Premier Inn Ashford Central

Even though this room had the benefits of an AC unit, it appears its for show not for use. The room was uncomfortable due to chilly, however I could not get it to respond even to instructions left, the fins and blade moved, but no heat. Complained to reception, he said he had to activate it there, which he said he did, however no difference at all. Shame as I stay in Prem Inn as the preferred, however this is happening a lot lately especially with the old electric panel heater. Not good enough. May start to look at alternatives rather than my normal "go to" choice.

Always rely on Premier Inn great rooms bedding perfect & great showers. Great prices highly recommended my preferred choice

We’ve stayed here a few times now. The last visit we were out in the annexe. Quieter, but, the shower cubicle was unpleasant. Very dirty. We prefer the older part where there’s a bath tub. The hotel is a bit dated, but apart from our last visit, have found it clean.

Booked a room for a nights stay as we was in the area and had planned to go ashford outlet the next day. Didn’t expect much as the room was relatively cheap but a room that absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke was not the one!! We did ask reception if there was any other rooms which we was told no and the receptionist also didn’t ask if everything was ok. Won’t be staying here again.

The room was basic but clean, large enough for a family and had everything we needed. There was a well lit mirror with plug socket, so good. A simple thing but something a lot of hotels lack. Lots of shelves, hangers & coat hooks. A sofa bed & TV, all that is needed. Staff were friendly. We were able to pay extra for an 11am room entrance which was a godsend as we had little time to get ready for a wedding. Lovely sleep in a comfy bed. I’ll always choose PI if staying away.

Overall very happy with my most recent of 3 stays at Ashford Central. I received a warm welcome with friendly staff who got me checked in quickly and efficiently. When it came to breakfast it was just as if expect it to be. Previously, there had been a hot buffet, but this had been replaced with table service. This doesn’t bother me either way. However, although all the rooms I have stayed in here have been clean and tidy, there is a noticeable difference in room quality. One part of the hotel (I believe) is older than the other, in the older part the rooms are outdated in comparison, and not as comfortable. All the rooms should be the same spec when your paying the same fee! All rooms could have a mini fridge in as well for the convenience for the guests. Overall I’m very happy with my stay, although when I come back, I’ll be requesting one of the newer rooms!!

The hotel was great as expected as we have stayed there a number of times, good room and very helpful staff. The part that lets it down is the Table Table Restaurant which is poor for the quality and availability for both evening meal and breakfast which is why we stopped to eat prior to arriving there. The only thing that lets this Premier Inn down is the restaurant.

We stayed here as it’s 10 minutes from our friends. The reception staff were lovely and friendly. When I spoke to her about how cold our room was she sorted it immediately. However the corridor on the second floor where we were staying smelt old and dirty. It smelt of old peoples homes or school halls. Really not nice. The room is tired but clean. The bed is in a totally wrong position for the tv. To be fair I think that when the premier inns started they were excellent value for money. But now you’re staying in dated unkept hotels that can be reasonable priced but at other times are very expensive. However our room was clean and had plenty of towels. But it’s in desperate need of a revamp and to smell better.
