Amazing views and a comfortable stay. I came here as a child and loved it with the pony farm so close to the resort. The daily program given to you each morning is very nice for the whole family. Lovely pools for a nice sunny day, hiking trails to pools and caves which you can choose from and horse riding. We stayed in a studio and it was lovely for 2 people like a couple.

Spent four nights at Bushmans Neck log cabins, cabins were newly renovated, nice modern finishes. Enjoyed the outdoor pool, part of the pool is heated, the view over the pool towards the mountain is breathtaking. Ordered cocktails which was awesome. Played tennis and walked to the nearby animal farm and coffee shop. Will definitely recommend this resort for families with kids. Keep in mind the road to the resort is an approximate 30km dirt road.

This is a wonderful resort. Close to the mountains, fly fishing in the dam behind the property, wonderful walks and the log cabins are newly refurbished. Nespresso machine, glass hob & big fridge freezer rooms are huge and all with a view. Log burner keeps the entire cabin toasty in the cold evenings after a day either on the squash court, bowling green, heated pools, mini golf and tennis courts. The menus is good if you tire of self catering with a good lager or G&T on tap. The entertainments lady Semka is very relaxed and comply with the children either on a hike to the view point or hosting the family bingo. She is a an asset to the resort. Something small that was very big for me was my daughters birthday was the day after arrival. I asked in passing “any chance of a cake??” Sure Sir was the answer. The next morning we returned from a walk and on the dining room table was an iced chocolate cake with a birthday message piped on top. For me that’s big, thank you. Great all round.

Went there for 5 nights. Was an absolutely amazing setting with amazing views. The 2-bed cabin we stayed in was clean but would suggest the replacing the carpet. A red wine mark on a carpet walking in does not give the look of a place being cleaned. But that said, the whale place was really clean and neat, was impressed how all was cleaned well every day, not just on arrival. Kitchen a bit small, would have a like a cabinet for our groceries, but other than that it had everything you needed. Loved main bathroom size and beds were really comfortable. Rooms decent size The rest of hotel was also great, the grounds were always neat and being maintained/cleaned. The facilities was great, pool was nice and having the heated pool meant the kids swam most of the stay. The games room was a big hit, enjoyed playing table tennis and foosball again. They had daily activities where guests could join with other guests, which was great. It was a lot of fun playing volleyball, bingo etc. The whole fam enjoyed it. The best part of this place is the service. From cleaning personal to waiters, the service was amazing. The day before we arrived they called us to make sure of directions and gave us some info needed. Was a great touch. They arranged Fred to do an impromptu visit in week ( they only do the Fred dance on Saturday, the one day we were not there), which my son loved. The reception staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The only negative was that there were no wifi in the rooms but was mentioned they are working on it. All in all, an amazing place to go on holiday and can't wait to go back and bring the extended families with

The place is neat an the cabin is well equipped. The issue is with the staff.they seem to work long shifts an have no energy or need to assist.they all very confused an this is from management level down. They need to relook at there staff who do not know the times of opening an closing.

This resort is nestled in the mountains with the most amazing views but unfortunately the resort is in dire need of some maintenance and upgrades. The roof in the bed room was leaking when it is raining. With our suitcase getting wet within the bedroom. The rooms are cold with no airconditioning available, only a wood fireplace is available in the living room of the chalet. Some mobile networks does not have reception at the resort and the Wifi was not working most of the week we spend at the resort. This requires guests to travel to areas with reception to be able to receive emails. With all the power outages we were left a number of times without hot water and only hours later hot water is available again. This is unpleasant when returning from the swimming pool only to find that you cannot have a hor shower. The only highlight is the fireplace in the lounge and restaurant which is wonderful to spend evenings in front. Pig & Pony is within walking distance and worth going on a horse trail.

Cannot fault this fantastic property! Charmaine and her staff took care of a fairly "wild" wedding party that we were part of. Chalets are stunning with views on views. Accomdation was clean & had every amenity one might need. Staff were all so professional & happy to go the extra mile too accomadate. We were fairly loud after hours & sincerely apologize for this but non the less we were welcomed with big smiles & great food! Thanks again to Charmaine that went above & Beyond to cater out requests. Cannot wait to revist & have a beer with that stunning back drop. Thank you thank you thank you!

Set at the base of the mountain a beautiful scenic view. I booked a studio self catering room, it was short of nothing. From pots to pans, cutlery and even an espresso machine and hairdryer- very comfortable and cozy. A fireplace in the room and a braai station outside . Housekeeping kept the room tidy. The only thing was I felt the blanket a bit dusty but housekeeping immediately cleaned that up. The downside, it loadshed every day but there was back up generator except for the one night it stayed off and I couldn't even see my own fingers. The restaurant meal was tasty, really enjoyed it. There's is a game room and outside activities for kids. A rock heated pool and going in the dead of winter and with loadshedding guests didn't swim. The spa was an added advantage with guest vouchers. It will make a lovely holiday for kids. Horse riding is 5minutes away with an hours trail to the border post and waterfall. Great place for a picnic. Paintball is also at the same venue. Besides hiking ,horse riding and taking in the mountain views it's a nice place to relax. The staff are very friendly and they keep you updated on events or even remind you to order your meals. Interaction is great even with other guests. I had a splendid break.
