Hôtels avec balcon à Taichung

Had a great stay at Hotel Si! The showers had constant hot water with strong pressure, and they even provided travel adapters. The water dispensers on every floor were clean and convenient. The lobby was spacious, open, and beautifully decorated with plenty of plants. However, an important thing to note—our room had a balcony, and the toilet was located outside on it. This can be inconvenient, especially at night or in winter when you have to take a few chilly steps back to the bedroom after a shower. The Sealy bed was super comfortable, but the blanket wasn’t the best. The duvet cover kept shifting due to loose ties, which left empty spaces inside. The TV was large and had YouTube and Netflix, but it was quite laggy—maybe Haier isn’t the best brand for TVs. On the plus side, the location is fantastic! There’s a great massage parlour and a live band bar nearby. That said, the strict 4 PM check-in policy can lead to long queues, and parking is limited to just five spots outside, though alternatives are available. One small suggestion—the hotel might want to consider rebranding as ”Hotel Xi” instead of ”Hotel Si,” as ”Si” means ”die” in Mandarin, which is a cultural taboo for Chinese guests. Overall, it’s a decent option if the price is right. The separate toilet setup was a huge downside for me, but the convenience of the location makes up for it. Would consider staying again!

It was a walk from the train station. However it was worth it as it was a beautiful little space. Room was a little space but it was sufficient and cosy. Netflix was available. Bathroom was clean and big. There was free flow wine for certain hours during one of the days. That was a plus.

The hotel is new, and room is spacious and clean. The staff is helpful. However, the hotel is quite remote which we were not aware when booking. Also, it is in a newly developed community and not much things (restaurants and attractions ) in the surrounding, and it is quite far from city but close to Highspeed train station.  On the other hand, it was packed, particularly during breakfast, and I guess it is popular place to go with young kids. Breakfast is so-so. As the price is good, we cannot complain more but need to consider transportation cost and time when booking.

Nice place to stay! It was clean and new - they are nice to also provide a baby cot for free for our baby. However, the mattress is a little too thin so we had to let baby sleep on the bed. Nonetheless, it is an awesome place to be at when in Taichung.

Aime les équipements de l'hôtel comme le souper complimentaire, la baignoire de pieds, etc. Apprécie la proximité du marché de nuit de Feng Chia. Il est à environ 8 minutes à pied. Tout en général, il semble très nouveau. La chambre est bien conçue. Le parking est derrière l'hôtel, pour entrer dans une petite rue. La réception a réussi à nous placer à côté, même s'il n'y a pas de salle de connexion.

La taille de la chambre est assez bonne pour 3 adultes. Le personnel de service est ami. La distance de marche au marché de la nuit de Fengjia. Mais notez, il n'y a pas de façon à obtenir le petit déjeuner à distance de marche sauf 7-11. Autrement dit, Place est très propre. Globalement, heureux de la résidence.

The hotel is near fengjia night market. All toiletries are provided in the hotel room. There is a lounge with complimentary snacks and hot beverages. There is also a laundry area for you to wash your clothes. Overall, excellent stay. Will book the hotel again if I come Taichung.

Je l'ai réservé parce que j'ai vu des critiques disant qu'il était proche du marché nocturne de Zhongxiao, et qu'il était en effet très proche. Il y a un snack à côté de l'hôtel et un restaurant de canard rôti en diagonale en face j'ai mangé les deux, c'était bon ! Il y a aussi une laverie à 5 minutes à pied, parfaite pour laver les vêtements sales de ces derniers jours à Taiwan afin de pouvoir « se précipiter » plus tard. Parce que j'amène des enfants, je dois surtout réserver une chambre triple, sinon il ne sera pas confortable de dormir. La chambre est assez grande et dispose d'une baignoire. Il est facile d'ouvrir quatre valises. Le reste de l'hôtel est en fait assez vieux. J'ai même vu un groupe de touristes de Hong Kong s'enregistrer le soir. L'hôtel peut toujours fournir du café et du thé. Le plus important est qu'après notre départ, il n'y avait aucun endroit pour manger les plats emballés, nous les avons donc apportés directement à la salle de petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel, ce qui nous a offert une grande commodité !

Check-in was contactless - all via a kiosk even dispensing your key cards, it was a breeze. I think the hotel used to be called moving star hotel as I saw their bath towel had the name imprinted. Google maps location / bus stop name was also moving star hotel. Nonetheless a good stay. Room nice and decent. The wash basin is separate from the toilet/shower area. 👍🏼
