Avis : Lamandau House

We had a great stay at Lamandau House. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and the trendy Blok M area. Since it’s a lively neighborhood, there can be some noise at night, but if you’re out and about like we were, we slept through it all. On the downside, we noticed a spider web in the bedroom upon check-in, so housekeeping could be improved. Also, be aware that they charge extra for additional towels, blankets, and pillows—even for the family suite, which is meant for four people as stated by the hotel. We settled the extra charges at checkout. However, we do appreciate that the family suite comes with two bathrooms. That said, the service and staff were great, the place was aesthetically pleasing, and stay was enjoyable. Would recommend it for those looking for a stylish and well-located stay in the area.

Overall, I love my stay at Lamandau house - from the friendly staff and its prime location. Pro: the location is in south jakarta where amazing restaurants (from modern Japanese to street stalls) are abundant, 3 minute ride to the MRT station, the interior design is very homey. Also have to mention that the staff is very communicative and friendly, always ready to clean the room daily and help with luggage. Superb ❤️ Cons: Noise! Because it’s located in such hip place, every weekend there’re lots of youngsters around with their motorbikes - so you can find it very noisy and hard to sleep (although the hotel gave earbuds). Also, in the studio room’s toilet somehow there’s a scent of smoke from outside. I don’t know how… Anyway, if you’re visiting Jakarta to soak the city vibe, then you should stay here — definitely worth every penny. But if you’re only here to sleep, maybe not.

Great service. Design of the house was beautiful. The only downside it was near a busy street. But that’s ok! Staff was super helpful. Just ring the bell and they are out in a second!

Nice rooms, with great bed and shower. The street is indeed noisy in the evening, but the superior room w. king size is facing the calm side so I still had a good sleep. A bit annoying was that the wifi was not so strong with my phone, and I always had to re-enter the password multiple times a day. The outside seating area and cafe downstairs is also very nice, the western food was not that good though and a bit pricy. Overall I would still totally stay again though if I want to be close to Blok M.

Always been my go-to place for healing or staycation in heart of South Jakarta. Located just in front of ayodya park which are SUPER STRATEGIC, just a couple of minutes away from MRT and hip places. My fave room is Taman Menteng room, the room which have the best view in front of ayodya park

My family was staying one night in family room and it was a great experience. We love the room arrangement and interior. At first we didnt expect the sofa bed to be very comfortable but turns out it is indeed. The amenities are also premium quality, and the location is great. Overall worth the price.

The house-hotel is located at a noisy road (up to wee hours in the morning, sounds of cars bikes (they provide ear plugs!!). there is a public lounge/cafe on ground floor that amplify the noise level as teh room is not sound proof at all. Lots of mosquitoes in the room - can't get a decent sleep for 2 nights - eventhough the hotel plugged in a mosquito repellent - didn't work. Toilet bowl not cleaned - poop stains from previous stay was not cleaned. I would not recommend this place.

It was great but we got room that located in front of the park and it was very noisy until 1-2 AM. The motorcycle, hawkers and tahu bulat kept running on the speaker. Suggest to avoid weekend or holiday during your stay here or ask for room that located far inside the hotel.

Reception and breakfast are at Baik Baik Cafe on the grounds. Establish electronic communication with attendant. Free filtered water dispenser. TV House Account Netflix and YouTube via room password. Street of Eats turn right. 3 room suite with balcony.

I have stayed here 2 nights. I’m so impressive. The boutique hotel vibes are so good. Look like Nordic style and the room was very big , clean and excellence service also easy to go anywhere around by walking also reasonable price

Had a very nice experience, the staff were really friendly & amazing. The location was good, lovely park right outside, very accessible. There was so much street food just around the corner! The decor is lovely and makes you feel calm. Beautiful garden and chill area for day time & evening.
