Bravo Beach Hotel

The setting of the hotel is breathtaking with rooms overlooking the ocean. Chris checked us in and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. The villa is clean and functional with a lovely outdoor covered patio overlooking the water. The pool area was the highlight with the surrounding ocean view. The hotel provided beach chairs, towels and coolers and umbrellas to rent. The landscaping on the property provided more beauty.

This hotel was such a find. It was tucked in a neighborhood in Isabel II, not very far from the ferry. We stayed in Casa Roja in a one-bedroom suite. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. The bathroom was very spacious as was the bedroom. There is a table and chairs outside the unit which were perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Our daughter stayed in the main building with an amazing water view. Her balcony provided lots of light and wave sound therapy. This hotel takes pride in their cleanliness and staff is ready to help with any need you might have. The icing on the cake was the beach chairs, coolers and an ice machine. This place is a no brainer for a great beach vacation!

Stayed 5 Nights, room was clean and had everything we needed. Views from Suite and balcony were exceptional, sunsets, breezes, and the sounds constantly remind you that you're on vacation in a tropical paradise. Beaches and Eateries were easy to navigate and Esperanza was only a 20 min drive if you are planning the Bio-Bay Tour ( which I highly recommend! ) Carl ( the owner of the hotel) and Chris (who also handles the reception desk) are very nice and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Island and amenities. They have free chairs and coolers you can take to the beach which is really nice and umbrellas you can rent for a small fee. Definitely planning a return visit or two. Bravo Beach Hotel was perfect for us for 2 nights. Our room was upper floor waterfront. The beach is not swimmable, but it’s a beautiful view and you can hear the sound of waves all night. Very clean. I love that they have a code for your room door and no key to lose! Grounds were immaculate, groundskeeper was working there all day to tidy things up. 2 beautiful pools which was surprising for a small hotel, we didn’t have time to swim but if we had an extra day we would have! Very friendly. Provided beach towels. Has a serve your self first-come-first-serve supply of beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, floats, etc. We appreciated the chairs and a cooler for a day at the beach! It’s on a hill and we didn’t mind the 10-15 walk into town in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for a cocktail. We had a jeep to explore the rest of the island. If you’re planning on no vehicle, it would prob be a challenge but if you are renting a vehicle I highly recommend it! Lovely place lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bravo Beach hotel. Lovely pool front and oceanfront room. Enjoyed the courtyard 2nd pool and the rooftop lounge area as well. View was spectacular! Nice & clean room accommodations for our 3 night stay. Would stay again.

I highly recommend the Bravo Beach Hotel. The room was a bit of a splurge and it was well worth it. Although we couldn't swim in front of the hotel, it was really special having the ocean outside our room. The glass wall looking out on the Atlantic was spectacular, and having our own private balcony was very romantic. We watched a spectacular lightening storm over the ocean one night. Taking a late dip in the garden pool after a great dinner was also wonderful. Simple yet sleek room, plenty of towels and supplies, great shower, great bed, nice staff. Short walk from the ferry, but I recommend renting a car to get around the island. (The walk was a bit steep. I had hurt my knee, but I still made it!)

I had the upstairs ocean view room and honestly I can't wait to stay there again. There was some construction next door during my stay, but after 4pm it was silent. If you're concerned about that just ask before you book, but I'm thinking it can only bode well for future visitors. This room overlooks one, yes, I said one, of the two pools on the smallish property, but it closes in the evening so you only hear the ocean. The other pool stays open all the time if you need a midnight swim. Outside from the balcony of the room, the ocean is raging. It's spectacular. PROS! • Check-in, check-out, and property access in general was super easy, and Christopher is very helpful and polite • It's a 15 minute walk to town, or a 5 minute drive. Free parking. • The bed was very comfortable and I made use of the refrigerator for snacks because restaurants on Vieques don't stay open very late. • Air conditioning was perfect, and easily adjustable for your comfort level. • Bathroom is clean and there are standard toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body cleanser, two little bar soaps. • Beach towels already in your room • Coffee and drip machine in room, along with a bottle opener that came in handy! • Ice machine downstairs. I love an ice machine. No CONS, not really. Just some random tips for the hotel and Vieques in general. • The rooms have metal doors, so they get hot when the sun hits them, but it's not a problem and doesn't affect the temp of the room, just be aware if you have little ones or leave shoes or a chocolate bar near the door :) • Beach choirs and pool toys available for your stay...I didn't see them but I also didn't ask. • Reception isn't 24/7 if that's important to you. • I don't think there was beach access...but the other side of the island is easily reached by car and the best beaches are over there anyway.

We stayed in the La Luna de Miel Suite for 8 nights and it was AMAZING. The Ocean views are to die for and the private patio is nice for hanging out in the mornings and evenings. The room, common areas, and pools are very clean and kept up well. The Owners, Carl & Janna are so nice and helpful in giving advice and planning while on the island. Many great recommendations came from them when we were trying to decide on activities for the day. The location is great too - we had a jeep for most of the time we were there, but enjoyed the short walk into town for dinner each night. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and always felt safe (except for a hostile goose in the area-he was pretty mean haha!). Beach chairs and coolers (and an ice machine to fill said coolers with ice) were provided free of charge to use for your beach days, which I don't think is super common on the island - so kudos to Bravo Beach for thinking of the little things that make our vacation even more stress free. Vieques as a whole is a pretty special place and hard to leave..... How much we loved staying at Bravo Beach Hotel made leaving even harder. We're already looking at booking our next trip at Bravo Beach!

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it! We stayed across from the main property in the Casa Roja, and the view of the ocean was spectacular. We loved having separate bathrooms for each bedroom and having a kitchen and living area was an added bonus. There was a beautiful huge private terrace outside our room to sit and listen to the waves and take in the view. There was plenty of free parking and snorkel/beach equipment to borrow. Although the beach is not a swimming beach, one of the pools is right up against the beach with a wonderful view. It's walking distance from the main restaurant and shopping area and even from the ferry terminal. The location is fantastic. Vieques and this hotel were the highlight of our trip, and I would stay here again without hesitation.
