Pas besoin de prendre de petites ruelles, l'hôtel est à quelques pas. Pas besoin de traîner les bagages et de porter les enfants dans les ruelles, c'est parfait pour les familles ! En bas se trouve une rue animée avec des spécialités locales : nouilles de riz de Guilin, poisson à la bière, et toutes sortes de petites merveilles culinaires à découvrir facilement. Pas besoin d'aller loin pour savourer la gastronomie locale. L'environnement de l'hôtel est élégant et confortable, avec un design remarquable. Les espaces communs sont propres et bien rangés, parfaits pour de jolies photos. Le personnel de l'hôtel est chaleureux et attentionné, que ce soit pour le check-in ou pour des conseils sur les itinéraires touristiques, ils sont toujours disponibles. Il y a aussi une laverie et une aire de jeux pour enfants. Pendant que les enfants s'amusent comme des fous, les parents peuvent se détendre complètement, un vrai soulagement ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses, avec des baies vitrées offrant une vue imprenable sur la rue de l'Ouest, la lumière et la vue sont exceptionnelles. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais délicieux, avec une grande variété de choix. Les enfants sont ravis et les adultes aussi sont satisfaits.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits avec nos enfants et avons été ravis de notre expérience. L'hôtel offre un cadre magnifique avec vue sur la montagne depuis la fenêtre, et il est très bien situé. Un service de navette gratuit est disponible pour se rendre à West Street. De plus, il y a une rue gastronomique à proximité, ce qui est très appréciable ! La chambre était très propre et des fruits de bienvenue étaient offerts. Les équipements étaient complets, avec un stérilisateur. Le lit était ni trop mou ni trop dur, très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux, avec des options chinoises et occidentales, et même des nouilles de riz de Guilin préparées sur place, de quoi bien se rassasier. L'hôtel dispose également d'une piscine extérieure, d'un court de tennis et d'une aire de jeux pour enfants. La piscine extérieure a particulièrement plu à nos enfants, je recommande cet hôtel aux familles !

”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby lounge area, there was a sense we were in for an elevated experience. I must say, as someone unaccustomed to booking small boutique properties, that I had my fears and doubts. Walking into the lobby lounge almost erased all of those worries. The first thing that one notices immediately is how clean everything is - from the pool and lawn area, to the lobby itself, and then the rooms. It really brings a sense of calm and ease. With everything in the hotel there is so much intention and thoughtfulness to the details that make the experience so zen-like. This isn’t merely a property that wants to imitate a certain aesthetic in a cosmetic way, but rather something with a soulful integrity to it in the choice of materials that work in harmony. My kids loved their stay here and even made several new friends; they all had fun running around the pool, or playing in the playground area. The playground itself is very simple, but with a group of kids even a simple playground comes to life. The property is situated right along the Yulong River and throughout the day you see bamboo rafters drifting down the river and my wife found this very relaxing. The pool is gorgeous. It’s also very observably clean. While it was a bit chilly, my kids couldn’t resist and took a dip. While my elder child was able to handle the cold and swam quite a while, my younger one ended up in the bathtub on the balcony where I filled it with warm water so he had a chance to splash about as well. The property is also nestled amongst the tall karst mountains and you have an intimate view of them. As far as being a picture perfect property, this is as close as it gets. As for practical matters: toilets were clean with bidet function; we never had an issue with hot water; all electric sockets were universal; the appliances all worked as expected. Now, no property can be perfect and there are things that might be a matter of preference or interpretation. For me, I would say the rooms are cosier than the pictures might indicate. To be clear, the photos are accurate as far as how the rooms look and feel and also the layouts. But the photos are shot with a wide-angle lens, so just expect a slightly tighter lived-in experience. On this platform, the listed size of the rooms are large. For instance I believe the room I booked is listed at 100 metres squared; this, to me, most certainly includes the terrace as the indoor space doesn’t match my experience of 100 metres squared. The rooms are designed to maximise a sense of airiness and space which creates a lovely atmosphere, but of course this comes with some sacrifices. With my room, to achieve a more open feel, there is no partition separating the washroom area from the living room area. As a family this wasn’t a big deal, but if you’re staying with a friend this could be potentially awkward but also easily manageable. The food is terrific and the portions are generous. For some, they might find the breakfast somewhat repetitive (as some other reviewers have commented) but my family had no issues and rather looked forward to breakfast here! The coffee is also terrific. Really. I ended up buying the beans they use for their coffees. The lunch/dinner menu is also strong, although for children it can be a bit limiting although the staff do try to make accommodations as far as spice levels, etc. All in all, I would easily stay here again. It is true that the price point is on the higher end for Yangshuo, and that some people might not see the pure bang for your buck value in it, but if you’re looking for a headache free, clean, zen-like experience with picturesque views, I can’t recommend this property enough.

Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

Cette maison d'hôtes familiale offre un confort digne des plus grands hôtels. Le personnel, aux petits soins, s'est montré incroyablement attentionné, aimable et prévenant. Ils nous ont même offert le thé et des cocktails l'après-midi, contribuant à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. La maison d'hôtes bénéficie d'un cadre magnifique, de chambres spacieuses et impeccables, et d'une vue imprenable sur la rivière Yulong et les montagnes depuis le balcon. À proximité, vous pourrez faire du rafting en bambou sur la rivière Yulong, et en une demi-heure, vous rejoindrez la rue Yangshuo Ouest, le site pittoresque de la rivière et des montagnes des Mille Milles et le mont Xiangong. Si vous visitez Yangshuo et recherchez un hébergement confortable pour profiter des beautés locales, ne manquez pas la maison d'hôtes Ya Yuan !

Nous avons vraiment fait le bon choix en optant pour cet hôtel pour nos vacances. Le design général est exceptionnel, et en ouvrant la fenêtre, on découvre une vue imprenable sur la montagne. La piscine à débordement fait face au paysage montagneux, donc pas besoin de filtre pour les photos. Le personnel, de l'enregistrement aux services ultérieurs, a été attentionné et prévenant. Le petit-déjeuner était bien plus varié que ce que j'avais imaginé, et même les spécialités locales étaient authentiques. C'est très pratique pour visiter les attractions des environs et acheter des souvenirs. Après trois jours, je ne voulais absolument pas partir, et j'ai déjà recommandé cet établissement à mes amis qui prévoient de venir à Guilin ou Yangshuo. J'avais lu des commentaires sur des problèmes de propreté des toilettes, mais cette fois-ci, je n'ai rien constaté de tel. Au contraire, les salles de bain étaient impeccables et sans le moindre recoin sale. J'ai appris par la suite que les toilettes avaient auparavant des dépôts jaunâtres dus à l'utilisation prolongée d'eau de puits souterraine, et qu'il était impossible de les nettoyer. Pour améliorer le confort et l'expérience des clients, l'hôtel a rapidement commandé et remplacé toutes les toilettes par de nouvelles. De plus, l'approvisionnement en eau de l'hôtel a été entièrement remplacé par l'eau de la ville. L'efficacité de l'hôtel est vraiment impressionnante ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui ont des projets de voyage prochainement !

Pour les voyageurs en solo, l'hébergement était globalement excellent. Tout d'abord, son emplacement est idéal : à cinq minutes à pied de West Street, il offre un calme absolu, loin du bruit et de l'agitation nocturnes. J'ai ainsi pu dormir paisiblement jusqu'à midi la première nuit. La chambre était également très propre et le personnel extrêmement accueillant. Je recommande vivement cette charmante maison d'hôtes !

La chambre fut une merveilleuse surprise ! La décoration était raffinée, avec de charmants détails. Propre et bien rangée, elle offrait une literie confortable. Le balcon offrait une vue imprenable sur la rivière Li et ses eaux claires, ainsi que sur les montagnes verdoyantes qui s'étendaient juste derrière la fenêtre – un véritable moment de détente que de contempler le paysage. L'emplacement était calme et pratique, à quelques minutes à pied de la rue de l'Ouest. Le service était attentionné et prévenant, contribuant à un séjour confortable et sans souci. Un incontournable à Yangshuo !

À tous ceux qui voyagent en voiture, allez chez elle !!! Le stationnement est pratique, et le service est excellent ! Nous sommes venus ici sur un coup de tête, car l'environnement des auberges à proximité était vraiment trop mauvais. Se garer était trop difficile !!!!! Soit il n'y avait pas de place, soit c'était juste trop compliqué de se garer à Guilin. Cet établissement dispose d'un grand parking gratuit, ainsi que d'un service de recharge. Petit conseil amical : il est vraiment difficile de se garer près de la colline de l'Éléphant et des tours jumelles. Écoutez mes conseils, nous y sommes allés, puis nous avons dû revenir chercher notre voiture. C'est tellement pratique de prendre un vélo partagé pour 1,5 yuan les 8 minutes, c'est génial ! Service : Nous sommes arrivés en pleine nuit. La demoiselle à la réception a été très attentionnée, son service a grandement apaisé nos émotions négatives causées par l'auberge précédente. Au départ, elle nous a donné des conseils touristiques. Le riz au vermicelle du petit-déjeuner était délicieux et typique, et le répulsif anti-moustiques offert à la sortie a vraiment été efficace 🤣 Hygiène : Très propre, vraiment impeccable. Environnement : L'emplacement est excellent, on peut voir de grandes montagnes depuis les étages supérieurs. Le parking gratuit est un vrai plus, c'est tellement difficile de se garer là-bas. Équipements : Très bons. Conciergerie/Service de majordome 24h/24 : La vitesse de réponse du service client WeChat est la plus rapide que j'aie jamais vue. Le service est vraiment bien meilleur que celui de nos hôtels à Sanya. Je n'ai jamais bénéficié d'un tel service vraiment *** même dans des hôtels étoilés. La prochaine fois qu'un ami viendra et ne saura pas où loger, je lui recommanderai certainement cet endroit. La dame nous a aidés à ranger nos pantoufles trempées et nous a donné de nombreux conseils. J'en ai pleuré ! Les paysages de Guilin sont les meilleurs sous le ciel, la prochaine fois je reviendrai pour y passer plus de temps.
