Premier Inn Watford North

The worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed in. Great location for Harry Potter but that’s it. They over booked family rooms without notifying guests. It was just updated the day before. I spent an hour on the phone trying to find out what was going on when my room had been changed to a double with a cot from a family room. We had a double with extra beds so very little space and they didn’t have enough pillows for guests so we only had 1 each. Found a mini egg under the desk so clearly hadn’t been hoovered well. The shower and behind the taps were dirty. The bed springs were broken so it made an awful creaking noise when I had to crawl off the end of the bed because there wasn’t enough space to get out of one side due to the extra beds. The room needed a few repairs where there were holes in the wall. The restaurant is tiny with a very limited menu so we ate at TGI’s opposite. Breakfast in the morning was barely warm. If we went to Harry Potter again I would try Watford Central a few miles up the road. We’ve stayed at a lot of Premier Inns and this was by far the worst.

Great location, great staff, good price. We had another great stay at this little gem. Fab location for HP tour. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Take your charging plugs for charging cables, as no USB sockets in the rooms, but a small inconvenience in such a lovely stay.

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast (children for free!), parking space outside. Double bed could have been wider, but for 1 night it's okay.

The room smelt damp on arrival, but I was working 12 hour shifts so I didn't look around it much when I did I found there to be mould on the walls by the window and in the bathroom see photos. The room was not cleaned, bins emptied or given fresh towels in the 4 nights I was there. The carpark is crowded and it strangely seems to used partly as a scrap yard as there are a few obviously abandoned cars in there.

Very friendly staff lovely food amazing room will be back in the near future 😀 had a very pleasant 4 days stay here only bad thing 1 of the lifts was broken the hole stay being on top floor wasn't good lift was down

Service is what this hotel is all about - absolutely amazing service thanks to the wonderful staff - nothing was too much trouble and they ensured we had a fantastic stay. Rooms are excellent with strong showers and the breakfast is highly recommended and excellent value for money. Dinner menu is rather limited but with so many options within walking distance was not an issue.

As soon as I arrived at this Premier Inn Hotel the staff were very welcoming & friendly, Jennifer on the main desk was extremely helpful & gave clear instructions where my room was, it was a very pleasant stay my room was clean & tidy I got a good nights rest & the breakfast was especially good, just what you need to start a busy day,
