Epic Tamarindo Boutique Hotel

The place was very nice, quiet and the breakfast was delicious, but the best thing are the rooms (specially the bed). We had a lot of fun in Epic and we loved the private pool in the room and also the Hotel pool next to the deck with a garden view. I can recommend it.

Our family had a fantastic 2 nights stay at this boutique hotel run hy Arnold. The experiences we had far exceeded our expectations and superceded our stays at other luxury hotels in Costa Rica. Arnold had provided many helpful tips for the family to visit the areas, including some amazing beaches, as well as prepared the best breakfast and dinner we had in Costa Rica. We plan to come back to this hotel and it is highly recommended for anyone travel in Costa Rica with a car.

An amazing last minute find for our family. The hotel is brand new and a great value for large rooms and stunning modern architecture with nice outdoor spaces. The Hotel There are about 10 adult suites and 6-7 two bedrooms villas on property. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. The modern architecture of the villas is spectacular and includes a small living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a powered room, and indoor/outdoor showers. The beds are comfortable with great linens and pillows. Great A/C also. The upper area of the hotel has a beautiful pool and open air kitchen where you can have coffee and breakfast (with morning Champagne if you like). There is also a small bar for a pre dinner cocktail. The lower section of the hotel has the adult suites which have plunge pool and large couch and living area and small kitchen. On property, peacocks roam the grounds. The Location Epic is about a 10 minutes drive to central Tamarindo. We would definitely recommend having a rental car if you are wanting to explore and go into town. While its 10 minutes from the beach and not walkable to town, its nice to be staying just out of town out also. The property is located behind two security gates and is very quiet in the evening. We had a great meal at Aqua Salada which was only about 6-7 minutes away. Also Playa Avellanas is a fun surf beach with a great beach restaurant (Lolas). The Owner/Manager (Arnold) is super accommodating and friendly. We had a great time hanging out with him and he had good recommendations. We look forward to seeing him again.

This place really MADE our stay in Tamarindo. Such a beautiful oasis to come home to after a day on the beach, in town or an activity. The 6 villas are huge and just beautifully designed. Great, big beds, lots of wardrobe space, and all the amenities you need. And everything brand new. Lovely pool, and 6 inhouse peacocks roaming the property. When we arrived the had champagne on ice waiting for us on the kitchen counter. The place is run by a married couple. The wife is an excellent chef. They make breakfast, lunch or dinner for you if you want, and they truly bent over backwards to make our stay perfect; Helped us book fishing trip, katamaran cruise, restaurants and giving us advice on everything. They do not have a full bar, just wine and beer. They are aiming for a calm and relaxing atmosfere, and not a partyscene. We had originally booked only 3 nights. Ended up staying for 6. I absolutely LOVED my time at Epic Tamarindo! They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of in every way. They even helped me move my car in the middle of the night! Thanks again for that! Our suite was stunning! My favourite part was caming home everyday to find the most beautiful peacocks just wondering around. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you so much for everything! I’ll definitely be back!

We had the absolute BEST time at Epic. The accommodations are stunning and Arnoldo truly went above and beyond to make our stay as amazing as possible - offering yummy wines poolside, helping us find transportation and also booking me a surfing lesson. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the food. We had the most amazing, fresh meals onsite. Can’t wait to return.

Un lugar como su nombre bien lo amerita ! Épico , una paz que se deja sentir en todo el hotel invitando a quedarse para descansar y disfrutar de cada detalle con el que está hecho! La experiencia de las comidas con la Chef Mariela son increíbles, comida deliciosa y un carisma inigualable , la atención recibida por Arnoldo en cada detalle ha sido impecable. Si eres amante del buen vino , este es el lugar para probar etiquetas de 5 estrellas , botellas de gama alta simplemente deliciosas. Nos recibieron en la habitación hermosa y cómoda con una botella de champagne. Mis favoritos los pavo reales , hermosas criaturas que andan por la propiedad luciendo su belleza. Definitivamente una experiencia única digna de recomendar y repetir. Un lugar familiar , para compartir con amigos , tranquilo y lujoso. Una joya en medio de Tamarindo donde se puede disfrutar de las playas muy cerca del hotel. Nos encantó !
