Avis : The Ashbee Hotel

L'hôtel est très bien. Bien que la piscine ne soit pas grande, elle offre une belle vue. La réceptionniste est très sympathique et toujours prête à vous présenter les attractions et les restaurants. Le petit-déjeuner est également excellent. Vous pouvez le prendre face à la mer, et le personnel est également très accueillant. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très pratique. Il est situé juste à l'entrée de la ville, ce qui permet de rejoindre la vieille ville à pied en deux pas. Si vous vous y rendez en voiture, faites attention à l'entrée de l'hôtel pour ne pas la manquer. Si vous la manquez, vous devrez faire un long détour pour y revenir, car la rue est à sens unique. C'est un très bon hôtel qui m'a laissé de très bons souvenirs.

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Taormine. Services positifs, seul bémol : un 5 étoiles, n'ayant appelé la réception qu'une seule fois pour le ménage.

Un très bel hôtel à l'entrée de la ville avec quelques atouts. Il est possible de se garer (50€ par jour), la vue sur la baie est assez belle même si les deux troncs de palmiers proche de la piscine à débordement n'apporte rien et même si le toit de la partie muscu devrait être végétalisée pour mieux se fondre dans le parc. Le personnel est agréable. Ma chambre supérieure sans vue sur la mer est avec une terrasse et très confortable avec grand lit et grand écran avec chaine française. La salle de bains est très belle avec grand bloc baignoire douche. L'emplacement permet de se rendre en 20 min, ça monte un peu, vers l'amphithéâtre magnifique. Et rentrer dans cet hôtel après l'agitation urbaine est un luxe évident. Le petit dej se fait sur le toit de l'hôtel offrant une ville sur la baie et la ville, c'est très agréable cependant je dois dire que l'offre est un peu décevante. Je m'attendais à un peu plus de propositions, ce n'est pas abondant mais les produits sont de bonne qualité. L'espace piscine est très agréable dans un petit jardin qui donne envie de se poser avec des transats et des serviettes à disposition. Il n'y a pas une personne dédiée à cet espace donc bien évidemment vous retrouverez les éternels impolis qui bloquent les transats. Conclusion : un hôtel de très bonne qualité et chacun jugera du rapport qualité prix. En ce qui me concerne, je le trouve un peu démesuré même pour la haute saison. La ville a réussi à attirer les marques de luxe où tout est cher. Taormine est une sorte de st Tropez italienne sans intérêt sauf l'amphithéâtre qui est incroyablement beau.

Great service/ great location. Was made to feel welcome from check in to check out. Bruno, Augustin, and Tania at the front desk were warm , welcoming, and helpful. Bruno was invaluable in setting up a visit to the church of baptism for my paternal grandparents. Ivana in the restaurant for breakfast was friendly and professional. The location is perfect as it’s close to everything Taormina has to offer but the setting is quiet and peaceful as it is like an oasis where you can relax and enjoy. When looking for a hotel to stay in Taormina look no further.

This is the first class hotel, very well located, with an excellent staff, especially the personnel at the front desk. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and we enjoyed our morning breakfast from the rooftop of the hotel. My only complaint would be were the overall cost of the hotel which of course we knew about when we booked it, but it is a very expensive hotel and not really worth over $1000/nt. Also the shower consists of a rain type system with multiple rain shower heads. Unfortunately, the location of the rain shower heads are such that they interfere with the ability to grab your shampoos and/or to change the water pressure and temperature of the water. You feel a little like being in a typhoon while you’re taking your shower. Otherwise our experience was very good.

this hotel is located in Taormina, a very tourist attraction. the hotel is very close to all the activities. it is very private and only accessible to the guests. the grounds, the hotel and the rooms are beautiful. We felt like we were in our home. Only 23 rooms which makes the place special. the staff is amazing. special mention are Valentina, Dianna, Stefano, Emmanuelle, eleisa, denise and Miriam. we stayed in room 22 which turned out to be the date of anniversary which we celebrating.

An incredible hotel. The location, building and views are stunning. The staff are something else!! My wife unfortunately tripped near the hotel on the second of our seven nights, badly twisting her ankle and making it impossible to get up to our room on the second floor. The hotel manager offered us a family suite on the ground floor at no extra cost which was greatly appreciated, but it was the way all the staff went out of their way, every single day, to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible that stood out. In partcular Valentina, Emanuela and Stefano were simply wonderful. Well be coming back soon!!

We are just back from our stay at the Ashbee Hotel in Taormina and we are already missing it. We loved everything about it - our great room, beautiful grounds with stunning views, great breakfasts and most of all wonderful people who work there. We especially want to mention Denise and Bruno who helped us with all our needs including our excursion and transfer booking and our very friendly and helpful barman Stefano. We can't wait to go there again.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at The Ashbee Hotel. The staff are wonderful, the view is breathtaking, the hotel itself is beautiful….and the fact it is a 2 minute walk to the town centre is the clincher. A good choice at breakfast, the pool bar offering lovely snacks until 6:00pm They have their own 2 star Michelin Restaurant on the rooftop which we didn’t have time to visit. Will be back next year

Really beautiful hotel with excellent service. Wonderful views from the terrace and pool. Our only criticism is the lack of storage in the room (no chest of drawers or dressing table). The bathroom has no storage at all and there is nowhere in the bathroom or room to hang bathrobes. There is a sense of style over practically. But overall a lovely hotel and a wonderful stay.

The Ashbee Hotel is a beautiful property overlooking Messina. The infinity pool is the most beautiful pool I have ever seen. Mouth dropping. The hotel is a masterpiece and the staff is excellent. Especially, Miriam who was so sweet and kind! She really went above and beyond to ensure I had the best stay possible. I will be back. Thank you, Miriam!!

The place is a small boutique hotel with really nice accommodation, the rooms were neat and comfortable but a little bit small. The service was great, Danilo, Denise, and Miriam at the front desk were really kind and helpful we felt like home. Giulia and the ladies at the breakfast rooftop were really nice and they indulged us with every we ordered. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
