I spent two nights at Hoshinoya Guguan in a Feng room. The hotel was accommodating, converting the beds from three singles to a king and a single for us. Regrettably, despite its stunning location in the mountains, the resort doesn’t justify its high rates. I’ve visited other hot springs resorts, and, unfortunately, Hoshinoya Guguan doesn’t measure up. Additionally, there’s ongoing construction nearby, which is incredibly loud. The noise from the banging and machines disrupted the peaceful setting, forcing us to stay indoors rather than enjoying the outdoors. For those interested in the onsen, it’s worth noting that the public hot spring is open only from 6-10 a.m. and 4-10 p.m. It closes for cleaning daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., which seems impractical. Ideally, cleaning would occur overnight to not disrupt daytime use. The dining options are quite limited. Dinner at the restaurant was underwhelming with bland food, and the courses arrived too quickly, making us feel rushed. Breakfast is available from 7-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 12-2 p.m., offering narrow time frames for meals and very limited menu options. Missing the breakfast window means waiting until noon to eat. We were glad that we opted out of the meal plan. Our room spanned two floors, with the convenience of having the toilet on the same level as the bed. This is helpful for nighttime visits, though I was surprised that a room at this price point didn’t have a toilet on both floors. An automatic light and toilet seat are thoughtful touches, but the brightness of the light at 3 a.m. can be jarring. Adjustable lighting would be an improvement. The beds were comfortable, but the room lacked effective blackout blinds, letting in early morning sunlight. Additionally, an illuminated exit sign and a bright red ceiling light contributed to a less-than-dark sleeping environment. The resort provides pajamas and lounge wear, but the quality is disappointing. Our set had missing buttons and ties, and replacements were similarly damaged. A ‘mini-bar’ with complimentary beer, Coca-Cola, Sprite, coffee, and tea is included. However, given the cost of the stay, these offerings seem basic. Complimentary snacks or fruit would enhance the value. The staff at Hoshinoya Guguan is exceptional—friendly and helpful. Yet, the facilities, dining, and overall value fall short. In summary, the experience doesn’t live up to the price. Significant improvements are necessary to justify the cost.

Depuis le séisme de la douzième année, il est de nouveau retourné dans la région de Guangzhou. Certains paysages sont toujours dépourvus de personnel. Bien que l'apparence de l'hôtel Lijizhou soit vieille, les installations de la chambre ont été rénovées et la taille de l'espace est adaptée, en particulier dans la grande zone de séparation de la sécheresse entre les chambres et la sauce, Le petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel est magnifique, il est évident que le personnel de restauration est incliné à prendre un intérêt léger que l'hôtel à cinq étoiles à l'étranger. Le balcon extérieur du restaurant peut regarder la beauté de la vallée du Mont Lin et s'asseoir ici.

Ce jour-là, j'ai pris un bus public jusqu'au terminal de Guguan. Je ne connaissais pas la route, alors je suis allé au centre touristique pour vérifier l'emplacement de l'hôtel. De façon inattendue, le personnel du centre touristique m'a aidé à informer l'hôtel. Plus inattendu, l'hôtel a envoyé une voiture pour récupérer nos bagages. Après avoir tranquillement visité les environs, nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel pour nous enregistrer😁J'ai immédiatement ressenti l'hospitalité des Taïwanais.

The layout of the room is a bit odd; bed parked to wall, no clothes hanger, only hooks, toilet placed in a dead corner and you may easily hit yourself when you turn. They did not provide bath mat and bath curtain. You need to be very careful when you walk on a slippery floor. However, I need to appreciate the staff there. They are very helpful and polite and kept everything clean.

La décision provisoire de venir à Guangzhou à la chaleur. L'hôtel à proximité de vacances est toujours rempli de clients. Les prix de la chambre sont bon marché ici. Nous sommes dans une maison familiale de 2821 face-à-face. L'espace intérieur n'est pas plus grand que le vieux, mais n'affecte pas l'utilisation de la chambre. Il y a un petit-déjeuner chinois, qui est essentiellement chinois, mais qui est inondé. Il y a deux piscines de masse à l'extérieur. La qualité de l'eau est bonne. Le temps est froid et confortable.

Reception à l'entrée du hall, salon d'hôtel, restaurant, tous les services sont très chaleureusement réceptionnés. Après la rénovation de la chambre, il est également très nouveau, vous pouvez dormir dans la chambre, vous pouvez dormir confortablement, les installations sont également bonnes, il y a aussi des gens à côté pour regarder, Vous pouvez rester à l'hôtel tout le jour. Ce voyage familial est bon pour tous. En résumé, l'avenir sera toujours revisé et vous sera recommandé à vos amis et à tous.

5 minutes walk from the Train Station at Tai Chung. Room is clean but small in size. Location wise, it is quite far from the night markets and attractions. It is also located at a road intersection. The room that I got on the 8th floor has the hotel signage right outside of the window which is bright at night but with the blinds drawn its okay. Booked 2 rooms. In one of the rooms, safety ledge on the door is spoilt and the hotel used some double sided tape to stick it on. Feedback to the hotel concierge and they came to the room to look at it but couldn't provide a solution. For the other room the power sockets at the bed side were not working at all. Recommended to venture more into the city and stay somewhere more centralized unless if you need to catch an early morning train out.

The hotel location is very convenient, right beside the Taichung Train Station. When we were there, there was a nice Christmas market beside. But the area also have quite a few homeless people sleeping around, just be careful where you step when you are out and about the area. The hotel room is fine but there's a cigarette smell in the toilet for the time we were there. The hotel is great for family with kids since they have a playground inside. We loved that they have a laundry room in the basement for us to wash and dry our clothes (20 twd for 30 mins wash, 20 twd for 40 mins dry).

The location is very very convenient and it's so near the train station. The room and environment are clean and neat while the common area with kitchen area are very good. However there is no table inside the room we stayed so somehow we encountered difficulties to pack & unpack our items for a family. It may cause some problems for families with kids or babies if we need to handle the daily chores inside the room.
