Avis : Holiday Inn York

This hotel location is good but not in city walking distance. If not driving, can take bus in front of hotel. Hotel provide free parking. Nice decoration and breakfast is really good.

This is definitely not the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. The staff weren’t very friendly, and the facilities are quite old. The walls are not soundproof at all, we could clearly hear the neighbors closing their doors and people moving in the hallway. The breakfast was okay, but again, the staff weren’t very friendly.

Really impressed with our hotel room . After reading some reviews I was really dreading our stay  Friendly efficient staff  Lovely big clean room  Comfy bed  Nice shower gel etc  Perfect for the races  ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Next to the park run. Bus stops to town center just few minutes walk away. In general it was a nice hotel experience.

Cleanliness and tidiness impressed me most. The reception service is brilliant and staff are always with smiling faces. I will suggest to my friends and family to stay in Holiday Inn York whenever they visit York.

When checked in and arrive the room 17:00 there were used glasses cups left on the floor out side of the room until next day. They didn’t clean the room and bath towels were not changed .

Excellent location to get an Uber into the city or walk to the races, amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay there again for sure

We had brilliant friendly helpful service especially from Joe and rest of team who sorted out a couple of small issues. Much appreciated. Very comfy hotel great for sharing a twin room with great parking and very good for dog too. Great breakfasts as well.

"I am a chef and I travel a lot, staying at many different properties. This is my third time staying at a Holiday Inn, but I really do not like it. The only Holiday Inn property I enjoyed was in the Maldives; it was very nice. Now, I'm worried that the Maldives property might be similar to the others, so I’m hesitant to stay there again. Please don’t ask me why I don’t like it, as there are many reasons. I just don’t feel that Holiday Inn meets the standards of a 4-star property. I believe that some non-branded 4-star properties are better than Holiday Inn."

The room is dark and cold, and I book for 3 guests there is only 2 bottle of water in the room. The bathroom drain is drain.

Room is clean. Free parking available. Location not too far from town centre. Worth money spent

The hotel was perfect for our overnight stay in York. We booked breakfast and evening meal and the food was really good. Definitely use again.
