We really liked the location, it was right next to Darling Harbour. We got a warm and friendly welcome by the intern Brent at the front desk. He was nice and told us about all the things to do around, however, we had requested a room with a view, that they didn't provide, which we didn't fuss over. We were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian dish in the already wonderful breakfast spread, and we loved that. The chef was kind enough to proactively ask us if we enjoyed the food and if we had a special request for the breakfast the next day, which they gladly honored. The hotel also had direct access to Darling Harbour, which was very convenient as we wanted to visit it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hospitality and customer service at Hyatt, and would gladly visit again.

Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy.

Bruits de rue et de chantier en permanence, même la nuit La salle de bains avec WC minuscule La chambre naturellement froide La climatisation inefficace sauf si on la met à 24° et soufflerie à fond ...mais là pas moyen de dormir ! La réception : il y fait plus froid que dehors et pour la salle de petit déjeuner, c'est encore pire. Seulement 2 ascenseurs sur 3 fonctionnent, le 3ème est en panne et n'a pas été réparé durant 3 jours. Petit déjeuner à 20 AUD correct

La salle de bains est très bien équipée, avec des refroidissements et des stockage disponibles. Personnel utile, jovial, patient et amiable. 4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cet hôtel Sofitel bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement, avec des transports très pratiques. Il se trouve juste à la limite de Darling Harbour et est très pratique pour manger et faire du shopping. Le personnel de la réception est compétent, l'enregistrement est très rapide et le départ est également très pratique. La chambre avait une vue magnifique, était très spacieuse et la décoration intérieure était décontractée et élégante. La vue depuis les étages intermédiaire et supérieur est très large. Avec les fenêtres fermées la nuit, c'était très calme, confortable pour dormir et la literie était également très confortable. Le matelas et les oreillers étaient moyennement mous et durs et l'expérience était bonne. La disposition du hall de l'hôtel vous fait vous sentir très à l'aise. Il existe de nombreuses sortes de petit-déjeuner.

Il était si bon, si beaucoup à explorer, et le petit déjeuner bouquet était agréable au-delà des attentes.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Il s'agit d'un examen modifié pour mettre en évidence le manque de communication qui se fait constamment sentir à l'hôtel, mais malheureusement, l'aide à la clientèle n'est pas l'un d'eux. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et le toit de la barre d'Aster était un grand endroit pour profiter d'un cocktail et voir des soirées spectaculaires. Ma femme a perdu ses lunettes à l'hôtel, les lunettes sont réceptives dans des cadres de design très distincts et étaient dans une boîte d'or brillante. Nous avons demandé au bureau au cours du contrôle de la sortie s'ils avaient été trouvés et on leur a dit qu'ils n'avaient pas été livrés mais que la réception serait vérifiée avec le bar Aster, où nous pensons qu'ils avaient été laissés mais fermés au moment du contrôle. Nous devrions être à Sydney dans 4 jours et la réceptionniste a pris toutes les détails et une description des lunettes et du cas et a dit qu'elle m'enverrait pour me donner une mise à jour. Quatre jours plus tard, quand nous sommes retournés à Sydney, nous avons vérifié à l'hôtel il n'y avait pas de note contre notre réservation et le receveur de la taxe a dit que rien ne pouvait être fait mais qu'il n'était pas en mesure de confirmer si un contrôle avait été effectué dans le bar de toit Aster. J'ai demandé de parler au directeur de la fonction et une dame irlandaise, dont je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le nom, est venue me parler. Elle était très excusée et dit que ce n'était pas la norme normale que nous devrions attendre de l'hôtel et elle a promis de parler au personnel d'Aster et qu'elle reviendrait à moi par courriel avant la fin de la journée. Malheureusement, aucune communication n'était à venir et une suite par courriel à l'hôtel reste irrépondue. Nous comprenons que la perte était notre faute, mais le manque d'intérêt du personnel et les promesses non remplies, vides de la direction nous dissuadaient certainement de rester là. Il semblerait que la direction n'ait pas intérêt à encourager la satisfaction des clients.

Je suis satisfait. C'est pas cher, environ 200 000 wons, petit déjeuner compris, et la chambre est spacieuse et dispose de deux lits simples, donc je suis resté confortablement avec un ami. Il n'y a pas d'eau pour les commodités, il faut donc en apporter une. une grande serviette et une serviette à main. Sèche-cheveux, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, télévision, placard, fer à repasser disponible. Le petit déjeuner était meilleur que prévu et le menu était assez copieux, donc j'ai tout mangé.
