Hôtels 4 étoiles à Kandy

The hotel is hidden away in the mountains outside Kandy, a great spot to relax and unwind. It is about 45 minutes out of central Kandy and 20 minutes to the botanical gardens  but the hotel will helpfully arrange transport if you decide to head into town. The view from the hotel is one of the best I have ever seen and sitting, relaxing in the beautiful grounds was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel food is also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious curries available. All of the staff are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time They also have a very affectionate dog, which was a huge win!

Misty Hills Villa Kadugannawa boasts the most incredible view over local mountains, best enjoyed if you are taking a cooling dip in the (small, but perfectly positioned) infinity pool! My husband and I were very well looked after during our short stay. The hotel staff served lovely breakfasts, organised two dinners for us and booked a tuk tuk for a day trip to Kandy. They also surprised me with a beautiful little cake on my birthday and even sang to me! The only small points I would make is that the dinners are not actually cooked on site - and that the staff did not offer to clean or make up our bedroom during our 3 night stay. Nevertheless, much kindness and warmth was demonstrated towards us and we loved the rural position of the property.

L'hôtel est sur une montagne haute, la route n'est pas bonne pour aller à un certain point de risque. Dans le magasin, il est très enthousiaste, chaud, chaud, attentif, mais la première chambre est arrangée mal, arrive à Noël, très chaud, avec les enfants craignant d'influencer le repos, le gestionnaire de la réception a tout d'abord dit qu'il avait cette pièce, à ma demande, Je n'ai changé que d'autre chambre. Il n'y a pas eu de nettoyage à l'entrée, j'ai attendu 20 minutes. La télévision n'est pas bonne après l'entrée. Le personnel de service peut démonter, je ne peux pas trouver d'autres personnes pour démonter. En résumé, l'environnement est super! La vue est excellente, mais il faut payer le temps de la route, le rapport coût-prix, le prix est élevé.

Beautiful boutique hotel, we had a wonderful spacious room with balcony and sofa corner, better than we expected. Great breakfast à la carte, also dinner options. Nice garden and view over the lake, very friendly staff. It is a nice, individual place with a lot of atmosphere. Only problem, but this might be in many places in Kandy: noisy street nearby.

Il est resté une nuit, est arrivé à environ 8, jusqu'à 9 heures le bar d'enregistrement, a aidé à prendre tous les sacs, avec l'apparition de l'hôtel nouveau, quelque part peint, quelque part quelque chose fini, la piscine était complètement vide, Nous avons baissé seul et il y avait un sentiment, que c'était toute notre villa, commandé riz avec légumes, était goût et grande portion, l'hébergement restait satisfait, était climatisation, ventilateur, thé, café, un réfrigérateur entier d'eau, shampooing

Melheim Kandy Villas is a charming hillside retreat that blends comfort, nature, and warm hospitality beautifully. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows or balconies that let you soak in the serene surroundings. The beds are comfortable, and the overall ambiance feels homely yet refined. While the property is generally well-maintained, a few minor maintenance touches could make it even better. One of the highlights is the service — the staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is hearty and flavorful, often featuring fresh local produce, and dining on the terrace with a view is a treat in itself

The location is over the hill, it’s a little difficult to get a tuk tuk or car that is willingly to go up to the hotel from city Center, especially at night. From hotel to city Center is about 8 mins of tuk tuk ride. Otherwise the service is great, staff are really friendly, nice hilly view from the balcony, western style breakfast platter with pastries.

Nous avons réservé une chambre avec vue et il a été certainement livré. Nous avons eu un balcon spacieux et nous pouvions voir si beaucoup, nous avons heureusement assis dehors pendant des heures et heureusement même le soleil était observable. La chambre était très spacieuse, la baignoire était étonnante et venait aussi avec la vue. Autres installations nous avons fait la plupart de inclus la piscine infinie, qui est de nouveau venue avec la vue. Il était difficile d'atteindre l'hôtel, mais c'est ce que vous attendez quand il est sur une montagne. Nous resterions encore !

The best location close to the temple and to the show. The staff was very nice and help us with everything. The room is beautiful that let us feel the vibe of Sri Lanka. Recommend.

Great location, right by the lake and walking distance to the tooth relic temple. I did have a monkey rob me of my $100 bill and everything with a wrapper in my luggage. So make sure to keep all your doors and windows closed when you leave for the day. The WiFi was not strong on the top level so ask for a room on the lower floors. Staff was friendly and helpful.
