We really enjoyed our stay. The staff met us right at the train platform and walked us to the hotel, which was very convenient and thoughtful after a long journey. The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and you can truly feel the care for guests. After visiting Machu Picchu, even after check-out, we still had plenty of time before our train. The staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lobby, charge our phones, and use the Wi-Fi, which was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is literally at the train station! Very convenient for taking train to Machu Picchu. However this is an eco lodge - 100 years old & it feels like that. There are no amenities to speak of, the onsite restaurant is very limited especially for vegetarian options.  The rooms are  bare with floors & bed that creaks!! (Did I say it’s a century old?) The bathroom is very basic and more like a 2* hotel. Level of furnishings is again basic.  I paid $425 for 1 night & felt badly conned. Definitely not worth that amount.  Service- receptionist & all staff are very warm n friendly so that was really nice.  Cleanliness- very clean hotel.

Le service est très bon, la position est également bonne à distance de l'attraction. Parce que l'hôtel de l'automne nous a mis à jour un lit super super super super. Le matin suivant, nous avons également préparé le petit déjeuner selon le temps. En plus du petit-déjeuner, vous pouvez vous aider à manger des œufs. La réception explique également très patientement où et comment acheter des billets de cheval.

A Very Reliable and Well-Located Base for Machu Picchu My stay at Hotel Pakarina was a very positive experience. It served as an excellent and comfortable base for visiting Machu Picchu. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my stay: · Excellent Location: The hotel is perfectly located. You are within easy walking distance of the bus station to Machu Picchu, the train station, and the central market. Most importantly, there are ample food options and restaurants available right near the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for meals. How to Reach from Airport Cusco Airport to ollantaytambo train station. Taxi charges 35 USD Time: 1.5hrs ollantaytambo train station to Machu Picchu/ aguas calientes train station: 135 USD return tickets, per person. Time: 1.45hrs Aguas calientes train station to hotel is on walk of 500 meters. Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu Bus available: 24 USD return ticket. Time 20min · Helpful and Friendly Owner: A major highlight was the owner. He was exceptionally helpful, offering great advice and guiding us on our tour plans. This local insight was invaluable and made our trip much smoother. · Good Daily Breakfast: The included breakfast was tasty and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. It's also the time when tea and coffee are served, so you can get your caffeine fix before heading out. · Clean and Tidy: Daily cleaning service is provided, and our room was always kept spotless. The hotel feels very well-maintained. · Convenient Currency: As noted, USD is widely accepted in the area at the market rate, which includes settling your bill at the hotel. This makes things very easy for international travelers. Things to Note: · No In-Room Tea/Coffee: Be aware that there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You'll need to wait for the breakfast service or pop out to one of the many nearby cafes if you want a drink outside of those hours.

Merci d'avoir choisi un hôtel. Cet hôtel vous surprendra à coup sûr ! L'emplacement est excellent, à trois à cinq minutes à pied de la gare et de la gare routière. Les environs regorgent de restaurants et de cantines. Dès que vous entrez dans la chambre d'hôtel, vous sentirez un parfum chaud, très hygiénique, pratique et confortable. Le service est superbe. Les Péruviens sont gentils, simples et serviables. Ceux qui ont donné de si mauvaises critiques sont très curieux pour moi. En fait, vous devez également faire attention à être gentil et ouvert d'esprit lorsque vous êtes absent. Lorsque vous êtes en paix, vous vous sentirez à l'aise avec tout le monde. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel !

L'hôtel est bon, fournit le petit déjeuner, l'hôtel est dans le centre, le site est un peu élevé, il faut que les étages de 20-30 soient verticalement et droitement pour arriver, mais c'est également pour cette raison que vous pouvez faire la chaleur de la place centrale de la ville d'eau chaude 😅 à partir de la fenêtre.

Manuel est un hôte super amical! Nous avons eu des jours si beaux à Machu Picchu, nous y avons séjourné pendant 3 nuits. Les chambres sont belles et propres, le petit déjeuner est OK, mais la chose la plus importante est qu'ils vous aideront tout le chemin de votre tour vers le Machu Picchu. Ils ont recommandé un beau guide de tours et de faire de bonnes choses dans la ville

La chambre était propre et confortable, et le gestionnaire était très gentil et utile.
