Edward was helpful and kind just like what other review said. Needed a place close to the airport for the next day super early flight.
Yes you for sure will hear airplane even late at night. That didn’t bother us as we are deep sleepers.

The hotel is great and the staff is even greater.
The overall decoration of the whole premisses is very beautiful and there's a nice garden facing all rooms.
The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom has a good size and the bath space is big. The shower has a good volume of water and the heating works fine.
The room also has a closet, a drying rack for clothes (very helpful with all the hot springs and rain), a small fridge and air conditioning.
There are two pools and they are well cleaned.
But the staff is the real highlight of the hotel. Everyone is super friendly, polite and helpful. They cook an amazing breakfast and can also help finding the best tours.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay at La Fortuna.
Highly recommended.

Smoking zone is outside the hotel so you have to walk a lot
Pools are great but lots of kids

Very close to airport with frequent airport shuttle service. It is also opposite to the car rental company (we use Hertz) so very convenient upon returning the car.

La habitación era un sueño hecho realidad. Una estancia muy acogedora y agradable. La atención fue máxima. Servicio de colada que dejó todo perfecto y cena en el propio hotel, siendo uno de los sitios más valorados de la zona. 10 de 10

IInvitéWe arrived to find a beautiful hotel
In a lush setting with the most beautiful foliage with tropical birds. The grounds were a paradise. Every morning we were serenaded with the songs of all the different bird species. The restaurant was an excellent Italian restaurant that we would recommend to anyone. The staff was always happy to provide any assistance with a smile.

Un supermarché important a été ouvert en 2024 dans les environs
Il y a un grand centre commercial, donc même à proximité de l'aéroport, la position est très bonne!
le petit déjeuner buffet est également disponible au Costa Rica,
Le niveau global est très élevé ✨

IInvitéWe had a wonderful experience with Casa Luna! The hotel property is beautiful with an amazing garden. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious!
The hotel staff are very nice and ready to help. One night we were walking in the garden, we ran into a hotel security, Dimas (hope I got the name right). We asked about animals. Dimas right away gave us a tour and showed us so many animals! We saw sloth, snake, frogs (including the green one), alligator, fresh water crab...all in the hotel garden!!! The garden is a paradise. Inside the hotel property, all we could hear was the sounds of insects, frogs, birds...
We are so happy that we stayed at Casa Luna!

LLouise MarieI read summer great reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. There are small trails on the property. Stunt get excited, they are small but you are not next to another building! The pool is nice but not heated. If you are from the NE US, you are used to it. Or was refreshing especially after being in the sun for a bit. The hotel is nicely kept but more of a local style which I prefer more than the standard hotel room. The room is beautiful and the bed is comfy. You can't go wrong here. Many people I met do the same thing, spend the last night in Costa Rica before flying out. Very secure, not much near, but the best ends to your pura vida vacation.

IInvitéThe private room we stayed in was very comfortable and the small yard/garden is beautiful, and the owner is exceptional helpful. It is near the SJO airport, they provided transportation services for our arrival and leaving, in addition there are many attraction suggestions available by the owner, we bought one of the attractions, it was great. We're very happy to stay in this house, and will definitely come back again when visiting Costa Rica in the future.. almost forgot to mention that that breakfast is included and $6 for lunch which is a great price for one in the city, we had fish for lunch which was delicious.

IInvitéC'est incroyable, je veux revenir ! Les eaux chaudes étaient étonnantes, j'aime l'option d'avoir au moins un des eaux chaudes ouvertes 24/7, ils changent chaque nuit pour des fins de nettoyage, ils sont très stricts sur les serviettes, chacun est littéralement comptabilisé pour sinon il y a un frais par serviette, Pas beaucoup tant que vous gardez le tracé, n'avez pas vraiment besoin de porter un toilet autour de tout, le seul côté que je dois dire était que le restaurant italien était beaucoup mieux que l'option de buffet, les diapositives sont également assez intenses, J'ai vraiment mal à la jambe sur l'un d'eux, mais ça n'a pas arrêté le plaisir.

VVerified MemberThe staff were all great, especially all the restaurant staff. I especially appreciated the hotel making special arrangements to celebrate my birthday. However, some of the shortfalls included the very slow and inconsistent WIFI at our building (500), the bathroom door couldn’t be kept closed, and the in room jacuzzi never got hot. But on the positive note, the in room AC was very good, the room, bathroom and shower were spacious and had hot water.
P.S. I was underwhelmed by my undercooked tomahawk during dinner.
