Hôtels 4 étoiles à Sydney

L'hôtel est super, bien mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Le personnel est très serviable, notamment Mme Lin, qui m'a aidée à réserver un taxi pour l'aéroport et m'a donné des conseils sur les endroits à visiter à Sydney. Le seul point négatif de cet hôtel concerne les toilettes/salle de bain, qui offrent un peu de manque d'intimité.

L'hôtel est situé près de la gare, à 5 minutes à pied. La pièce est propre et bien rangée, confortable et suffisamment éclairée, surtout la nuit. La réception est agréable et serviable. Qui a pris l'initiative de vérifier la possibilité d'un enregistrement anticipé avant 15h00 alors que nous arrivions à l'hôtel vers 13h00.

amazing almost unbeatable facilities! fully equipped unit which really helped us save lots of money by cooking. washer, coffee machine, induction stoves, pots and pans, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, chopping board and knives, cutlery/utensils, fridge with freezer, chiller and veg compartments. they even provide dishwashing powder and laundry powder. smart TV was great as well, beds were comfy. service was super friendly and helpful as well. they even have a pilates studio and a gym in this hotel. we had the best stay in this spacious room and we’ll definitely be back if we ever visit australia again!

L'hôtel était correct, spacieux et bien situé. Le salon et la chambre étaient excellents. Cependant, il est un peu vieillot, et les toilettes sont vétustes. Nous avons trouvé des cafards chaque soir en rentrant, heureusement des espèces lentes et faciles à attraper. J'ai apprécié le programme écologique qui récompense les clients renonçant au service en chambre avec des bons d'achat, mais ces bons sont peu utiles, surtout vu le petit-déjeuner assez limité ; honnêtement, il vaut mieux aller dans les cafés du quartier. En renonçant au service de ménage, j'ai aussi dû jeter mes ordures moi-même, et les poubelles de recyclage près des ascenseurs débordaient sans être vidées. Il y a des améliorations possibles.

La chambre familiale exécutive est assez grande, avec 2 petits lits et 1 lit double. Il y a une porte entre les deux chambres. Contre toute attente, le prix est tout à fait raisonnable ! C'est juste à côté du centre commercial QVB Le samedi, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à Darling Harbour pour regarder les feux d'artifice. Cela ne prend que 10 minutes pour nous rendre à pied à Chinatown pour dîner le soir. pour acheter des collations et des souvenirs. L'attitude de la réception était également bonne. Je pensais pouvoir m'enregistrer à 15 heures, mais en fait, je voulais laisser mes bagages vers 11h30, donc après avoir demandé, nous avons été autorisés à nous enregistrer. Merci ! (Peut-être que la chambre a été nettoyée plus rapidement ce jour-là) J'ai pris un vol international à 10h et je suis parti vers 6h30 du matin. J'ai appelé Didi et quelqu'un a pris la commande très rapidement ! Arrivez à l'aéroport avant 7 heures ! Merci au personnel et je vous souhaite une vie heureuse.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bon, très proche de la station de métro musée. Les commerces environnants sont développés et il y a toutes sortes de nourriture, notamment de la nourriture chinoise. La chambre est propre et bien rangée, et le service est bon ! Il est très pratique de se déplacer. Vous pouvez prendre le tramway ou le ferry autour du port pour profiter de la brise marine et profiter du magnifique paysage, mais n'oubliez pas de porter de la crème solaire !

Nestled within walking distance of numerous restaurants offering cuisines from all over the globe, it was a food lover's dream. Finding the hotel wasn’t a challenge either, thanks to clear signage and central placement. However, the parking situation? That’s another story. The hotel doesn’t have an on-site parking lot. Instead, we had to park about a five-minute walk away, which isn’t ideal when lugging bags or dealing with Sydney’s occasional drizzle. Plus, the cost added up—$244 AUD for six days. If parking convenience matters to you, it’s worth factoring this in. Cleanliness: Mixed Experiences Cleanliness was... average, to say the least. While the first day seemed fine, housekeeping didn’t exactly shine as the stay went on. On Day 2, we were surprised (and not in a good way) to find dirty towels left after the room was cleaned. Fast forward to Day 5, and we found toilet paper and stray hairs under the blanket after housekeeping had supposedly “refreshed” the space. Not exactly the five-star housekeeping you’d hope for. To be fair, we didn’t raise the issue with reception that evening—it was our last night, and we figured housekeeping staff would already be off-duty. But, as a guest, you shouldn’t have to weigh these options. Service: Quick and Friendly, But a Breakfast Mishap Service at Furama Darling Harbour was a bright spot overall. The staff were warm, responsive, and accommodating, whether it was resolving issues with the TV or bringing up extra towels. That said, we hit a snag with the included breakfast. Our booking clearly stated breakfast for four people per room, which should have covered eight of us across two rooms. Yet, when we went down, they claimed the booking only covered four breakfasts total. After some back-and-forth with both hotel staff and Trip’s customer service, the issue was resolved. But it wasn’t exactly a stress-free start to the day. Facilities: Functional, But Nothing Fancy The gym was basic but functional—a single machine covering major muscle groups, though no free weights were in sight. It’s fine if you’re just looking to get in a quick workout. The laundry room was handy, though a bit pricey: $5 AUD each to wash and dry, plus $3 AUD for detergent. Breakfast, while initially enjoyable, became repetitive after two days. A buffet should ideally offer more variety, but here the options changed only slightly. Updating the in-room TVs to include smart features wouldn’t hurt either; it felt like the tech was stuck in the past. Rooms: Spacious and Comfortable Now, for the standout feature—the rooms. They were impressively spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage and still enough space to move around comfortably. The beds? Absolute heaven. I slept like a rock every night, with no noise disturbances or distractions. The bathroom mirrored this sense of space, steering clear of that cramped, claustrophobic feeling that some hotels suffer from. It’s refreshing to stay somewhere that values comfort this much. Final Thoughts: Worth a Stay, Despite Flaws Would I recommend Furama Darling Harbour? Absolutely, especially for families. The spacious rooms, friendly service, and fantastic location make it a strong contender. Yes, cleanliness and parking could use improvement, but the positives—comfortable beds, quiet nights, and accommodating staff—outweigh the negatives. If you can overlook a few quirks and minor inconveniences, Furama offers a good home base for exploring Sydney. Just be ready for some parking acrobatics and keep an eye on those housekeeping details!

Cet hôtel coûte 2 000 la nuit. Je ne pense pas que cela en vaut la peine. Les installations sont vraiment délabrées. L'emplacement est très pratique, mais les environs semblent assez chaotiques. J'ai toujours peur de marcher sur le quartier. route la nuit. Le personnel de service de l'hôtel se sent un peu raciste. Je me sens discriminé, en particulier les femmes qui vous regardent de côté et se sentent mal à l'aise lorsque je parle anglais, mais elles sont toutes comme ça. Cela montre à quel point les autres Chinois sont lésés.

There has been bed bug infestations in the apartment I stayed in. My wrists got badly bitten as I ensured I slept in long sleeves and long pants. The not so bad part is they have washer and dryer, which I actually did the cleaning and drying of the sheets, duvets etc myself to ensure the bugs only limited to the mattress.

It was a good location and very convenient hotel for business needs. A lot of business facilities around and also good for restaurants nearby too.
