Antares Hotel

Ich musste am Morgen schon vor 07:30 Uhr abreisen, konnte somit das Frühstück (welches am Samstag ab 07:30 Uhr offeriert wurde) nicht geniessen, ich habe aber als Alternative am Vorabend ein "Lunch-Paket" mit einem Sandwich, Früchten und einem Ei bekommen.

Located about 1 km from the train station with a great view of the Matterhorn . That’s where the positives end. It needs some repair and new staff. Breakfast was awful- one start member run off her feet stale pastries , little fruit- cereal was good bread chews and cold meats not fresh The toilet roll holder was broken in the room as were the block out screens out side and the hot tap in the shower.

Very disappointing and unsympathetic response from hotel. My husband was very unwell and unfit to travel but as we had a ‘non refundable’ booking they wouldn’t refund. They suggested maybe I might come with someone else! This despite having told me a few days earlier that we had the last room in the hotel!

It’s hard to write a review not knowing what impact the dreaded corona has had on the hotel, so I want to try and be fair and consider this. For anyone with any worries ref the dreaded C know that all the staff, and the hotel were doing everything to manage this for you. The good, has to be the friendly, and very helpful staff, they were always happy to do anything to make your stay easy, and enjoyable. The view of the Matterhorn from the hotel was also exceptional, I don’t know if you will beat it within the resort, make sure you take a room with one of these views. Internet for all those who need to remain connected was also very fast, and reliable. Very close to the main cable car to the ski area, so if you want to walk out of your hotel and instantly get on the card to ride those white waves it’s perfect.§ The bad, we found the hotel very outdated, even for Swiss standards, it really needs some TLC to live up to being a 4 star. There were hairs in the Bath that hadn’t been cleaned out properly. If this hotel had a makeover to give it a lick of paint, new carpets, and some General TLC it could really be a jewel. Being in a good position for the lift meant being right at the edge of the resort, and with no bar available (due to corona) expect a small walk down in to town to enjoy the restaurants, and bars. Also note, if you weren’t already aware, there are no cars allowed in the resort, so consider how you will get from Täsch to the hotel

Con mio marito e mia figlia di 10 anni, abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima settimana in questo albergo consigliatoci da amici, la posizione è molto comoda, con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti si raggiunge il centro del paese mentre gli impianti di risalita per il Matterhorn Glacier Patadise sono a 100 metri, la colazione è varia e abbondante servita in una sala con vista sul cervino, il personale è professionale e disponibile su tutto, buona pulizia giornaliera della camera con ottima biancheria da bagno e letti comodi e per finire una deliziosa piccola spa per un po’ di relax pomeridiano, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per essere a Zermatt. Un grazie speciale allo chef Gaetano per le ottime colazioni, a Miriam per gli ottimi cappuccini e al simpaticissimo direttore Samuel che coccola tutti i suoi clienti.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.. Renovation nötig... Zimmer war schmutzig, durch die Reklamation bekamen wir ein *neues* Zimmer nicht umbedingt besser. Personal war freundlich, Frühstück war OK...

In 20 anni non è mai cambiato,si vede che ha perso una stella,almeno così riportava booking,mentre i tendoni dell’hotel ne segnavano sempre 4. Colazione non abbondante,una volta era ottima,questa è deludente,preferibile andare in qualche patisserie. Stanza pulite e staff gentile,tranne una persona che è stato poco gentile. Per quello che ho trovato il rapporto qualità prezzo non è buono. Posizione buona,15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Avevo chiesto la gentilezza di inviatmi uno shuttle alla stazione ,una volta lo avevano ma mi hanno risposto che non c’era. Poi per le strade ne ho visto uno con su scritto Antares 4 stelle,adesso non so se era di un altro hotel,se era il loro con il numero di stelle errato e se quando l’ho richiesto ,intendevano dirmi che fosse occupato. Comunque sono rimasto deluso dalla struttura.Andando spesso a Zermatt credo che la prossima volta lo eviteró. Breakfast not abundant, once it was excellent, this is disappointing, preferable to go to some patisserie. Clean room and nice staff, except one person who was unkind. For what I found the value for money is not good. Good location, 15 minutes walk from the station. I had asked for the kindness to send me a shuttle to the station, once they had it but they replied that it wasn't there. Then on the streets I saw one with Antares 4 stars written on it, now I don't know if it was from another hotel, if it was theirs with the wrong number of stars and if when I asked for it, they meant to tell me it was busy. However I was disappointed with the structure. Going to Zermatt often I think I will avoid it next time.
