I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Hands down worst nights sleep Ive ever had away from home. I arrived late from an interstate flight. The code I was given to get into the front door didn’t work. I tried half a dozen times. It was night, I was a solo small female and tbh I was starting to feel a little scared. Fortunately someone walked out of the building and let me in. The code to key collection worked and I went upstairs to my room. Now if u have heavy luggage this is not the place for you. Think European hotels with no lifts! Same same! The room itself was nice. Bathroom and toilet are not part of your room. It’s a seperate room. For everyone! Shared. That’s fine unless you get a case of bali belly! I guess this is all due to the age of the building. Renovated and lovely mind you. Problem I had is the bathroom was the door next to my bedroom and with a two inch gap under my door my room was excessively noisy with the opening and banging of all doors and especially the bathroom. That door was on constant rotation. Then I could hear the shower going. All up I think I got no more than 2-3 hours sleep. Only choice is bring ear buds or the hotel should provide them complimentary! Worst night sleep I’ve had in any hotel across the globe. Room was very clean, as were the amenities, staff seemed lovely. In daylight area felt fine. I suspect rather alternative and trendy bring a non Sydneysider myself. At the price and cleanliness I’d recommend but bring good quality ear buds!

La salle de bain est moyenne, il y a suffisamment de lits, elle est recommandée pour un usage familial L'emplacement est très bon. C'est un bon choix pour les personnes qui aiment se promener ou se promener. Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas mauvais !

Nous avons séjourné pendant deux nuits à la fin de mai. Notre chambre était calme et propre même si nous avons besoin d'une rénovation, qui, probablement, va par les travaux de construction en cours, est en cours. Le petit déjeuner (qui était inclus dans notre tarif de la chambre) était surprenantment bon. La zone servie était très propre et lumineuse. Nous avons trouvé tout le personnel agréable. Le prix de l'hébergement est très élevé, nous sommes heureux que l'hôtel Song soit un peu plus abordable pour nous.

L'hôtel est vraiment petit, pas très propre et très vieux, les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas, on entend le bruit des verbes à une ou deux heures du soir, mais c'est calme avant dix heures. horloge le matin. Le prix est plus cher pendant la Fête du Printemps, si vous réservez tôt, vous pouvez réserver un hôtel Hilton avec une différence d'environ 200 par jour, mais l'emplacement de cet hôtel est bon, il n'est qu'à dix minutes. à pied jusqu'à Chinatown, et la sécurité dans ce quartier de Sydney est plutôt bonne. C'est assez animé quand je rentre à l'hôtel à une ou deux heures du soir. Il y a un restaurant à proximité qui vend de la bonne cuisine malaisienne. , et il y a un supermarché coréen qui vend de délicieux kimchi, tous deux situés à dix minutes à pied de l'hôtel.

Je suis satisfait. C'est pas cher, environ 200 000 wons, petit déjeuner compris, et la chambre est spacieuse et dispose de deux lits simples, donc je suis resté confortablement avec un ami. Il n'y a pas d'eau pour les commodités, il faut donc en apporter une. une grande serviette et une serviette à main. Sèche-cheveux, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, télévision, placard, fer à repasser disponible. Le petit déjeuner était meilleur que prévu et le menu était assez copieux, donc j'ai tout mangé.

On the ambience side, the decor and modern-ish art was uplifting and fun. The room was very clean. But, we were surprised to find the room so small. In order for 2 people to get into the bed, one had to crawl over the other. The very small window sill became the nightstand. There was no room for luggage, and no luggage racks - we were told they didn’t have enough. That meant one suitcase on the floor and one on the very small plastic table. The retro-refrigerator was cool, but my traveling companion kept threatening to move it out into the hall to create some space in the room the whole time we were there. And then, the very small bathroom, the shower door doubled as the door to the bathroom. Have you ever looked into a microwave? The shower and the bathroom walls had the same dot matrix pattern as a microwave door. My companion was surprised to see while showering she could see me relaxing on the bed, and when she screamed “can you see me?” I replied “yes”. My companion now has bathroom-PTSD. Not only was the shower see through, there was a full-room-view sitting on the throne, trying to do your business. Then the realization somebody may be watching. PTSD! Our solution was to use the downstairs public bathroom for major activities. Did I mention IBS???

Très bien situé près de Chinatown, à distance de marche du tramway (5 minutes) et à côté d'un grand terminal de bus, ainsi que de la Grand Station et du métro. De nombreuses options de restauration à proximité, surtout si vous aimez la cuisine asiatique. J'ai réservé la chambre avec une belle vue sur la ville. Je le recommande à quelqu'un qui souhaite utiliser différents modes de transport pour se déplacer à Sydney ou en banlieue, et à quelqu'un qui aime la cuisine asiatique. Il se trouve également à quelques pas de George St, la rue piétonne du centre de divertissement de Sydney. La chambre en elle-même est convenable, mais rien d'extraordinaire, avec une taille correcte, ni grande, ni petite. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon endroit, mais un peu cher, comme tout le reste à Sydney :)

La ville est très bien située, mais elle est très bien située. Je n'ai jamais eu personne à prendre mes sacs dans ma chambre en Australie! J'ai offert un conseil et ils ne l'accepteraient pas. La chambre était immaculée, je me suis sentie la première personne à l'utiliser. Je trouve la chambre très calme, même si elle a regardé la piscine. J'ai dit que je ne bois pas d'eau de la bouteille et que quand je suis revenu, il y avait trois gouttes d'eau encore sur la table de la cuisine. Je ne peux pas noter Adina assez fort.

Tout d'abord, cet hôtel est parfaitement situé pour les voyageurs d'affaires à Macquarie Park Business Centres. L'hôtel est à 5 minutes de bureaux, Macquarie Centre et gares. Absolutement parfait pour mon voyage de travail. Il y a eu quelques points positifs. Les chambres sont belles, tout ce que vous attendiez d'un hôtel d'affaires. Le lit était confortable, il y avait une télévision que je n'avais jamais utilisé, l'espace pour mettre vos bagages et pendler vos vêtements, une table et une chaise, etc. Cependant, il descend de là de la colline. Je vais énumérer les négatifs 1 par 1 : 1. Une cuillère avait un odeur très forte qui vient de lui. Parfumée comme un mauvais moustique BO. J'ai littéralement dû déplacer la cuillère dans le panier car je ne pouvais pas supporter l'odeur. Mais cela signifie que je pourrais sentir cet odeur de merde chaque fois que je suis entrée et sortie de la chambre. 2. 1 des serviettes de bains fournis avaient un gros trou/tête dans elle. 3. La garde-house a fait une erreur et n'a pas fourni de shampooing mais 2 conditionneurs. Ils ont dit que je devais venir à la réception pour me laisser. Bien, je suis descendu et j'ai reçu 1 bouteille de shampooing. Je suis retourné en haut pour m'endormir pour savoir que le shampooing donné était pré-ouvre/pré-utilisation. Terrible. Après la douche, je suis retourné pour parler à un autre receveur qui était pardonné et m'a donné 2 bouteilles de shampooing. 4. Le deuxième jour, je me suis rendu compte que le garde-house n'était pas venu, donc je suis descendu pour parler à la réception et il a été dit que, en raison de la VODI, ils ne font que le garde-house après le 3e jour de votre séjour qui m'a fait nulle et vide. 5. Le centre de fitness était adéquat, mais ils n'ont pas rempli les serviettes et n'ont pas nettoyé les serviettes régulièrement. Le 3e jour, le tuyau était encore plein et mon toilet précédent était toujours là dans la même position que je l'avais laissé. Si elles étaient si préoccupées par le COVID, elles auraient plus régulièrement nettoyé des zones publiques comme le gym et dans la salle où un verre et une tasse vides sont fixés pendant 3 jours entiers. L'absence de nettoyage dans les zones publiques est inacceptable pour moi dans l'industrie de l'hospitalité, et je ne peux pas recommander cet hôtel à personne, compte tenu de mes préoccupations ci-dessus, en particulier le manque de nettoyage pendant que nous traitons une épidémie.
