Arrived late after being at a competition, we did inform the management of this situation though ! After a checking which took forever and with two tired little kids girls we drove in trying to look for a parking spot as well as our room . They are all dimly lit , near impossible to make our room numbers on the doors . The carpark was full and our spot was taken up by another patron who thought it was fair to take his own parking space as well as ours with his boat ! What spots that were still available we wouldn’t have gotten our car into . Went back up and pressed the intercom for help , to be told that’s not their responsibility they don’t guarantee you a spot ! I was tired and not happy with this response and made that very clear ! What kind of motel takes your money ( overpriced at that ) and doesn’t provide somewhere to park ! It’s not like this motel is conveniently situated with other parking options nearby ! Absolute joke . He then came out walking along the carpark pointing the dud spots he figured we should fit , being either one small enough for a motorcycle or one where they had double parked leaving a half parking spot 🙄 We were finally directed to one way down the end away from our room which had a overgrown garden and trees half over it . My daughter had no choice than to take it , with the manager sarcastically saying good parking . We were all tired and just wanted to shower and get the kids into bed . We then had to get the girls and our luggage out through the back hatch of the car as there was no accessing the doors on either the garden side or the other side which was super close to the next car ! The room was unclean and smelled of smoke 🤢 The bathroom was smelly ( it stunk like septic in there ) it wasn’t clean like it was last attended to by a cleaner when it was built in the 70’s . We all subsequently went without showers that night . Opened the wardrobe to hang a dress to find a cockroach running inside The twin beds were both sagged on the middle . Curtains were filthy and don’t slide to cover the windows , we had to hold them across either side of the window with a chair pinning them there . This motel was a total nightmare and rip off . Needs the health department to come have a good inspection. Would never ever stay there again or recommend it . Would be better off sleeping in the car than here ! As other reviewers have stated we also didn’t expect a 5 star motel but we were expecting a clean place and a parking spot outside our room and certainly no disgusting smell

Si vous voulez un endroit pour ”mettre la tête en bas” la nuit dans le sud-ouest de Sydney à un prix raisonnable, ce n'est pas une mauvaise option. (Notez que c'est un motel de pub et nous avons séjourné le samedi soir). Il n'y a pas beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs, il n'est certainement pas une base pour visiter Sydney, mais si vous visitez des gens ou avez des affaires dans la région et vous avez juste besoin d'un endroit peu cher pour dormir et refroidir, c'est une bonne option. Je resterais encore ici.

We love our stay at this hotel so much! For travellers like us, the hotel location is perfect, it’s about 100m walking from the train station and there are so many eateries and stores to shop and dine! For Muslim travellers, the location also has multiple Halal eateries nearby, including a kebab store right across the street. We can’t find fault in this hotel, honestly. Check in and check out were super quick and easy, staff was so helpful and friendly. Left luggage storage is available and the Wi-Fi is fantastic. The hotel has an elevator, which makes it extra perfect for families with kids and elderly, or travellers with large luggage. Our room is sweet and simple, we really enjoyed the beds and showers. There are also a mini fridge and mugs with the basic complimentary tea-coffee-sugar combo. Our TV is huge and we love it! The extra plug points are also super helpful for us to charge all our devices and power banks. The hotel is basically located on top of a restaurant and sports bar, but trust us, it’s really quiet at night! If you’re travelling to the airport from this hotel, you can take a bus from in front of NAB/Chemist Warehouse and switch to another bus just 10 mins later (use Google map for details); because this only cost us about $4 to get to the airport instead of the $21 train ride! What a deal, right?

L'hôtel lui-même est très bon. La piscine est petite, mais est au 9ème étage, donc a une bonne vue. Gavin au bar de la piscine était extrêmement aimable et utile. Plus de sièges/Salons solaires sont nécessaires et plus d'ombre. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. Je ne pouvais trouver rien sur le menu que je pouvais manger, car j'avais des intolérances alimentaires. J'ai dû chercher une serveuse et demander de l'aide. Merci, « Jenny » a parlé avec le chef et j'avais des poissons et des salades. (Il a toujours coûté $42 qui était le prix pour le repas de poisson sur le menu). Nous attendions bien plus qu'un hr pour nos repas et mon mari n'était pas ce qu'il avait commandé. Nous n'avons pas eu le petit déjeuner au restaurant, car nous n'avons pas pu utiliser ma carte Accor en vacances publiques. Je ne peux pas justifier de dépenser 70 $ pour les deux quand il n'y a pas beaucoup d'options alimentaires pour moi. Nous avons fini par partager un repas de service de la chambre qui était bon.

IInvitéI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). IInvitéTout d'abord, cet hôtel est parfaitement situé pour les voyageurs d'affaires à Macquarie Park Business Centres. L'hôtel est à 5 minutes de bureaux, Macquarie Centre et gares. Absolutement parfait pour mon voyage de travail. Il y a eu quelques points positifs. Les chambres sont belles, tout ce que vous attendiez d'un hôtel d'affaires. Le lit était confortable, il y avait une télévision que je n'avais jamais utilisé, l'espace pour mettre vos bagages et pendler vos vêtements, une table et une chaise, etc. Cependant, il descend de là de la colline. Je vais énumérer les négatifs 1 par 1 : 1. Une cuillère avait un odeur très forte qui vient de lui. Parfumée comme un mauvais moustique BO. J'ai littéralement dû déplacer la cuillère dans le panier car je ne pouvais pas supporter l'odeur. Mais cela signifie que je pourrais sentir cet odeur de merde chaque fois que je suis entrée et sortie de la chambre. 2. 1 des serviettes de bains fournis avaient un gros trou/tête dans elle. 3. La garde-house a fait une erreur et n'a pas fourni de shampooing mais 2 conditionneurs. Ils ont dit que je devais venir à la réception pour me laisser. Bien, je suis descendu et j'ai reçu 1 bouteille de shampooing. Je suis retourné en haut pour m'endormir pour savoir que le shampooing donné était pré-ouvre/pré-utilisation. Terrible. Après la douche, je suis retourné pour parler à un autre receveur qui était pardonné et m'a donné 2 bouteilles de shampooing. 4. Le deuxième jour, je me suis rendu compte que le garde-house n'était pas venu, donc je suis descendu pour parler à la réception et il a été dit que, en raison de la VODI, ils ne font que le garde-house après le 3e jour de votre séjour qui m'a fait nulle et vide. 5. Le centre de fitness était adéquat, mais ils n'ont pas rempli les serviettes et n'ont pas nettoyé les serviettes régulièrement. Le 3e jour, le tuyau était encore plein et mon toilet précédent était toujours là dans la même position que je l'avais laissé. Si elles étaient si préoccupées par le COVID, elles auraient plus régulièrement nettoyé des zones publiques comme le gym et dans la salle où un verre et une tasse vides sont fixés pendant 3 jours entiers. L'absence de nettoyage dans les zones publiques est inacceptable pour moi dans l'industrie de l'hospitalité, et je ne peux pas recommander cet hôtel à personne, compte tenu de mes préoccupations ci-dessus, en particulier le manque de nettoyage pendant que nous traitons une épidémie.

IInvité4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

8 personnes ont passé trois nuits au total. Elles ont séjourné dans 2 chambres doubles le premier jour et 4 chambres simples les deux autres jours. Dans l'ensemble, je préfère la chambre double. L'entrée de la chambre double est la cuisine et le salon. En bas des escaliers, il y a deux chambres et deux salles de bains. Il existe deux types de chambres simples, l'une avec un petit salon de 33 mètres carrés et l'autre avec un grand salon de 44 mètres carrés avec balcon. Le design du coin cuisine de chaque pièce est superbe, mais comparé aux chênes de Brisbane et de Melbourne, la décoration semble un peu plus ancienne.
Il se trouve à environ 10 minutes à pied de Coles. C'est un bon choix pour acheter du pain, des œufs, du lait cru, du bacon et du beurre pour le petit-déjeuner fait maison le lendemain.
Le plus important, c'est que le jour où nous avons loué une voiture et sommes partis de Sydney, nous avons en fait laissé une valise de 24 pouces dans le hall de l'hôtel... Heureusement, le personnel de l'hôtel nous a aidés à la mettre dans le débarras, et le La chinoise Maggie était également très enthousiaste. J'ai envoyé mon WeChat pour m'aider à résoudre le problème. Finalement, j'ai passé une commande auprès de DHL. Après avoir perdu mes bagages pendant 6 jours, ils sont finalement arrivés à Brisbane, où j'allais me rendre. ... Je le recommanderais également ! La photo représente le plus petit appartement d'une chambre.

Peu importe, mais c'était le bruit humide et parfois une légère vibration causée par les boucles de ventilation de l'air à l'extérieur de ma fenêtre (une qui était assez proche et attachée au mur extérieur). Il a fallu quelques jours et une certaine confusion avant de recevoir un signe de la porte. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, mais l'eau froide était rarement courue dans la baignade, ce qui était à l'heure actuelle un peu confortable. Il y a un salon de divertissement TV nook dans le corridor de l'extérieur de ma chambre qui n'était pas utilisé pendant mon séjour mais je trouve que cela serait perturbant si cela avait été.

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?

IInvitéLes hôtels en Australie sont chers. Le service et les installations sont incomparables à ceux de la Chine. La taille de la chambre est de 36P. La chambre avec vue sur la mer que j'ai réservée est située à Darling Harbour. Le paysage est magnifique. La main d'œuvre est trop chère et il y a un énorme écart entre W à Sydney et W sur le Bund (W sur le Bund est de 50 P). Les chauffeurs chinois de VTC en ligne à Sydney ont déclaré que personne ne voulait être serveur d'hôtel, alors ils ne peut embaucher que des serveurs avec des salaires élevés. L'emplacement du W est vraiment bon, le meilleur emplacement de Darling Harbour, juste à côté du Sofitel. Les lumières de la pièce sont sombres et brumeuses, et le couloir a un plafond étoilé. Ceux qui aiment que ce soit plus lumineux ne l'apprécieront peut-être pas. La baignoire et la salle de douche ne sont pas séparées, donc l'eau et le sec ne sont pas séparés. Le petit-déjeuner est entièrement de style occidental, ce qui est assez copieux, il sera inconfortable pour ceux qui ne sont pas habitués au petit-déjeuner à l'occidentale.
Parce que je n’avais pas de grandes attentes mentalement, j’ai pu accepter cette norme. L'hôtel est très proche du centre-ville, entouré de restaurants et très proche de Chinatown.

Proximite de thai town et au centre de Sydney Personnel agréable. Chose a améliorer, la température de la piscine Merci encore de prendre en considération les demandes des clients
