The hotel itself is nice, but the room was very dirty. And I’m not talking about minor surface dirt - it was clear that proper cleaning had not been done for a long time. There were layers of dust, a dirty carpet, stained doors, etc. We also booked parking, but no one explained where exactly we should go or how to enter. When we called the hotel from the parking area, no one opened the gate. We had to go to the hotel in person and ask again. These are things hotel staff should explain proactively and clearly, rather than guests having to chase this information themselves. Overall, the hotel itself is not bad, but the dirt and the passivity of the staff completely spoil the experience.

Easy to find. Tram ride to hotel from train station so it was super convenient. Newr all attractions! You can decide to walk or take a tram which is right around the corner of hotel. Quite at night and big rooms! Coffee shop in the lobby is also good. People are nice and pleasant. Will definitely stay in this hotel again. Woke up with birds singing everyday :-)

L'hôtel est confortable et confortable, avec un petit déjeuner buffet. La maman de ma chambre a montré son âge en se servant d'un côté. Le personnel a été prompt à récupérer des biens perdus et à envoyer à ma prochaine destination. Comme Zagreb est une ville compacte, l'hôtel se trouve à une distance de marche facile à tous les grands attractions, avec des magasins de confort à la porte et la gare centrale à 2 blocs.

One Rude Staff Member Ruined an Otherwise Decent Stay I stayed at Esplanade Zagreb Hotel with high expectations given its historic prestige, but one employee’s unprofessional behavior significantly tarnished my experience. Upon arrival, I mistakenly entered the hotel’s parking area as the parking gate opened. After realizing the error, I proceeded to the lobby, completed check-in, and moved my car to the designated drop-off zone for valet service. At this point, a parking attendant aggressively confronted me—hands on hips, speaking in a condescending tone, and demanding how I’d accessed the area. His demeanor was more suited to scolding a trespasser than addressing a paying guest. To be fair, the front desk and concierge staff were perfectly polite and efficient. Had I not encountered this particular employee, my overall impression would have been positive. But for a hotel branding itself as a luxury establishment, even one hostile interaction is unacceptable. A guest’s entire perception can be undone by a single moment of poor service. The incident casts doubt on the hotel’s training standards. Why does such a disparity in staff attitudes exist? I hope management addresses this, as no amount of century-old tradition excuses rudeness. Until then, I’d hesitate to return or recommend Esplanade Zagreb without caution.

La principale raison de réserver cet hôtel est qu'il est très proche de la gare routière de Zagreb, à seulement quelques minutes à pied, ce qui le rend idéal pour voyager vers d'autres villes. Cet hôtel est situé dans une petite ruelle avec un environnement décent. Il y a un restaurant et un bar en bas. J'ai essayé la pizza là-bas et c'était plutôt bon. Il y a un supermarché Tommy à proximité, donc c'est assez pratique pour acheter des choses.

Je suis resté samedi et dimanche, et il y avait un parking public en diagonale de l'autre côté de la rue, donc le stationnement était gratuit. (Parking public à Zagreb : samedi 15h00 ~ dimanche gratuit) Le logement est beaucoup plus grand que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Les installations sont également bonnes Le lieu du petit-déjeuner est petit, il serait donc préférable de le prendre à un moment où il n'y a pas de monde. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux.

L'hôtel est situé à proximité de la maison, et il est très confortable, surtout si je voyage par voiture. Il est clair que la décharge des cheveux d'autres n'était pas ma idée d'un bain bien entretenu dans un hôtel 4-star, donc je me plaignais à la réception. En général, la douche pouvait utiliser un peu de CLL car le réservoir de toilette à l'intérieur de la douche n'était pas propre (avec un peu de moulage sur elle). La chambre était adéquate et la position de l'hôtel permet un bon sommeil, même avec des fenêtres ouvertes, car elle est loin des rues occupées. Le petit déjeuner était médiocre - les croissants étaient semi-bacées, presque brutes à l'intérieur et certainement juste faites à partir de congelés (pas frais dans la boulangerie de l'hôtel).

Fantastic location, excellent service and a clean room to complete the package. I ordered room service instead of going out and was so impressed with the service. Served with a smile and felt like a valued guest. Buffet breakfast offered something for everyone, whether it was a hot or continental breakfast. Thank you for looking after me!

Hotel Madison in Zagreb is a great place! The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very kind, thank you Igor, very welcoming, and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Zagreb. I highly recommend
