My granddaughter had a fifth birthday party so I booked a stay for the night to save the sixty miles journey back to Essex . Maths came into this and holiday inn came top of the pile with breakfast thrown in so a no brainer . But as you can see by my ratings for cleanliness etc this hotel is way better than you would expect . The room we had was very nicely decorated and spotless. The bathroom was the same but there are tiny little details that might go unnoticed, like the bath towels are size xl and the shower is quality , the bed mattress is top quality . I could go on , but for my money I feel I got every penny . Breakfast was buffet style , so cereal , full English ,tea coffee juice , fruit , eat as much as you like . Microwave in reception , where else do you see that ? Reception toilets spotless. This is an eye opener for me as travelodge used to be my go to . But no more
Hard to listen to the traumatic stories of families awaiting social housing to house them.
The staff are all caring and professional.
It’s evident that they are a good team.
I’ve stayed in three different rooms, all very comfortable!
Our stay at the Mecure Bedford was lovely. The hotel is well located close to the city centre and a beautiful river with swans. The check in was quick and easy and the lady that checked us in was lovely. The hotel room felt a bit basic with no tooth brushes tea bags or cups in the room or mini fridge in the room.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing it made up for any downsides. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was great. The coffee was top tier as well. Well done!
Enjoyed our stay and will return for that breakfast😄😄
Great hotel for convenience to Luton airport.. one short bus journey away... staff were incredibly helpful and patient when I had a problem with payment card (Leah you were a star!). Room was spacious and spotless, cooked buffet breakfast hot, and lots of variety for cold options. Tea/Coffee available at reception 24hrs... All in all, a lovely atmosphere and I highly recommend it, especially for stop overs for airport travellers... parking is available just outside the front door, and a large mall is conveniently located tight next door for those things u may have forgotten to pack!!
First time visiting Bedford and I loved this quick hotel here. Walkable distance to the train station, a few restaurants nearby and short distance to the center for shopping and food.
.
Greeted upon arrival with a smile, the rooms pretty small for a 6’3 athletic guy such as myself. However, it’s functional with everything you need.
A very adequate stay with a great location. Beds were comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience with everything you need for a short trip.
Très bien

Excellent
IInvitéI booked and paid for a superior room based on your offer, as I have stayed in this room before. However, I was given a shabby, small room, number 14. It seems rooms 14 and 15 are reserved for guests you no longer wish to see. The explanation from the friendly receptionist was that the hotel was fully booked, which was not true. She tried to make up for the situation with a practical gift from Champneys, but the claustrophobic room and the difficulty of accessing it with a large suitcase after a long journey were unpleasant. The hotel incorrectly judged me based on my attire, even though I intended to use their facial massage services, which were very professional, as were their massages and the products they use. Everything that was old seven years ago is now seven years older and even more worn out. Breakfasts are modest but healthy. They could use more fresh herbs, which they once grew in the spa gardens, now overgrown with weeds. Guests leave their plates and glasses on the lawn, and no one picks them up promptly. The spa lacks organization, except on weekends when older women step in to help, solving problems more quickly and efficiently. I am disappointed because it is not fair to deceive customers regarding room types. While the room lacked nothing and was regularly cleaned, it was next to a smelly toilet, and I was promised a superior room but given a standard one, as indicated on the temporary card received upon arrival. However, I must commend the lady who has diligently worked there for 30 years. It would be nice if she were friendly even when not promoting their services. If improvements are not made to the facilities and surroundings, there is no reason for me to return specially after the room switch and no difference in the price.
LLoyPThe hotel is 15 mins walk from Luton Airport Parkway train station. And another 15 mins walk to the Luton Airport. Perfect for a night stay before a morning or afternoon flight. My room was very spacious, bed sheets were fresh and clean and the staff were nice to talk to.
JJet YThe hotel is near the train station and easy to access. There is also bus stop nearby which could bring us to the Luton Airport within 30 mins. In conclusion, the hotel location is very convenient.
The accommodation is in the basic standard level and acceptable. It is a considerable option if you wish to stay for 1 or 2 nights only with few budgets.

Nnabiki2I was only here a few hours for a rest during a long layover, but it was a great decision. Comfortable bed, hot tea service in the room, bar in the lobby. It’s a 12 minute walk to the airport. Extremely convenient and refreshing.
