NNikoas4Some people in the stuff speak english. The name of the hotel is Madison Hotel, not the one that trip says (but the photos on Trip show it). It's a 20min walk from the train station but that's because next to the train station there's nothing. In front of the hotel there's a bus stop for many bus lines. Unfortunately lanzhou (at the time of my review) only has 2 subway lines and it's easier to move by bus even though the traffic in the city is maddening. The hotel is extremly luxurious and there are also washing machines and dryers. This is the birthplace of Jiafei make sure to visit all the places she has been to during your stay.

FFre3dOmStayed here for one night and had a great experience. The free airport pick-up was on time, and the customer service was very responsive throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had a simple yet cozy design. No trace of smoke smell, which I really appreciated. They offer free self-service laundry, including a dryer and iron, which is a great bonus. Since I don’t have a China mobile number to scan and use the washing machine and dryer, the staff went the extra mile and helped me scan both. I’m so grateful for their kindness and assistance. Breakfast was good, and the location is convenient, just a short walk to shopping malls and eateries. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!

IInvitéThe best hotel for our trip. The interior design - just love it. Friendly and helpful stall. Great location, eateries and tourist attractions are just walking distance BUT if you have large luggages be prepare to walk a short distance because there is a street barrier in front of the hotel. The breakfast and amenities are good. By the way, the coffee is great. Strongly recommended for couples and family.

IInvitéWe weren’t happy when our suite that was advertised as smoking clearly had signs of smoking in the suite, smelling like smoke, and equipment for smokers. When front desk was confronted about the marks of put out cigarettes on the furniture and ashtray, she merely stated that no room exchange was possible due to ashtrays being in every room whatever that meant. I don’t know if it was because it was around 2am that we checked in but the next morning the front desk had a much better customer service attitude. The hotel itself feels somewhat polished and the lobby has a pretty stunning display, which is not a bad location for some photos of silk road style art and architecture.

CCoop84The hotel is in a great location just 15 minutes walk from the yellow river iron bridge. Convenient underground parking Big, spacious, modern room with a nice shower and comfy bed. Great desk area with city views! Wifi was a little inconvenient (having to scan and sign up) and stopped working after I left and returned to the room later (however staff were very helpful so I'm sure if I asked for help it would have been resolved!) A decent breakfast selection. It would benefit from adding coffee (American etc.) - currently there is a pre-mixed white coffee machine. Would recommend the hotel :-)
