We loved the Hotel Forum Garni. We stayed for two nights in mid-October and have nothing negative to say about it. Readers of this review planning a visit trip to Subotica might like to know that the hotel used to be called the Hotel Gloria and appears under that name on some older guidebooks and maps. It is right in the centre of the city and within easy walking distance of the magnificent Secessionist buildings that Subitica is known for and also several restaurants and cafes. There is a car park in the hotel courtyard. Confusingly access is through a paying public car park; the receptionists give visitors a ticket to allow them to leave free of charge. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Unlike some other hotels where we stayed in our brief holiday in the area there was plenty of storage space for our clothes, several electric sockets for our phones and computers. Even better, the bedside lights were good and reading in bed was not a problem. The room had a little kitchen area with a kettle, crockery, cutlery and a sink. There was a notice that we could request an induction heater from reception. We could have prepared small meals and might have done so if we had been staying longer. Wifi was free and the signal was strong. The bathroom was large with enough space for us to leave our toiletries by the washbasin. The shower area had a shelf which was very useful for our soap and shampoo. Why do more hotels not think of such practical details? Breakfast was excellent. It was a buffet with lots of choice. The bread was fresh (surprisingly not a given in this part of the world given the number of bakeries...). There were some high quality local products such as ajvar and jam as well as more international offerings. It was a good start to the day. The staff were welcoming and helpful. When we arrived they directed us to the street with several restaurants. In summary, we would highly recommend this hotel.

I was in subotica for a month on business. In the course of that i stayed at hotel forum for 30 nights. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Also the management is committed to making the stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are very clean and spacious and equipped, with a kettle, a fridge and a selction of dishes. The morning buffet also offers a wiede selection of regional dishes. included parking space on the proerty. The hotel is located directly in the centre, the main square is only a 2 Minute walk away

The hotel is in best location very close to city centre , parks and restaurants. Room is very large ,well devorated and nice balcony and kitchen. Breakfast was good but it might be little better. The carpark place is very nice so easy to come to infront of hotels Very nice

This hotel was great. It’s Scandi cool and simple but felt luxurious as well. From the moment we arrived the staff could not be more helpful or lovely. The rooms were spacious comfortable and really clean. Bar area simple but nice and the breakfasts were great. Location was amazing - walk out of the door and great bars and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Go to Boss Cafe it’s great and Pelivan ice cream parlour for dessert! I would visit Subotica again and I would stay here. Hvala Hvala

The hotel is on the higher side price wise, but it is fresh and new feeling. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and it ticket all of the boxes. The rooms and nice little free mini bar which was cool. I’d stay again.
