I write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all. The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing? The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room. On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before. It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well? Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me. It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.

La chambre est juste au niveau 2 près du lobby. La toilette était froide avec 2 salles de bains et 2 toilettes séparées. Le personnel était amiable et utile. Il y a 5 bunks en total suffisants pour un total de 12 personnes. Nous aimerons en particulier la sélection gratuite des boissons disponibles dans la zone de lobby. Il n'y a que des lavabos gratuits avec sèche-linge pour TWD 10 pour 20 minutes (qui est beaucoup moins cher que Taipei). Un très bon soulagement pour rester :)

Had a great stay at Hotel Si! The showers had constant hot water with strong pressure, and they even provided travel adapters. The water dispensers on every floor were clean and convenient. The lobby was spacious, open, and beautifully decorated with plenty of plants. However, an important thing to note—our room had a balcony, and the toilet was located outside on it. This can be inconvenient, especially at night or in winter when you have to take a few chilly steps back to the bedroom after a shower. The Sealy bed was super comfortable, but the blanket wasn’t the best. The duvet cover kept shifting due to loose ties, which left empty spaces inside. The TV was large and had YouTube and Netflix, but it was quite laggy—maybe Haier isn’t the best brand for TVs. On the plus side, the location is fantastic! There’s a great massage parlour and a live band bar nearby. That said, the strict 4 PM check-in policy can lead to long queues, and parking is limited to just five spots outside, though alternatives are available. One small suggestion—the hotel might want to consider rebranding as ”Hotel Xi” instead of ”Hotel Si,” as ”Si” means ”die” in Mandarin, which is a cultural taboo for Chinese guests. Overall, it’s a decent option if the price is right. The separate toilet setup was a huge downside for me, but the convenience of the location makes up for it. Would consider staying again!

Avantages (Points bonus) : Emplacement : Transports en commun pratiques et accès facile. Bonne isolation phonique : Les fenêtres à double vitrage bloquent efficacement les bruits extérieurs. Qualité du sommeil : Le matelas est de fermeté moyenne et confortable. Inconvénients (Améliorations nécessaires) : Problème d'odeur : Le désodorisant de la salle de bain est trop fort ; l'odeur reste perceptible même porte fermée (attention aux personnes sensibles aux odeurs). Avis neutre : Petit-déjeuner : Choix limité, correct mais suffisant pour un repas de base. Résumé : Dans l'ensemble, le petit-déjeuner est acceptable. Malgré l'odeur et le choix limité, l'emplacement et l'excellente isolation phonique en font un logement relativement fonctionnel.

Le 1er jour où nous sommes arrivés, il y avait un nettoyage de la ville et il y avait tellement de cochons au premier étage, mais le personnel essayait de le nettoyer et ce n'est pas leur faute. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et agréables. Le petit déjeuner inclus et très délicieux. (Les frites sont les meilleurs) Vous devez aller un peu à un autre hôtel, la tante il y a vraiment agréable! Ils ne vous offrent plus d'équipements en plastique, mais je suppose que c'est pour chaque hôtel à Taïwan.

La valeur CP de l'hôtel est très élevée. Je l'ai trouvé en raison de besoins temporaires. Je voulais juste rattraper mon sommeil, mais contre toute attente, j'ai trouvé que c'était très propre et que les produits pour le bain et le shampoing étaient super utiles (je les avais déjà achetés en ligne). La climatisation et l'eau sont très bonnes. Seule la porte vitrée de la salle de bain n'est qu'à moitié finie, donc l'eau sera pulvérisée partout lorsque vous prendrez une douche, rendant le sol de la salle de bain très glissant. Le port des chaussons fournis par l'hôtel est glissant et dangereux. Le repose-pieds n'est pas assez sec (j'ai bonne conscience et n'essuie pas le sol avec une serviette de bain, mais tout le monde le fait XD) Bref, la petite bourgeoisie le recommande vraiment.

Stayed here from 10 Apr to 14 Apr. It is about 10-15mins walk Taichung Railway station. The hotel is within the central district of Taichung (buildings are older here), but the hotel itself looks and feel relatively new and modern. It is conveniently located near lots of food options, and the Taichung Second Market and Miyahara is only about 5-10mins walk away. The room is clean and spacious. It has a nice modern design too. The basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, lotion and hairdryer are provided. Can’t seem to find local channels on the TV but you can use apps like netflix and youtube. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast, tea time (if i recall correctly) and supper. The variety is acceptable given that this is not a big hotel. food is decent too. For breakfast there was a mini salad bar, porridge station, various steamed buns, toasts. For supper, there were braised minced meat rice and side dishes, soup, DIY noodle station, steamed buns, toasts, DIY beancurd station, some snacks/tidbits. There is also dessert with red/green bean soup, drinks and ice cream. Just one minor hiccup - a false fire alarm was trigger at 4am on one of the nights which only affected the higher floors from 9th storey and above. The guests on our storey werent aware if the lift is working or if it is safe to use and we ended up climbing the stairs down, only to find out later that there was no real fire. The affected guests waited at the lounge for about 30mins as the alarm was still ringing. The firemen eventually came and turned off the alarm. The hotel did apologise for the inconvenience by pasting a notice in the lift and informed guests to reach out to them if there are any queries. It would be nice if the hotel can engage the affected guests more directly and possible provide some form of compensation as service recovery. Nonetheless, still a pleasant stay overall!

Ce que j'ai apprécié : 1. Même dans un hôtel moderne en ville, la cour intérieure et la verdure omniprésente donnaient une impression d'espace. 2. La chambre économique était spacieuse ; on pouvait y ouvrir les valises et le prix était très raisonnable. 3. L'enregistrement était à 16 h 00, je suis arrivé à 16 h 30 et, comme le lit n'avait pas encore été fait, on m'a accordé une heure supplémentaire pour le départ. Le service aimable, rapide et attentionné m'a mis à l'aise. 4. Vin rouge et blanc, service de bar : servi de 17 h 00 à 22 h 00, une longue durée, ce qui était appréciable. 5. Le salon commun au premier étage est ouvert toute la journée ; il suffit de ne pas déranger les autres clients tard le soir. 6. La salle de bain dispose de nombreuses étagères, très pratiques pour ranger ses affaires. Ce qui me préoccupe : Il y a beaucoup d'établissements aux couleurs sombres à proximité ; Il est plus sûr de rentrer à l'hôtel en groupe la nuit. Petits inconvénients : 1. L'insonorisation était un peu faible. 2. La salle de bain ne disposait pas de douche et de toilettes séparées. 3. Le sol était recouvert de moquette.

Le personnel de la réception avait des connaissances limitées sur les restaurants, les hébergements et les transports environnants, et n'a pas pu me faire de bonnes recommandations. Je suggère que l'hôtel imprime des dépliants et des informations sur les attractions touristiques, comme la façon d'aller au Lac du Soleil et de la Lune (avec l'adresse exacte pour acheter les billets et les horaires de départ) et des informations sur les sites touristiques de la ville. J'espère qu'ils seront disponibles en chinois et en anglais. L'hôtel est un peu trop strict et rigide sur l'heure d'enregistrement. Ils préfèrent laisser les clients attendre plus d'une heure sur le canapé à la réception par temps venteux, juste pour maintenir l'heure d'enregistrement à 16h00. Personnellement, je trouve que ce n'est pas très humain.
