Ravenswood Guest House

From the moment I arrived until I checked out Stuart was a great host. He always had time to ask where I was going for a walk. He would give me plenty of tips where to go and what to do,his knowledge of some of the trails is exceptional. Breakfast was spot on posh porridge and a fry up, with plenty of other options available. My room was great the bed was so comfy and nice and big. I was only there for 3 nights but the room was cleaned daily. Bus stop across the way to get into town then a taxi back later was only £5. Thank you Stuart for making my trip a great trip see you soon.

Lovely B&B in a great location to explore the Stirling area. Room (bed!) was very comfortable and spotless. Shower and toiletries to high standard. Breakfast choice was excellent. Tea tray and welcome on a damp day was great. Stuart is a great host.

My wife and I stayed at the Ravenswood Guest House for a short break so we could explore Stirling and the surrounding area. For us the location was perfectly situated between the National Wallace Monument and Stirling Town centre. There is on-site parking which allowed us to park the car and walk to all the main tourist attractions - The National Wallace Monument (1 Mile, 24 minute walk) and the Stirling Castle (1.2 miles, 26 minute walk), The Old Town Jail (1.2 miles, 26 minute walk) and Stirling Town centre (1.3 mile, 28 minute walk). However, in order to reach all these locations you need to walk uphill. The Ravenswood Guest House is extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Stirling then look no further. Stuart was the perfect host and made us feel extremely welcome. He provided us with lots of great local knowledge and his breakfast was superb.

Good quiet location close to Old Bridge with a bus stop within a minutes walk. Stylish decor with all modern conviniences. And in top of all this Stu, the host, who really makes you feel at home in his place. The best breakfast, great coffee and home-made bread were the highlights of each day. Book early as everybody wants to stay here. Will return!

From the time of booking Stuart was very helpful in advising where we should eat and visit which was really useful as we were meeting friends for lunch. The accommodation was excellent and definitely value for money. Despite it being on a main road, we heard no noise at all once inside. The breakfast is fantastic, and we are currently planning another visit to this amazing B & B

My hubby and I spent two nights at the Ravenswood guest house . From the minute we arrived, we were made very welcome .we arrived a couple of hours before check-in time, but our room was ready, and Stuart very kindly let us setlle in . We had room 4, which is one of the smaller rooms , but we found it more that adequate and cleaned to a very high standard, and the bed was extremely comfy. The breakfast was excellent, a good selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc, and the cooked breakfast was great. The Ravenswood is slightly further out of the main town than we anticipated, but a taxi isn't expensive if needed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay , and if we were in that area again, we would certainly stay again. TOP MARKS STUART.

My sister and I spent a night after being at the Edinburgh Fringe, despite us being a bit late for our check in, due to the train running late, we were given a lovely warm welcome by our host , who made enquiries to the local restaurant to see if they could accommodate us for a meal, sadly no but we managed to get something to eat at the local shop . Room 1 is gorgeous , with a double and single bed, the bathroom was stunning . We both slept very well the beds are so comfortable . Breakfast was really good, lots of lovely options on the menu . Would definitely suggest a stay here, we will be back

Stuart is an excellent host. He has a great knowledge of the area. e.g. He knew the week of our visit was Graduation week at the University and got us booked into the local restaurants at v. short notice on couple of nights. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast was varied, done to order and delicious. We had an upstairs room at the front of the house and didn't notice the road noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Just what you require from a guest house , quiet , good food a very nice ' host' in a place easy to get to and lovely surrounding area . The room was really nice and the bed was comfortable ( no lumps or squeaks) and there was a fridge just outside the door (great idea)
