We stayed with two young children for 4 nights whilst we attended a wedding in Sofia. The hotel is in a quiet location with parking. The staff on arrival are friendly especially George he made us feel very welcome and helped with our luggage. We stayed in the family room. The room was nice big and spacious. It is in need of a few repairs and upgrades. The sofa is dipped in the middle, the corners of the bathroom are grubby, the bath has jets that need gutting and the door to the balcony is hanging off and doesn’t close properly which is a safety concern. Breakfast is simple and not a lot was out although hot food is made at your request and room service is available. The breakfast staff were lovely. A young man called Alex was very impressive, polite and diligent. Such an asset to the company to have staff like Alex. An incident with the cleaner ruined our time here. We returned to our room to get ready for the wedding that we went to Sofia for to find the cleaners had turned the room upside down. They had pulled the sofa out and the larger lady with short hair yelled at us because there were crumbs from our children eating biscuits. She was very rude and refused to leave so that we could get ready. This made us late for the wedding. And it left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. My husband complained. And it was explained to us that they just want us to keep the room tidy. It was tidy there were just a few biscuit crumbs on the sofa and floor. We paid for house keeping and it was unreasonable of the cleaners to expect to clean already clean rooms. The fact that we were shouted out by the cleaner is outrageous. The lady with the short hair is a liability. You cannot shout and be rude to guests over crumbs on the floor and sofa. I don’t want to penalise the rest of the team for one hostile cleaner. The rest of the staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The outside area is beautiful especially at night. Lots of fairy lights. The staff are easy going and there is a play area in the gardens including a huge trampoline. There is a well which is covered so just beware to watch young children. The pool looks nice but is deep and cold. It would have been nice if it was heated but in September it was too cold to enjoy. Food is good and room service was great. Overall it was a comfortable experience and cost effective.

Upon arrival at the reception we had problems with the prepayment; It was not possible to pay the price without the prepayment already provided, after about 30 minutes it was possible in cash, not the preferred card payment; the employee justified this with a new computer system. The room was not air conditioned upon arrival and was quite warm; the shower does not drain normally and quickly fills up to the brim; The beds are a kind of box spring bed: for me (about 85 kg) the mattress was not comfortable. There was only few toilet paper upon arrival, so I called the reception after it was finished, but after about an hour nothing was delivered - not to be expected for a 4 star hotel! The bathroom fan is a bit noisier than I expected and should usually auto stop after a while (although it was connected to the lamp, it usually happens). The thick curtains easily detach from the suspension when closing, and the small room fridge is much too loud (noticeable at night). When exactly is breakfast should be in the folder (I didn't see it at first glance) I liked the breakfast, the orange juice could be freshly squeezed, there should be milk (and lactose free) next to the muesli, and there should also be gluten free bread, but overall good quality of the products; we didn't try the restaurant for dinner due to the high prices. fitness room: Directly the first machine on the left (for legs) doesn't work and it hasn't changed during the week's stay, although we complained, the note with this information had fallen under the bench, so not visible; but otherwise the hall is in good condition The pool is small and during the stay they closed it, it was soon announced that the pool heating would be repaired: heating at 35 degrees outside air temperature? Incomprehensible! I tried to speak to the manager but he didn't seem interested. After we asked for a discount because the pool wasn't working, at least they took away the note the next day. All in all, this hotel did not overwhelm us and we will not visit it again: high standards and beautiful pictures, but unfortunately no coverage in reality.

Le petit déjeuner était là le matin suivant, mais nous avons pu laisser nos sacs à la réception pendant la journée, nous nous sommes rendus à la rivière Boyana. Séjour du 14 au 18 au 11 étage Chambre vieillotte , fenêtres mal isolées le Vent entrait pas de chauffage branché mais qui ne fonctionne pas Couverture en laine 3 pour avoir chaud . Bruyant du au tournoi international des courses ds le couloir à minuit aucun responsable qui intervient . Petit déjeuner correct sans plus pas de fruits . Café mauvais . Personnel peut accueillant Belle vue , proximité métro , et pas loin de l’aéroport Hôtel qui a besoin d’être rénové. Douche bizarrement construite . Lit non fait pendant le séjour Drap changé la veille du départ Quel intérêt 🤔🤔pas de tapis de sol pour la douche

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Best Western Terminus Hotel in Sofia. What an amazing hotel this is, on the doorstep of a fantastic public transport system. The hotel is around 1 mile away from the downtown area. Don't let that put you off, the tram stop is directly outside the entrance. The room was spacious and had all of the necessities to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The fridge was a really useful addition. The bed was huge in the king room!! The housekeeping staff were great and serviced our room daily. The breakfast was a continental buffet style. Again, this was a great start to the day and was included in our room price. A good selection of hot and cold options. There is no bar area in the hotel however there is a fridge in the reception area where you can purchase alcohol and non alcoholic drinks to take away to consume in your room. All of the staff members that we met were professional in their conduct and were polite, friendly and helpful. We loved the luggage room availability - as we had a late flight, the staff agreed to look after our luggage so that we could enjoy our final day in this beautiful city. The hotel price was an absolute bargain. This alongside the quality accommodation and friendly/helpful staff makes this a great choice of hotel. I would highly recommend and will return here in the future. Don't be put off by previous comments about the area around the hotel. As in any city in the world, you need to be vigilant. We had no issues at all. We found the Bulgarians to be extremely polite and welcoming.

C'est un nouveau concept d'auberge pour Sofia et la Bulgarie. Il est bon d'avoir un lit entièrement raccordé (avec cortina) qui ajoute à la vie privée, lorsque vous partagez une chambre (dorm) avec 4 autres voyageurs. En outre, il y a plusieurs options d'éclairage dans la zone de lit réelle pleine et dime éclairage, Cependant, Le petit déjeuner est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon, il est très bon. Le service de la chambre est très confortable et vous avez une bonne qualité. Il y a deux cuisines différentes à différents niveaux. J'avais prépayé ma réservation, bien que Trip.com, mais la grande majorité des voyageurs utilisent hostelworld.com, qui ne nécessitent qu'un dépôt, avec le paiement restant donné à l'auberge. L'auberge est très proche de la gare principale et de la gare de bus (10 minutes de marche), mais elle est très loin des principales zones touristiques et des sites touristiques de Sofia, qui se situe à environ 45 à 50 mètres. Il y a cependant plusieurs trams et bus pour vous y arriver - peut-être un peu confusion pour la première fois voyageur Sofia.

Nous sommes venus fêter l'anniversaire de ma fille Sofia le week-end dernier. L'hôtel a fait tout son possible pour qu'elle garde un très beau souvenir de son séjour à l'Intercontinental. Bravo et merci notamment à Viktoria à la réception et Ivan le concierge. Les chambres vue Cathédrale ont une vue magnifique, le buffet du petit déjeuner est excellent et le service de l'hôtel irréprochable et au niveau de la chaîne. Je vous recommande de prendre l'option Club Lounge qui coûte 50 euros par chambre (2 pers) et par jour. Cette option comprend petit déjeuner + min-bar offert + tea time + apéritif. nous l'avons prise 1 jour et vraiment cela vaut le coup, les cocktails sont excellents. Très bon restaurant le Floret qui est un bon plan si vous arrivez tard car les autres restaurants dans Sofia ferment à 22h. En conclusion, un sans faute pour ce séjour qui était très important pour moi et attendu par notre famille. Bravo et Merci l'intercontinental Sofia. Florence, Hervé, Sofia et Marine

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans l’hôtel. Il vient d’être reprit par la chaîne Accor/All et revient de loin… très loin. Les Renovations principales ont été faites par contre tout ce qui concerne les finitions dans tous l’hôtel (parties communes et chambres) laissent très clairement à désirer. On est pas au standing attendu d’un 5 étoiles. Le personnel se donne du mal mais je pense que beaucoup étaient là avant la transition et forcément le niveau d’un MGallery n’y est pas encore mais ils sont sur la bonne voie c’est certain. L’hôtel a beaucoup de chambre maison d’accueil pour voyageurs demi-aisées dans un pays de l’Est et ça marche !! La réception est spacieuse est agréable l’espace bar et la réception sont bien distant avec une vue plongeante sur la salle de restauration qui elle aussi a son bar. Le top de l’hôtel est l’espace détente avec sa piscine magnifique et son espace détente salle de repos et sauna/hammam. Le parking est payant compter 10€ par jour. C’est une catastrophe on se gare ou l’on peut a droite de l’hôtel à gauche ou même en sous-sol. Quelque soit le parking il est jonché des vestiges de l’ancien hôtel et des détritus (pas glam du tout et limite voir même inadmissible pour un 5 étoiles). Les chambres sont bien et la literie au top mais sans charme particulier. Ça fait l’affaire honnêtement. Le petit déjeuner est bien il y a ce qu’il faut quelque soit l’heure. Les plats à la carte sont correct. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Attention c’est un peu loin du centre mais le bus est à côté et rejoins le métro (les transports sont au top).

Le transport est très confortable près de l'hôtel, à quelques minutes à pied de la rue commerciale, il y a un supermarché à proximité, dans le quartier résidentiel, la chambre a un parfum mais relativement forte, les installations intérieures sont un peu vieilles, il y a un réfrigérateur, mais un peu douce, l'attitude de service est très bonne, les gens sont très aimables, les problèmes peuvent être résolus très bien.
