Chambre d'hôtel tout à fait correcte, belle salle de bain. À 15 minutes du centre-ville en tram/métro (à 5 minutes à pied). Petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Personnel très agréable à la réception, au restaurant et pour le ménage/l'entretien. Délicieux restaurant thaïlandais juste en face.

Le petit déjeuner n'est ouvert que à 8h du week-end, nous l'avons manqué à cause d'un vol précoce, mais ils ont fait un petit déjeuner à partir quand nous avons vérifié !

L'emplacement de l'hôtel était idéal et non loin du centre-ville d'Oslo avec une station de métro de l'autre côté de la route et plusieurs arrêts de bus à proximité. La plupart du personnel était très serviable, mais il y avait un monsieur qui semblait aider, mais sans résultat à ses actions. De plus, la première chambre qu'il a fournie, il a déclaré qu'elle aurait une vue. La vue était sur l'hôtel depuis la fenêtre. La chambre qu'il a fournie était sale et sale. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre auprès de sa collègue. Elle a été très serviable et nous a donné une superbe chambre très propre avec vue sur la rivière, mais le seul problème est que nous n'avions pas de téléphone dans la chambre. Nous en avons demandé un, mais on nous a dit qu'il n'y en aurait pas avant plus tard dans la semaine. Ce n'était pas bénéfique car nous partions. Les équipements étaient corrects, mais l'hôtel avait un accès direct au mini centre commercial qui avait de charmants cafés et des supérettes, ce qui était super. Par conséquent, nous n'avons pas mangé à l'hôtel. Dans l'ensemble, à part les problèmes ci-dessus, c'était un séjour agréable et nous l'avons prolongé d'une journée, ce qui s'est bien passé et nous avons pu rester dans la même deuxième chambre.

Loved this place overall. It is located right in front of the central station, so once you take the train from the airport, you can reach the hotel without a long walk with your suitcase. I truly recommend the breakfast — many Norwegian dishes are amazing.

The all staff are so nice and the responses of email was so fast. Also, room was well cleaned and fashionable, and all facilities worked well. Additionally, there were stock room in the apparentment so i could restock when i was out of kitchen paper or some other staffs. There were also water in the room when i entered the room. In the batheoom, there was a floor heating which was good for me. The location was near the City Station so easy to go everywhere and there was a bus stop next to the building entrance door. It's might be diffict to find the hotel at first time but the hotel is on the second floor:) I wanna stay at this hotel surely when i visit Oslo next time.

Une chaîne hôtelière norvégienne bien connue. Le plus gros avantage est qu'il est proche de la gare centrale. La chambre est grande et confortable, mais les installations globales de l'hôtel ne sont pas des plus addictives Avantages : Un petit-déjeuner copieux. Des fruits et des machines à café gratuits sont disponibles dans le hall. C'est un avantage pour l'Europe du Nord froide. La proximité de la gare est le plus grand avantage. Inconvénients : Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'ascenseurs et l'équipement a une impression de vétusté, mais les chambres sont fondamentalement neuves.

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Le paysage est incroyable ! Il est également très confortable de faire des heures supplémentaires dans le salon commun la nuit. La chambre est très petite et il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. C'est aussi un hôtel très historique, il fait plus chaud et dispose d'une piscine. Il est recommandé de s'y rendre en voiture pour plus de commodité.

Myself and a group of HE students have returned home from a conference where we stayed in this hotel. The staff were really helpful and polite. Every morning we would ask for fresh towels at reception and these were either provided there and then or delivered to the room within 10 minutes of the request. The hotel is located around 10-15 minutes walk away from the marina, the tube station, royal palace. The students really enjoyed how central the hotel was to everything. Check in and out was smooth, and the rooms were clean. There was a QR code in the room to scan if you wanted the cleaner to come in on a daily basis.  There was a small selection of snacks in the reception area to purchase. On the other hand the breakfast variety was really good.  From fresh waffles and pancakes to cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit, fresh smoothies and juices.  Overall this hotel is great if you want a base to go and explore Oslo. I would recommend this hotel to a weekend away.
