 bed flat with breakfast!

I wasn’t expecting anything other than a basic accommodation. When booking, it said there was a fridge, and a stove in the room. What I got was a microwave, and a grubby toaster and kettle. Unlike other reviews, the bedsheets seemed clean. That’s the only positive! I could deal with the dirty stained carpet. I could deal with dusty picture frames. I could deal with the old cobweb in the corner of the room, and the damp in the wardrobe. ( well a curtain separating an area). Wasn’t very happy that there was only four squares of toilet paper to last me five days! Decided very wisely to sleep, fully clothed, the first night, Woke up in the early hours to find a massive bedbug next to the headboard! Then, on closer inspection I found not one, not two, or even free, but FOUR BED BUGS ON MY PILLOW !! Luckily I hadn’t unpacked my clothes, so I just left ! The place needs shutting down or burning down !

Well, I had seen some reviews before arriving, and was expecting a pretty basic place. I arrived, waited patiently for the representative to come and open up my room for me. She then asked if I needed towels… Of course, I need towels… It’s supposed to be a B and B! She then showed me to my hobble for the night. Now, for £40 a night, this is roughly what I expect as a frequent traveller. Clean sheets, TV in room, kettle, and even a toaster! However, no fridge in room, and no stove top as mentioned. Not to worry, and I dealt with that, so I’ll pop to the toilet… 4 squares of the toilet paper left for me, broken soap dispensers, broken towel rail. So, being ex-military, I can deal with most things…. stained carpets, spiders in the corner of the rooms, cobwebs, no toilet paper, dried dead slugs etc . But waking up in the early hours to several Bed begs sharing my pillow was a bit too far ! I wished I could call in an airstrike ! After reading all the posts regarding this place, it is pretty obvious they don’t care about guests. I have now spent double to stay in a comfortable room. Money well spent.

Room 6 was in a bad state. Mould everywhere, spiders and cobwebs everywhere, blind doesn’t cover the window, no lampshade on the lamp, kettle doesn’t fit in sink, no soap in dispenser! Track down to place is potholed. At least it’s quiet as it’s set back from main road

Absolutely shocking!!!! We booked to stay here due to a wedding close by and it was cheapish and convenient. Was not expecting much for £50 but I was at least expecting something clean and basic which this absolutely was not. Safe to say sleeping in the car on the wedding venue car park was by far the best option. 50 quid for a 10 minute stay, what a waste of money. I was scared to sit down incase I caught something and god knows what would have come out the taps if I tried them. At least the spiders seem to enjoy their time there though...... Place absolutely needs closing down!! There's basic and then there's just disgusting

Me and 2 friends stayed here as we were at Blue Dot festival so the location was handy as about 10 mins drive away. There was no visible sign pointing to reception so had to knock on the house then she took me round . The woman could have been more friendly , wasn’t greatly welcoming and didn’t even show us to our room, just gave some directions. We had a family room , was quite small and very basic. Was shocking that there were no towels at all, not even a hand towel and even more shocking that there was no hand soap at all. You basically get a smallish room with a microwave , kettle and fridge, only 2 cups for a family . Worst part of the stay was them sounding the fire alarm in our room twice around 10 mins before our checkout team. This was out of order , we are 3 grown up women who are able to set an alarm and get ourselves up without that horrible noise , shocking . The price isn’t that good for the little you get, advertised as bed and breakfast but no breakfast .

I’ve rated this poor as the hygiene standards were very below an acceptable standard. Shower was unusable as shower head was broken and mould everywhere. Toilet not clean and the bin was full. Bed linen was stained and poor quality especially the pillows . This place is ideal for “white van men” but not for more than a night and not for senior ladies ! Only good point was the free parking and the situation of the property ( dangerous entrance where viewing mirror is missing !) We know it was basic by the price BUT not this basic !!!!!
