Mendolia Beach Hotel

It was a perfect stay in a charming hotel! The rooms (127, 121, 124) were comfortable, clean, there were plenty of towels the bed linens were crisp and quality. All the staff were attentive, helpful and always available. The view from the balcony was incredible. Even though we were facing a main roadway there was no street noise thanks to the triple glazed patio doors. We were a short walk from the cable car that brings you up to Taormina. Delivery of continental breakfast to our room was a highlight! Sipping coffee and enjoying a warm croissant on the balcony was decadent. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Mendolia Beach Hotel. The view from our balcony was amazing. We booked direct with the hotel which meant we had breakfast and access to the Beach Club included in the price of our stay. We thought this was great value considering the location, the view and the facilities at the Beach club. The room was clean and comfortable, with SKY tv an added bonus! Breakfast was brought to our room everyday which was delightful to sit and enjoy on the balcony! All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, with a special mention to Dario, who ensured all our needs were met. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and with an easy ride up to the Taormina town on the cable car. We would definitely return.

The most beautiful view from our terrace nice modern bathroom very clean good breakfast but should change it around a bit so not have the same breakfast everyday. Staff were lovely and we had our own entrance so felt like an apartment. Very enjoyable stay , highly recommend it.

This hotel was much nicer than we expected! The staff was really nice and helpful and the room so much bigger than we thought. We had no clue there was a terrace connected to our room as well as a balcony overlooking the beautiful Isola Bella! That made breakfasts great since there was none at the hotel but great takeaway places on the same street. The walk to the cable car is just 5 min and the restaurant opposite the hotel amazing. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone that wants a great comfortable place perfectly located by the beach and doesn’t mind using the cafe’s and mini market for breakfast!

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Friendly staff welcomed us. It is quite tricky to find parking. The street in front of the hotel is busy. The whole city of Taormina was extremely crowded at the time we were there. The receptionist helped us up with the luggage. The room was clean and spacious with a cute terrace and view over Isola Bella. The hotel is somewhat worn down, but most likely you are not going to spend a lot of time inside the room. The hotel offered a breakfast service which was served on our terrace every morning. This is recommended. The staff was friendly and made reservations to restaurants and suggested things to see/do. The beach is just a two minute walk from the hotel. The city of Taormina is up on the hill a 45 minute walk up / 20 minute down. As in other places with no pool, this was something we missed here. It really gets too hot at the beach and therefore it is nice to have a pool, but it is quite pricey in the area. That being said, We would definitely come back.

Mi capita di ritornare in questo posto ..ed è Sempre un tuffo al cuore. Posizione incantevole, proprio di rimpetto all’Isola Bella. Accoglienza Sempre al di sopra delle aspettative. Buon lavoro a Tutti e Grazie per le attenzioni a me dedicate.

Abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia per due notti in questo splendido hotel situato proprio di fronte ad Isola Bella. Siamo rimasti molto contenti sia della camera che presentava tutti i comfort che del personale dell'albergo estremamente gentile. Avendo prenotato direttamente dal sito dell'albergo abbiamo usufruito del servizio spiaggia gratuito. Riteniamo che la struttura abbia un rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. La vista dal balconcino della camera è MERAVIGLIOSA, l'unica nota negativa e dover andare via! Se avremo modo di ritornare a Taormina soggiorneremo sicuramente nuovamente in questo albergo.

Personale cordiale e disponibile, ottimo il ristorante, location bellissima . Acqua fredda ma pulitissima. Al ristorante abbiamo trovato davvero una vasta scelta tra primi, antipasti, secondi di carne e pesce e tutto quello che riguarda la cucina tipica siciliana! Lo consiglio!

Bisogna scendere per tempo perchè gli ombrelloni finiscono in fretta, ma siamo rimasti impressionati dall'organizzazione del lido, dalla spiaggia al ristorante fila tutto che è una meraviglia. Il posto è ovviamente favoloso, il cibo buono ed il personale divertente, ma che prezzi per la spiaggia...
