Aspiring Lodge Motel

地理位置很好，離Wanaka湖很近。就是也不明白，這個全木的房子，不停的嗶嗶叭叭的響。訂房的時候看到過網友説這個問題，也沒在意，但自己住進去就感覺很大聲，晚上睡眠需要安靜的朋友要注意啦。 而且Motel感覺有點舊，都沒有拍照😅

酒店地理位置不錯，出門就是大花園，走到瓦那卡樹10分鐘。緊靠着一個大超市。衞生也不錯，房間夠大，有微波爐。沒有早餐。

Amazing location, that was by far the highlight. Building is in much need of a makeover. Everything is old, run down and gross. Curtains were moldy in both shower and bedroom area. Grime in corners of bathroom., just icky! Smoke detector looked like it was purchased in the 90s doubt if it worked, if it did it would long be expired. We stayed in 8 different places on our holiday and this was by far the worst and for nearly $300 a night I expected much more! It came across to us that the owners only cared about $$$ not the safety of their customers or providing them with a pleasant experience. Such a shame.

Average hotel. All basic facilities like kitchenette etc is available. Reception only 10 am to 6 PM. No daily house keeping g and no attached restaurant. Very close to the centre restaurants and the lake. Bus pick up and drop is 5 minutes walk. May not recommend for stay.

Right in the center of Wanaka, only a few minutes walk to the lake and restaurants, with a huge supermarket right beside the motel. Beautiful wood interior, but you must be aware of the downside as they can create wood cracking sound during sunrise when temperature gets higher, so don't be alarmed by that. The beddings are comfortable, wifi is fast and shower is strong. Overall this is a great value and convenient place to stay in Wanaka

We stayed for three nights. The room on the first floor had a view of the mountain. All amenities in place. However, there is zero service/help available even for seniors. Obviously, there is a shortage of staff. The locational advantage to grocery stores and restaurants is a plus point.

Good Points. Comfortable bed, spacious room, good shower, great location, free parking if you are one of the first 9 cars in. Bad Points. The whole structure creaks all day and night and wakes you up regularly. We booked a kitchenette and found a one burner electric plate in the cupboard where the heat was useless. The baby refrigerator was so small we had to buy ice each day for our tiny portable cooler. The place is worn out, carpet needed a shampoo, base of the shower was not clean, furniture was dusty and balcony furniture filthy. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations next room. Fortunately we spent as little time as possible in the room during the lengthy stay. Certainly overpriced for what we received and maintenance is overdue.

it is a family running hotel the hotel is due for a renovation, water in the bathroom won't flow. the pictures of the hotel provided was 20 years ago the location is good, it is in the town center. walking distance to supermarket

This motel has a lot to recommend it, lovely airy room, balcony, limited cooking facilities, large comfortable bed, sofa and brilliant shower. There was also a limited view of the mountains. In the summer I would recommend this hotel. Unfortunately we visited in spring. Not sure of building construction but there were very regular loud cracking sounds, probably caused by contraction or expansion of materials. This possibly due to the fact that during our stay the temperature varied from -3°C to 15°C, daily. These noise startled us during the day and woke us up during the night. Heating was also an issue with just a convection heater, which we didn't feel could be left on at night, so room got very cold. High apex ceiling meant large area to heat. Minor gripe would be that whilst I don't mind just having a shower, if they advertise a bath then I expect one, not just a deep shower tray (about 1 meter sq) which even if you could use it can only be filled by using the shower, how long would that take. Finally just to say that the room cleaning staff were very helpful
