Excellent location and great service. The older gentleman on the desk was humorous and the young Turkish beautiful woman was so helpful. Highly recommend this 500 year old Hotel. Breakfast was top notch aswell. We traveled through Europe and Linz was our favorite place

I had a single room for one night in this hotel, traveling with friends as we biked the Danube path. This is an older, charming hotel with very personable staff. My room was small but interestingly furnished and the bathroom was great - large and very modern and spotlessly clean. My room was towards the back and did not face the square. It did not have air conditioning but the fan kept it very comfortable. The room was quieter than I expected. Breakfast was standard, in a lovely room. The location on the main square is perfect. I'd stay here again!

The Austria Classic Hotel Wolfinger is an excellent facility. The location could not be better -- right on the main square of the Old City with views of St. Ignatius church and the charming old square from the breakfast room for example. Sparkling clean. Nicely appointed bathroom. An absolutely excellent breakfast buffet with a huge range of options. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Discounts on parking at a nearby garage. Truly an great hotel.

A grand old house on the main square in Linz, this hotel has an air of a different time. Its great to be able to stay in such a place, and the furnishings suit the era. It makes for a very pleasant stay. Modern facities like wifi and heating are available, and the breakfast is nice too. The area is central and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. My room wad huge too, and made for a very nice stay. I would return again.

If you like to visit a cosy hotel in a historic building in the city center, different from uniform modern hotels, this is the place. Excellent service and breakfast. The bathroom was brand new. Be aware that the reception is on the first floor without lift!

I have stayed in Linz many times but this was my first stay at this hotel. I stayed with my two adult daughters and we shared a triple room. The furnishings are traditional, the room large and comfortable beds the shower room and we are separate and modern. We had breakfast included which was in a beautiful large and airy room overlooking the Hauptplatz. The buffet breakfast was delicious and constantly being refreshed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, I can highly recommend this hotel and will stay there when I next visit Linz. I dropped one star because of the many steps to the reception, it’s not something that can be altered but are difficult for the elderly or disabled. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one.

The hotel reception is on the first floor so not great suitable for guests with a disability. There is a lift in the hotel between 1st and 4th floor. The larger rooms are worth while. Plenty of space, coach, chairs and a desk. The rooms have modernised bathrooms and separate toilet (some with bidet). Great breakfast buffet in a pleasant a**osphere. 24/7 staff presence at the reception.

This hotel is excellent. It may be classified as a 3 start hotel, but the experience of staying here is five starts, if not more. This hotel should be a top option for a trip to Linz for most people. The building itself is an old building, but the rooms are renovated with new amenities. Our room was spacious and the bed was big and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice too. The location cannot be better, it is right on the main square. This is probably the most central location you could find in Linz. It is important to note that despite its central location it is quite at night. If we ever go back to Linz we will definitely choose this hotel again.
