The property location was very nice, food was good and rooms were good as well. Just in front of the monastery 2 min walk distance plus right near the market area and cafes and landing point so overall the stay was great.

Yalakhom is situated at a remote yet accessible village in Himachal Pradesh called - Kalgha. Kalgha comes in the way to Kheerganga Trek, so those who are planning to go for the trek may consider staying at Yalakhom, as it is a great place to rewind and relax. I stayed at Yalakhom in the first week of June, the weather was pleasant and the rains made my stay even more pleasurable. When you will be at Yalakhom there won’t be any view you could take your eyes off. The people managing the homestay are also great. They take their time in cooking food, but they will serve you the freshest food possible with wide variety to choose from, that too at such a remote place. The wonderful folks at Yalakhom also offer accompanied guidance for treks, however I wasn’t aware of this until my final day at Yalakhom, so I couldn’t make use of the same. Pemba bhai, Agrimji, Resham bhai and Yangzee didi must be specifically mentioned. They will accomodate you as you are their friend, while respecting your privacy at the same time. I highly recommend Yalakhom notwithstanding your purpose of vacation, be it trekking or taking a peaceful break at the Himalayas.

Excellent Stay. C'était ma première visite et j'ai été réservé pour un jour mais j'ai fini par rester une journée supplémentaire. Le personnel est extrêmement utile. Cette propriété est propre et avec un environnement très relaxant. Ils ont un parking pour enfants beau avec des swings. Un grand nombre de parkings de voiture. Je recommande cet endroit et je voudrais rester à nouveau dans un avenir proche.

Location is good. The service is little slow. The breakfast offers a variety of food and is fine. The rooms are quite specious. However the amenities in the bathroom can be improved.
